They that forsake5800 the law8451 praise1984 the wicked:7563 but such as keep8104 the law8451 contend1624 with them.

Evil7451 men582 understand995 not judgment:4941 but they that seek1245 the LORD3068 understand995 all3605 things.

Better2896 is the poor1800 that walks1980 in his uprightness,8537 than he that is perverse6141 in his ways,1870 though he be rich.6223

Whoever keeps5341 the law8451 is a wise995 son:1121 but he that is a companion7462 of riotous2151 men shames3637 his father.1

As a roaring5098 lion,739 and a ranging8264 bear;1677 so is a wicked7563 ruler4910 over5921 the poor1800 people.5971

The prince5057 that wants2638 understanding8394 is also a great7227 oppressor:4642 but he that hates8130 covetousness1215 shall prolong748 his days.3117

A man that does violence6231 to the blood1818 of any person5315 shall flee5127 to the pit;953 let no408 man120 stay8551 him.

A faithful530 man376 shall abound7227 with blessings:1293 but he that makes haste213 to be rich6238 shall not be innocent.5352

To have respect5234 of persons6440 is not good:2896 for for a piece6595 of bread3899 that man1397 will transgress.6586

He that hastens926 to be rich1952 has an evil7451 eye,5869 and considers3045 not that poverty2639 shall come935 on him.

He that rebukes3198 a man120 afterwards310 shall find4672 more favor2580 than he that flatters2505 with the tongue.3956

Whoever robs1497 his father1 or his mother,517 and said,559 It is no369 transgression;6588 the same1931 is the companion2270 of a destroyer.7843
