1 I1473 therefore,3767 the3588 prisoner1198 of1722 the Lord,2962 beseech3870 you5209 that ye walk4043 worthy516 of the3588 vocation2821 wherewith3739 ye are called,2564
|
1 所以［therefore］，我為主被囚的勸你們：既然蒙召，行事為人就當與蒙召的分［vocation］相稱，
|
|
2 With3326 all3956 lowliness5012 and2532 meekness,4236 with3326 longsuffering,3115 forbearing430 one another240 in1722 love;26
|
2 凡事謙虛、溫柔、忍耐，用愛心互相寬容，
|
|
3 Endeavoring4704 to keep5083 the3588 unity1775 of the3588 Spirit4151 in1722 the3588 bond4886 of peace.1515
|
3 用和平彼此聯絡，竭力保守蒙靈［of the Spirit］所賜合而為一的心。
|
|
4 There is one1520 body,4983 and2532 one1520 Spirit,4151 even as2531 ye are called2564 in1722 one3391 hope1680 of your5216 calling;2821
|
4 身體只有一個，靈［Spirit］只有一個，正如你們蒙召同有一個盼望［hope］；
|
|
5 One1520 Lord,2962 one3391 faith,4102 one1520 baptism,908
|
5 一主，一信，一浸，
|
|
6 One1520 God2316 and2532 Father3962 of all,3956 who3588 is above1909 all,3956 and2532 through1223 all,3956 and2532 in1722 you5213 all.3956
|
6 一神，就是眾人的父，超乎眾人之上，貫乎眾人之中，也住在你們［you］眾人之內。
|
|
7 But1161 unto every1538 one1520 of us2257 is given1325 grace5485 according2596 to the3588 measure3358 of the3588 gift1431 of Christ.5547
|
7 我們各人蒙恩，都是照基督所量給各人的恩賜。
|
|
8 Wherefore1352 he saith,3004 When he ascended up305 on1519 high,5311 he led captivity captive,162 161 and2532 gave1325 gifts1390 unto men.444
|
8 所以經上說：「他升上高天的時候，擄掠了仇敵，將各樣的恩賜賞給人。」
|
|
9 (Now1161 that3588 he ascended,305 what5101 is2076 it but1508 that3754 he also2532 descended2597 first4412 into1519 the3588 lower2737 parts3313 of the3588 earth?1093
|
9 （既說升上，豈不是先降到地底下［lower parts of the earth］嗎？
|
|
10 He that descended2597 is2076 the same846 also2532 that ascended up305 far above5231 all3956 heavens,3772 that2443 he might fill4137 all things.)3956
|
10 那降下的，就是遠升諸天之上要充滿一切［all things］的。）
|
|
11 And2532 he846 gave1325 some,3588 3303 apostles;652 and1161 some,3588 prophets;4396 and1161 some,3588 evangelists;2099 and1161 some,3588 pastors4166 and2532 teachers;1320
|
11 他所賜的，有使徒，有先知，有傳福音的，有牧師和教師，
|
|
12 For4314 the3588 perfecting2677 of the3588 saints,40 for1519 the work2041 of the ministry,1248 for1519 the edifying3619 of the3588 body4983 of Christ: 5547
|
12 為要成全聖徒，各盡其職，造就［edifying］基督的身體，
|
|
13 Till3360 we all3956 come2658 in1519 the3588 unity1775 of the3588 faith,4102 and2532 of the3588 knowledge1922 of the3588 Son5207 of God,2316 unto1519 a perfect5046 man,435 unto1519 the measure3358 of the stature2244 of the3588 fullness4138 of Christ: 5547

13 直等到我們眾人在信仰［faith］上同歸於一，認識神的兒子，得以成為完全人［unto perfect man］，滿有基督長成的身量，
|
|
14 That2443 we henceforth be5600 no more3371 children,3516 tossed to and fro,2831 and2532 carried about4064 with every3956 wind417 of doctrine,1319 by1722 the3588 sleight2940 of men,444 and1722 cunning craftiness,3834 whereby4314 they lie in wait to deceive;3180 4106

14 使我們不再作小孩子，中了人埋伏要迷惑人［whereby they lie in wait to deceive］的手法［sleight］和乖巧的詭計［cunning craftiness］，被一切異道［doctrine］之風搖動，飄來飄去；
|
|
15 But1161 speaking the truth226 in1722 love,26 may grow up837 into1519 him846 in all things,3956 which3739 is2076 the3588 head,2776 even Christ: 5547
|
15 唯用愛心說真理［the truth］，凡事長進，連於元首基督。
|
|
16 From1537 whom3739 the3588 whole3956 body4983 fitly joined together4883 and2532 compacted4822 by1223 that which every3956 joint860 supplieth,2024 according2596 to the effectual working1753 in1722 the measure3358 of every1538 1520 part,3313 maketh4160 increase838 of the3588 body4983 unto1519 the edifying3619 of itself1438 in1722 love.26

16 全身都靠他聯絡得合式，百節各按各職，照著各體的功用彼此相助，便叫身體漸漸增長，在愛中造就［edifying］自己。
|
|
17 This5124 I say3004 therefore,3767 and2532 testify3143 in1722 the Lord,2962 that ye5209 henceforth walk not3371 4043 as2531 2532 other3062 Gentiles1484 walk,4043 in1722 the vanity3153 of their848 mind,3563
|
17 所以我說，且在主裏作見證［testify］，你們行事不要再像別的［other］外邦人存虛妄的心行事。
|
|
18 Having the3588 understanding1271 darkened,4654 being5607 alienated526 from the3588 life2222 of God2316 through1223 the3588 ignorance52 that is5607 in1722 them,846 because1223 of the3588 blindness4457 of their846 heart: 2588
|
18 他們心地昏昧，與神所賜的生命隔絕了，都因自己無知，瞎了心眼［blindness of their heart］；
|
|
19 Who3748 being past feeling524 have given themselves over3860 1438 unto lasciviousness,766 to1519 work2039 all3956 uncleanness167 with1722 greediness.4124
|
19 良心既然喪盡，就放縱私慾，貪行種種的污穢。
|
|
20 But1161 ye5210 have not3756 so3779 learned3129 Christ;5547
|
20 你們學了基督，卻不是這樣。
|
|
21 If so be1489 that ye have heard191 him,846 and2532 have been taught1321 by1722 him,846 as2531 the truth225 is2076 in1722 Jesus: 2424
|
21 如果你們聽過耶穌［Jesus］的道，領了他的教，學了他的真理，
|
|
22 That ye5209 put off659 concerning2596 the3588 former4387 conversation391 the3588 old3820 man,444 which is corrupt5351 according2596 to the3588 deceitful539 lusts;1939
|
22 就要脫去你們從前行為上的舊人，這舊人是因私慾的迷惑而敗壞的［corrupt according to the deceitful lusts］；
|
|
23 And1161 be renewed365 in the3588 spirit4151 of your5216 mind;3563
|
23 又要將你們屬靈［in the spirit］的心志改換一新，
|
|
24 And2532 that ye put on1746 the3588 new2537 man,444 which after2596 God2316 is created2936 in1722 righteousness1343 and2532 true225 holiness.3742
|
24 並且穿上新人，這新人是照著神的形像創造［created］的，有公義［righteousness］和真正的［true］聖潔。
|
|
25 Wherefore1352 putting away659 lying,5579 speak2980 every man1538 truth225 with3326 his848 neighbor:4139 for3754 we are2070 members3196 one of another.240
|
25 所以你們要棄絕謊言，各人與鄰居說實話，因為我們是互相為肢體。
|
|
26 Be ye angry,3710 and2532 sin264 not: let3361 not3361 the3588 sun2246 go down1931 upon1909 your5216 wrath: 3950
|
26 生氣卻不要犯罪；不可含怒到日落，
|
|
27 Neither3383 give1325 place5117 to the3588 devil.1228
|
27 也不可給魔鬼留地步。
|
|
28 Let him that stole2813 steal2813 no more:3371 but1161 rather3123 let him labor,2872 working2038 with his hands5495 the thing which is good,18 that2443 he may have2192 to give3330 to him that needeth.2192 5532
|
28 從前偷竊的，不要再偷；總要勞力，親手作正經事，就可有餘分給那缺少的人。
|
|
29 Let no3361 3956 corrupt4550 communication3056 proceed1607 out of1537 your5216 mouth,4750 but235 that1536 which is good18 to4314 the3588 use5532 of edifying,3619 that2443 it may minister1325 grace5485 unto the3588 hearers.191
|
29 污穢的言語一句不可出口，只要隨事說造就人的好話，叫聽見的人得益處。
|
|
30 And2532 grieve3076 not3361 the3588 Holy40 Spirit4151 of God,2316 whereby1722 3739 ye are sealed4972 unto1519 the day2250 of redemption.629
|
30 不要叫神的聖靈擔憂；你們原是受了他的印記，等候得贖的日子來到。
|
|
31 Let all3956 bitterness,4088 and2532 wrath,2372 and2532 anger,3709 and2532 clamor,2906 and2532 evil speaking,988 be put away142 from575 you,5216 with4862 all3956 malice: 2549
|
31 一切苦毒、惱恨、忿怒、嚷鬧、毀謗，並一切的惡毒［malice］，都當從你們中間除掉；
|
|
32 And1161 be1096 ye kind5543 one to another,240 1519 tenderhearted,2155 forgiving5483 one another,1438 even2532 as2531 God2316 for Christ's sake1722 5547 hath forgiven5483 you.5213
|
32 並要以恩慈相待，存憐憫的心，彼此饒恕，正如神在基督裏饒恕了你們一樣。
