2 ГОСПОДИ, Боже мой! В Тебе одном — мое прибежище. Избавь меня от всех гонителей моих, спаси,
3 чтоб враг, как лев, не бросился бы на меня, не разорвал, когда спасти уж невозможно.
4 ГОСПОДИ, Боже мой! Если я сделал то, что мне приписывают, несправедливостью какою запятнал себя,
5 зло коль я творил тому, кто в мире был со мною, или грабил я того, кто беспричинно стал моим врагом,
6 пусть недруг мой преследует, настигнет пусть меня, пусть в землю втопчет жизнь мою и честь мою во прах повергнет.
7 Во гневе праведном Своем, ГОСПОДИ, яви Себя, против неистовства гонителей моих восстань! Воспрянь ради меня — Ты заповедал правый суд!
8 Собравшись, пусть народы станут вкруг Тебя, и Ты воссядь над ними в вышине небес.
9 (ГОСПОДЬ народы судит.) И участь мою, ГОСПОДИ, реши по правоте и чистоте моей.
10 Конец положи злу людей нечестивых, поддержи праведника, испытующий сердце и ум, праведный Бог!
11 Мой щит держит Бог, спасает Он сердцем правдивых.
12 Бог — Судия праведный, зло всякий день осуждает Он гневно,
13 и против того, кто не кается, Свой меч острит Он, лук Его согнут, туго натянут,
14 Свои Он приготовил орудия смерти, огонь несут стрелы Его.
15 И знай: кто зачинает зло, тот несчастье в себе вынашивает и обман рождает.
16 Роет он яму, углубляет ее, но сам же в нее попадает.
17 Зло его на голову ему возвращается, насилие его падает на темя ему.
