1 Thus3541 has the Lord136 GOD3069 showed7200 to me; and, behold,2009 he formed3335 grasshoppers1462 in the beginning8462 of the shooting5927 up of the latter3954 growth;3954 and, see,2009 it was the latter3954 growth3954 after310 the king's4428 mowings.1488

2 And it came1961 to pass, that when518 they had made an end3615 of eating398 the grass6212 of the land,776 then I said,559 O Lord136 GOD,3069 forgive,5545 I beseech4994 you: by whom4310 shall Jacob3290 arise?6965 for he is small.6996

2 И было, когда она окончила3615 есть398 траву6212 на земле,776 я сказал:559 Господи136 Боже!3069 пощади;5545 как устоит6965 Иаков?3290 он очень мал.6996

3 The LORD3068 repented5162 for this:2063 It shall not be, said559 the LORD.3068

4 Thus3541 has the Lord136 GOD3069 showed7200 to me: and, behold,2009 the Lord136 GOD3069 called7121 to contend7378 by fire,784 and it devoured398 the great7227 deep,8415 and did eat398 up a part.2506

4 Такое видение7200 открыл7200 мне Господь136 Бог:3069 вот, Господь136 Бог3069 произвел7121 для суда7378 огонь,784 — и он пожрал398 великую7227 пучину,8415 пожрал398 и часть2506 земли.

5 Then said559 I, O Lord136 GOD,3069 cease,2308 I beseech4994 you: by whom4310 shall Jacob3290 arise?6965 for he is small.6996

5 И сказал559 я: Господи136 Боже!3069 останови;2308 как устоит6965 Иаков?3290 он очень мал.6996
|

6 The LORD3068 repented5162 for this:2063 This1931 also shall not be, said559 the Lord136 GOD.3069

6 И пожалел5162 Господь3068 о том; «и этого не будет», сказал559 Господь136 Бог.3069
|
|
7 Thus3541 he showed7200 me: and, behold,2009 the LORD136 stood5324 on a wall2346 made by a plumb line,594 with a plumb line594 in his hand.3027

7 Такое видение7200 открыл7200 Он мне: вот, Господь136 стоял5324 на отвесной594 стене,2346 и в руке3027 у Него свинцовый594 отвес.594

8 And the LORD3068 said559 to me, Amos,5986 what4100 see7200 you? And I said,559 A plumb line.594 Then said559 the LORD,136 Behold,2005 I will set7760 a plumb line594 in the middle7130 of my people5971 Israel:3478 I will not again3254 pass5674 by them any more:5750

8 И сказал559 мне Господь:3068 что ты видишь,7200 Амос?5986 Я ответил:559 отвес.594 И Господь136 сказал:559 вот, положу7760 отвес594 среди7130 народа5971 Моего, Израиля;3478 не буду5674 более3254 прощать5674 ему.

9 And the high1116 places of Isaac3446 shall be desolate,8074 and the sanctuaries4720 of Israel3478 shall be laid waste;2717 and I will rise6965 against5921 the house1004 of Jeroboam3379 with the sword.2719

9 И опустошены8074 будут8074 жертвенные высоты1116 Исааковы,3446 и разрушены2717 будут2717 святилища4720 Израилевы,3478 и восстану6965 с мечом2719 против дома1004 Иеровоамова.3379

10 Then Amaziah558 the priest3548 of Bethel1008 sent7971 to Jeroboam3379 king4428 of Israel,3478 saying,559 Amos5986 has conspired7194 against5921 you in the middle7130 of the house1004 of Israel:3478 the land776 is not able3201 to bear3557 all3605 his words.1697

10 И послал7971 Амасия,558 священник3548 Вефильский,1008 к Иеровоаму,3379 царю4428 Израильскому,3478 сказать:559 Амос5986 производит7194 возмущение7194 против тебя среди7130 дома1004 Израилева;3478 земля776 не может3201 терпеть3557 всех слов1697 его.

11 For thus3541 Amos5986 said,559 Jeroboam3379 shall die4191 by the sword,2719 and Israel3478 shall surely be led away captive1540 out of their own land.127
|
11 Ибо так говорит559 Амос:5986 «от меча2719 умрет4191 Иеровоам,3379 а Израиль3478 непременно1540 отведен1540 будет1540 пленным1540 из земли127 своей».

12 Also Amaziah558 said559 to Amos,5986 O you seer,2374 go,3212 flee1272 you away into413 the land776 of Judah,3063 and there8033 eat398 bread,3899 and prophesy5012 there:8033

12 И сказал559 Амасия558 Амосу:5986 провидец!2374 пойди3212 и удались1272 в землю776 Иудину;3063 там ешь398 хлеб,3899 и там пророчествуй,5012

13 But prophesy5012 not again3254 any more5750 at Bethel:1008 for it is the king's4428 chapel,4720 and it is the king's4467 court.1004
|
13 а в Вефиле1008 больше3254 не пророчествуй,5012 ибо он святыня4720 царя4428 и дом1004 царский.4467
|
|
14 Then answered6030 Amos,5986 and said559 to Amaziah,558 I was no3808 prophet,5030 neither3808 was I a prophet's5030 son;1121 but I was an herdsman,951 and a gatherer1103 of sycomore8256 fruit:

14 И отвечал6030 Амос5986 и сказал559 Амасии:558 я не пророк5030 и не сын1121 пророка;5030 я был пастух951 и собирал1103 сикоморы.8256

15 And the LORD3068 took3947 me as I followed310 the flock,6629 and the LORD3068 said559 to me, Go,3212 prophesy5012 to my people5971 Israel.3478
|
15 Но Господь3068 взял3947 меня от310 овец6629 и сказал559 мне Господь:3068 «иди,3212 пророчествуй5012 к народу5971 Моему, Израилю».3478
|
|
16 Now6258 therefore hear8085 you the word1697 of the LORD:3068 You say,559 Prophesy5012 not against5921 Israel,3478 and drop5197 not your word against5921 the house1004 of Isaac.3446
|
16 Теперь выслушай8085 слово1697 Господне.3068 Ты говоришь:559 «не пророчествуй5012 на Израиля3478 и не произноси5197 слов на дом1004 Исааков».3446

17 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the LORD;3068 Your wife802 shall be an harlot2181 in the city,5892 and your sons1121 and your daughters1323 shall fall5307 by the sword,2719 and your land127 shall be divided2505 by line;2256 and you shall die4191 in a polluted2931 land:127 and Israel3478 shall surely go3212 into captivity1540 forth of his land.127

17 За это, вот что говорит559 Господь:3068 жена802 твоя будет2181 обесчещена2181 в городе,5892 сыновья1121 и дочери1323 твои падут5307 от меча,2719 земля127 твоя будет2505 разделена2505 межевою2256 вервью,2256 а ты умрешь4191 в5921 земле127 нечистой,2931 и Израиль3478 непременно1540 выведен1540 будет1540 из земли127 своей.
