1 If3588 there be1961 a controversy7379 between996 men,376 and they come5066 unto413 judgment,4941 that the judges may judge8199 them; then they shall justify6663 853 the righteous,6662 and condemn7561 853 the wicked.7563

1 Wenn ein Hader7379 ist zwischen Männern582, so soll man sie5066 vor Gericht4941 bringen und sie richten8199 und den Gerechten6663 rechtsprechen und den GOttlosen7563 verdammen7561.

2 And it shall be,1961 if518 the wicked7563 man be worthy to be beaten,1121 5221 that the judge8199 shall cause him to lie down,5307 and to be beaten5221 before his face,6440 according to1767 his fault,7564 by a certain number.4557

2 Und1121 so1767 der GOttlose7563 Schläge verdienet hat5221, soll ihn der Richter8199 heißen niederfallen5307, und sollen ihn vor6440 ihm schlagen5221 nach dem Maß und Zahl4557 seiner Missetat7564.

3 Forty705 stripes he may give5221 him, and not3808 exceed:3254 lest,6435 if he should exceed,3254 and beat5221 him above5921 these428 with many7227 stripes,4347 then thy brother251 should seem vile7034 unto5869 thee.

3 Wenn man ihm vierzig705 Schläge4347 gegeben hat, soll man ihn nicht3254 mehr7227 schlagen5221, auf daß nicht3254, so man mehr Schläge gibt, er5221 zu viel geschlagen werde, und dein Bruder251 scheußlich vor deinen Augen5869 sei,

4 Thou shalt not3808 muzzle2629 the ox7794 when he treadeth out1758 the corn.
|
4 Du sollst dem Ochsen7794, der da drischet, nicht das Maul verbinden2629.
|
|
5 If3588 brethren251 dwell3427 together,3162 and one259 of4480 them die,4191 and have no369 child,1121 the wife802 of the dead4191 shall not3808 marry1961 without2351 unto a stranger:376 2114 her husband's brother2993 shall go in935 unto5921 her, and take3947 her to him to wife,802 and perform the duty of a husband's brother2992 unto her.

5 Wenn Brüder251 beieinander3162 wohnen, und935 einer259 stirbt4191 ohne Kinder1121, so soll des Verstorbenen4191 Weib802 nicht einen fremden2114 Mann draußen2351 nehmen3947, sondern ihr3427 Schwager2993 soll sie802 beschlafen und zum Weihe nehmen und sie ehelichen2992.

6 And it shall be,1961 that the firstborn1060 which834 she beareth3205 shall succeed6965 in5921 the name8034 of his brother251 which is dead,4191 that his name8034 be not3808 put out4229 of Israel.4480 3478

6 Und den8034 ersten Sohn1060, den sie gebieret, soll er bestätigen6965 nach dem Namen8034 seines verstorbenen Bruders251, daß, sein4191 Name nicht vertilget werde4229 aus Israel3478.

7 And if518 the man376 like2654 not3808 to take3947 853 his brother's wife,2994 then let his brother's wife2994 go up5927 to the gate8179 unto413 the elders,2205 and say,559 My husband's brother2993 refuseth3985 to raise up6965 unto his brother251 a name8034 in Israel,3478 he will14 not3808 perform the duty of my husband's brother.2992

7 Gefällt2654 es aber dem Manne376 nicht3985, daß er seine Schwägerin2994 nehme, so soll3947 sie, seine Schwägerin2994, hinaufgehen unter das Tor8179 vor die Ältesten2205 und sagen559: Mein Schwager2993 weigert sich5927, seinem Bruder251 einen Namen8034 zu erwecken6965 in Israel3478, und will14 mich nicht ehelichen2992.

8 Then the elders2205 of his city5892 shall call7121 him, and speak1696 unto413 him: and if he stand5975 to it, and say,559 I like2654 not3808 to take3947 her;

8 So sollen ihn die Ältesten2205 der Stadt5892 fordern und mit ihm reden1696. Wenn er dann stehet5975 und spricht559: Es gefällt2654 mir nicht, sie7121 zu nehmen3947,

9 Then shall his brother's wife2994 come5066 unto413 him in the presence5869 of the elders,2205 and loose2502 his shoe5275 from off4480 5921 his foot,7272 and spit3417 in his face,6440 and shall answer6030 and say,559 So3602 shall it be done6213 unto that man376 that834 will not3808 build up1129 853 his brother's251 house.1004

9 so soll seine Schwägerin2994 zu ihm treten5066 vor5869 den Ältesten2205 und ihm einen Schuh5275 ausziehen2502 von6440 seinen Füßen7272 und ihn anspeien3417; und soll antworten6030 und sprechen: Also soll man559 tun6213 einem jeden Manne376, der seines Bruders251 Haus1004 nicht erbauen will1129.

10 And his name8034 shall be called7121 in Israel,3478 The house1004 of him that hath his shoe5275 loosed.2502

10 Und sein Name soll in Israel3478 heißen8034 des Barfüßers5275 Haus1004.

11 When3588 men376 strive5327 together3162 one376 with another,251 and the wife802 of the one259 draweth near7126 for to deliver5337 853 her husband376 out of the hand4480 3027 of him that smiteth5221 him, and putteth forth7971 her hand,3027 and taketh2388 him by the secrets: 4016

11 Wenn sich7126 zween Männer582 miteinander3162 hadern5327, und376 des7971 einen259 Weib802 läuft zu, daß sie2388 ihren Mann376 errette5337 von der Hand3027 des, der ihn schlägt5221, und strecket ihre Hand3027 aus und ergreifet ihn bei seiner Scham4016,

12 Then thou shalt cut off7112 853 her hand,3709 thine eye5869 shall not3808 pity2347 her.
|
12 so sollst du ihr die Hand3709 abhauen7112, und dein Auge5869 soll ihrer nicht verschonen2347.
|
|
13 Thou shalt not3808 have1961 in thy bag3599 divers weights,68 68 a great1419 and a small.6996
|
13 Du sollst nicht zweierlei Gewicht in deinem Sack3599, groß1419 und klein6996, haben;
|
|
14 Thou shalt not3808 have1961 in thine house1004 divers measures,374 374 a great1419 and a small.6996
|
14 und in deinem Hause1004 soll nicht zweierlei Scheffel, groß1419 und klein6996, sein.
|
|
15 But thou shalt have1961 a perfect8003 and just6664 weight,68 a perfect8003 and just6664 measure374 shalt thou have:1961 that4616 thy days3117 may be lengthened748 in5921 the land127 which834 the LORD3068 thy God430 giveth5414 thee.

15 Du sollst ein völlig8003 und68 recht6664 Gewicht und6664 einen völligen und5414 rechten Scheffel374 haben, auf daß dein Leben lange748 währe in dem Lande127, das dir der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, geben3117 wird.

16 For3588 all3605 that do6213 such things,428 and all3605 that do6213 unrighteously,5766 are an abomination8441 unto the LORD3068 thy God.430
|
16 Denn wer solches428 tut6213, der ist dem HErrn3068, deinem GOtt430, ein Greuel8441, wie alle, die übel5766 tun6213.
|

17 Remember2142 853 what834 Amalek6002 did6213 unto thee by the way,1870 when ye were come forth3318 out of Egypt;4480 4714
|
17 Gedenke2142, was dir die Amalekiter6002 taten6213 auf dem Wege1870, da ihr aus3318 Ägypten4714 zoget:

18 How834 he met7136 thee by the way,1870 and smote the hindmost2179 of thee, even all3605 that were feeble2826 behind310 thee, when thou859 wast faint5889 and weary;3023 and he feared3372 not3808 God.430
|
18 wie sie dich angriffen7136 auf dem Wege1870 und schlugen2179 deine Hintersten, alle die Schwachen2826, die dir hinten nachzogen, da310 du müde5889 und matt3023 warst3373, und fürchteten GOtt430 nicht.

19 Therefore it shall be,1961 when the LORD3068 thy God430 hath given thee rest5117 from all4480 3605 thine enemies341 round about,4480 5439 in the land776 which834 the LORD3068 thy God430 giveth5414 thee for an inheritance5159 to possess3423 it, that thou shalt blot out4229 853 the remembrance2143 of Amalek6002 from under4480 8478 heaven;8064 thou shalt not3808 forget7911 it.

19 Wenn nun der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, dich zur Ruhe5117 bringet von allen deinen Feinden341 umher5439 im Lande, das776 dir der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, gibt5414 zum Erbe5159 einzunehmen3423, so sollst du das Gedächtnis2143 der Amalekiter6002 austilgen4229 unter dem Himmel8064. Das vergiß nicht7911!
