2 Die Städte5892 Aroer6177 werden verlassen5800 sein, daß Herden5739 daselbst weiden7257, die niemand scheuche2729.

2 The cities5892 of Aroer6177 are forsaken:5800 they shall be for flocks,5739 which shall lie7257 down,7257 and none369 shall make them afraid.2729

3 Und wird7673 aus sein mit der Feste4013 Ephraim669; und das Königreich4467 zu Damaskus1834 und das Übrige7605 zu Syrien758 wird sein wie die Herrlichkeit3519 der Kinder1121 Israel3478, spricht5002 der HErr3068 Zebaoth6635.

3 The fortress4013 also shall cease7673 from Ephraim,669 and the kingdom4467 from Damascus,1834 and the remnant7605 of Syria:758 they shall be as the glory3519 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 said5002 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635

4 Zu der Zeit3117 wird die Herrlichkeit3519 Jakobs3290 dünn sein1809, und1320 sein7329 fetter4924 Leib wird mager sein.

4 And in that day3117 it shall come1961 to pass, that the glory3519 of Jacob3290 shall be made thin,1809 and the fatness4924 of his flesh1320 shall wax lean.7329

5 Denn sie wird sein, als wenn einer Getreide7054 einsammelte622 in der Ernte7105, und als wenn einer mit seinem Arm2220 die Ähren7641 einerntete7114, und als wenn einer Ähren7641 läse3950 im Tal6010 Rephaim7497,

5 And it shall be as when the harvestman7105 gathers622 the corn,7054 and reaps7114 the ears7641 with his arm;2220 and it shall be as he that gathers3950 ears7641 in the valley6010 of Rephaim.7497

6 und eine Nachernte5955 drinnen bliebe7604, als wenn man einen Ölbaum2132 schüttelte5363, daß zwo und drei7969 Beeren blieben1620 oben7218 in dem Wipfel534, oder als wenn vier702 oder fünf2568 Früchte6509 an den Zweigen5585 hangen, spricht5002 der HErr3068, der GOtt430 Israels3478.

6 Yet gleaning5955 grapes shall be left7604 in it, as the shaking5363 of an olive2132 tree, two8147 or three7969 berries1620 in the top7218 of the uppermost bough,534 four702 or five2568 in the outmost fruitful6509 branches5585 thereof, said5002 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel.3478

7 Zu6213 der Zeit3117 wird sich der Mensch120 halten8159 zu dem, der ihn gemacht hat; und seine Augen5869 werden7200 auf den Heiligen6918 in Israel3478 schauen.

7 At that day3117 shall a man120 look8159 to his Maker,6213 and his eyes5869 shall have respect7200 to the Holy6918 One of Israel.3478

8 Und wird sich7200 nicht halten8159 zu6213 den Altären4196, die seine Hände3027 gemacht haben, und nicht schauen auf das4639, das seine Finger676 gemacht haben, weder auf Haine842 noch Bilder.

8 And he shall not look8159 to the altars,4196 the work4639 of his hands,3027 neither3808 shall respect7200 that which834 his fingers676 have made,6213 either the groves,842 or the images.2553

9 Zu der8077 Zeit3117 werden die Städte5892 ihrer Stärke4581 sein5800 wie ein verlassener Ast und Zweig, so verlassen5800 ward vor6440 den Kindern1121 Israel3478; und werden wüste sein.

9 In that day3117 shall his strong4581 cities5892 be as a forsaken5800 bough,2793 and an uppermost branch,534 which834 they left5800 because6440 of the children1121 of Israel:3478 and there shall be desolation.8077

10 Denn du hast5193 vergessen Gottes430, deines Heils3468, und nicht7911 gedacht2142 an den Fels6697 deiner Stärke4581. Darum wirst du lustige5282 Pflanzen5194 setzen, aber du wirst damit den Fremden2114 die Feser gelegt haben.

10 Because3588 you have forgotten7911 the God430 of your salvation,3468 and have not been mindful2142 of the rock6697 of your strength,4581 therefore5921 3651 shall you plant5193 pleasant2532 plants,5194 and shall set2232 it with strange2114 slips:2156

11 Zur Zeit3117 des Pflanzens5194 wirst du sein wohl warten7735, daß dein Same2233 zeitlich wachse6524; aber in der Ernte7105, wenn3117 du die Mandeln sollst erben, wirst du dafür Schmerzen2470 eines605 Betrübten3511 haben.

11 In the day3117 shall you make your plant5194 to grow,7735 and in the morning1242 shall you make your seed2233 to flourish:6524 but the harvest7105 shall be a heap5067 in the day3117 of grief2470 and of desperate605 sorrow.3511

12 O wehe1945 der Menge1995 so großen7227 Volks5971! Wie das Meer3220 wird es brausen1993, und das Getümmel1993 der Leute3816 wird wüten7588, wie große Wasser4325 wüten7582.
|
12 Woe1945 to the multitude1995 of many7227 people,5971 which make a noise1993 like the noise1993 of the seas;3220 and to the rushing7588 of nations,3816 that make a rushing7582 like the rushing7588 of mighty3524 waters!4325

13 Ja, wie große7227 Wasser4325 wüten7588, so werden7582 die Leute3816 wüten. Aber er wird sie6440 schelten1605, so werden5127 sie ferne4801 wegfliehen; und wird sie verfolgen7291, wie dem Staube auf6440 den Bergen2022 vom Winde7307 geschieht, und wie einem Windwirbel vom Ungewitter1534 geschieht.

13 The nations3816 shall rush7582 like the rushing7588 of many7227 waters:4325 but God shall rebuke1605 them, and they shall flee5127 far4801 off, and shall be chased7291 as the chaff4671 of the mountains2022 before6440 the wind,7307 and like a rolling1534 thing before6440 the whirlwind.5492

14 Um den Abend6153, siehe, so ist Schrecken1091 da; und2506 ehe es Morgen1242 wird, sind sie962 nimmer da. Das ist der Lohn unserer Räuber8154 und das Erbe derer, die uns1486 das Unsere nehmen.

14 And behold2009 at evening6256 6153 trouble;1091 and before2962 the morning1242 he is not. This2088 is the portion2506 of them that spoil8154 us, and the lot1486 of them that rob962 us.
