6 His body1472 also was like the beryl,8658 and his face6440 as the appearance4758 of lightning,1300 and his eyes5869 as lamps3940 of fire,784 and his arms2220 and his feet4772 like in color5869 to polished7044 brass,5178 and the voice6963 of his words1697 like the voice6963 of a multitude.1995

7 Ich, Daniel1840, aber61 sah7200 solch Gesicht4759 alleine, und die Männer582, so bei mir waren, sahen‘s7200 nicht; doch fiel ein groß1419 Schrecken2731 über sie, daß sie flohen1272 und sich5307 verkrochen2244.

8 Therefore I589 was left7604 alone,905 and saw7200 853 this2063 great1419 vision,4759 and there remained7604 no3808 strength3581 in me: for my comeliness1935 was turned2015 in5921 me into corruption,4889 and I retained6113 no3808 strength.3581

9 Und ich hörete seine Rede6963; und indem ich sie8085 hörete, sank ich nieder auf6963 mein Angesicht6440 zur Erde776.

9 Yet heard8085 I853 the voice6963 of his words:1697 and when I heard8085 853 the voice6963 of his words,1697 then was1961 I589 in a deep sleep7290 on5921 my face,6440 and my face6440 toward the ground.776

10 Und siehe, eine Hand3027 rührete mich an5060 und half mir5128 auf die3027 Kniee1290 und auf die Hände3709

10 And, behold,2009 a hand3027 touched5060 me, which set5128 me upon5921 my knees1290 and upon the palms3709 of my hands.3027

11 und sprach559 zu mir5977: Du lieber2532 Daniel1840, merke auf5975 die Worte1696, die ich995 mit dir rede1697, und richte dich auf5975; denn ich bin jetzt zu dir gesandt7971. Und da er376 solches1697 mit mir redete1696, richtete ich mich auf und zitterte7460.

12 Und er5414 sprach559 zu8085 mir6440: Fürchte3372 dich6031 nicht, Daniel1840; denn von dem ersten7223 Tage3117 an, da du von Herzen3820 begehretest zu verstehen995, und dich kasteietest vor deinem GOtt430, sind935 deine, Worte1697 erhöret; und ich bin kommen um1697 deinetwillen.

12 Then said559 he unto413 me, Fear3372 not,408 Daniel:1840 for3588 from4480 the first7223 day3117 that834 thou didst set5414 853 thine heart3820 to understand,995 and to chasten thyself6031 before6440 thy God,430 thy words1697 were heard,8085 and I589 am come935 for thy words.1697

13 Aber der259 Fürst8269 des Königreichs4438 in Persienland hat mir681 einundzwanzig6242 Tage3117 widerstanden5975; und siehe, Michael4317, der vornehmsten7223 Fürsten8269 einer259, kam935 mir zu Hilfe5826; da behielt3498 ich den Sieg bei den Königen4428 in Persien6539.

13 But the prince8269 of the kingdom4438 of Persia6539 withstood5975 5048 me one259 and twenty6242 days:3117 but, lo,2009 Michael,4317 one259 of the chief7223 princes,8269 came935 to help5826 me; and I589 remained3498 there8033 with681 the kings4428 of Persia.6539

14 Nun aber komme ich, daß ich dir berichte, wie3117 es deinem Volk5971 hernach319 gehen935 wird995; denn das Gesicht2377 wird7136 nach etlicher Zeit3117 geschehen.

15 Und als er5414 solches1697 mit mir6440 redete1696, schlug ich mein Angesicht nieder zur Erde776 und schwieg stille.

16 Und1121 siehe, einer, gleich1823 einem Menschen120, rührete meine Lippen8193 an. Da tat6605 ich meinen Mund6310 auf5975 und redete1696 und sprach559 zu dem, der vor mir2015 stund: Mein Herr113, meine Gelenke beben mir über dem Gesicht4759, und ich habe6113 keine Kraft3581 mehr.

16 And, behold,2009 one like the similitude1823 of the sons1121 of men120 touched5060 5921 my lips:8193 then I opened6605 my mouth,6310 and spoke,1696 and said559 unto413 him that stood5975 before5048 me, O my lord,113 by the vision4758 my sorrows6735 are turned2015 upon5921 me, and I have retained6113 no3808 strength.3581

17 Und wie1963 kann3201 der Knecht5650 meines Herrn113 mit meinem Herrn113 reden1696, weil nun6258 keine Kraft3581 mehr in mir ist5975, und habe7604 auch keinen Odem5397 mehr?

17 For how1963 can3201 the servant5650 of this2088 my lord113 talk1696 with5973 this2088 my lord?113 for as for me,589 straightway4480 6258 there remained5975 no3808 strength3581 in me, neither3808 is there breath5397 left7604 in me.

18 Da rührete mich abermal an einer3254, gleichwie ein Mensch120 gestaltet, und4758 stärkte2388 mich

18 Then there came again3584 and touched5060 me one like the appearance4758 of a man,120 and he strengthened2388 me,
|

19 und sprach559: Fürchte3372 dich nicht, du lieber2532 Mann376! Friede7965 sei mit dir; und sei getrost2388, sei getrost2388! Und als er2388 mit mir redete1696, ermannete ich2388 mich und sprach559: Mein Herr113, rede; denn du hast1696 mich gestärkt.

19 And said,559 O man376 greatly beloved,2530 fear3372 not:408 peace7965 be unto thee, be strong,2388 yea, be strong.2388 And when he had spoken1696 unto5973 me, I was strengthened,2388 and said,559 Let my lord113 speak;1696 for3588 thou hast strengthened2388 me.

20 Und er sprach559: Weißt3045 du auch, warum ich zu dir kommen3318 bin? Jetzt will935 ich wieder7725 hin und mit dem Fürsten8269 in Persienland streiten3898; aber wenn ich wegziehe, siehe, so wird der Fürst8269 aus Griechenland3120 kommen935.

20 Then said559 he, Knowest3045 thou wherefore4100 I come935 unto413 thee? and now6258 will I return7725 to fight3898 with5973 the prince8269 of Persia:6539 and when I589 am gone forth,3318 lo,2009 the prince8269 of Greece3120 shall come.935

21 Doch61 will ich2388 dir anzeigen, was geschrieben ist7559, das gewißlich geschehen wird3791. Und ist571 keiner, der259 mir5046 hilft wider jene denn euer Fürst8269 Michael4317.

21 But61 I will show5046 thee853 that which is noted7559 in the Scripture3791 of truth:571 and there is none369 259 that holdeth2388 with5973 me in5921 these things,428 but3588 518 Michael4317 your prince.8269
