2 Then Nebuchadnezzar5020 the king4430 sent7972 to gather together3673 the princes,324 the governors,5460 and the captains,6347 the judges,148 the treasurers,1411 the counselors,1884 the sheriffs,8614 and all3606 the rulers7984 of the provinces,4083 to come858 to the dedication2597 of the image6755 which1768 Nebuchadnezzar5020 the king4430 had set up.6966

3 Then116 the princes,324 the governors,5460 and captains,6347 the judges,148 the treasurers,1411 the counselors,1884 the sheriffs,8614 and all3606 the rulers7984 of the provinces,4083 were gathered together3673 unto the dedication2597 of the image6755 that1768 Nebuchadnezzar5020 the king4430 had set up;6966 and they stood6966 before6903 the image6755 that1768 Nebuchadnezzar5020 had set up.6966

4 Then a herald3744 cried7123 aloud,2429 To you it is commanded,560 O people,5972 nations,524 and languages,3961

5 That at what1768 time5732 ye hear8086 the sound7032 of the cornet,7162 flute,4953 harp,7030 sackbut,5443 psaltery,6460 dulcimer,5481 and all3606 kinds2178 of music,2170 ye fall down5308 and worship5457 the golden1722 image6755 that1768 Nebuchadnezzar5020 the king4430 hath set up: 6966

6 And whoso4479 1768 falleth not down5308 3809 and worshipeth5457 shall the same hour8160 be cast7412 into the midst1459 of a burning3345 fiery5135 furnace.861

7 Therefore3606 6903 1836 at that time,2166 when1768 all3606 the people5972 heard8086 the sound7032 of the cornet,7162 flute,4953 harp,7030 sackbut,5443 psaltery,6460 and all3606 kinds2178 of music,2170 all3606 the people,5972 the nations,524 and the languages,3961 fell down5308 and worshiped5457 the golden1722 image6755 that1768 Nebuchadnezzar5020 the king4430 had set up.6966

11 And whoso4479 1768 falleth not down5308 3809 and worshipeth,5457 that he should be cast7412 into the midst1459 of a burning3345 fiery5135 furnace.861

12 There are383 certain1400 Jews3062 whom1768 thou hast set4483 over5922 the affairs5673 of the province4083 of Babylon,895 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego;5665 these479 men,1400 O king,4430 have not3809 regarded7761 2942 5922 thee: they serve6399 not3809 thy gods,426 nor3809 worship5457 the golden1722 image6755 which1768 thou hast set up.6966

13 Then116 Nebuchadnezzar5020 in his rage7266 and fury2528 commanded560 to bring858 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego.5665 Then116 they brought858 these479 men1400 before6925 the king.4430

14 Nebuchadnezzar5020 spoke6032 and said560 unto them, Is it true,6656 O Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 do383 not3809 ye serve6399 my gods,426 nor3809 worship5457 the golden1722 image6755 which1768 I have set up?6966

15 Now3705 if2006 ye be383 ready6263 that1768 at what1768 time5732 ye hear8086 the sound7032 of the cornet,7162 flute,4953 harp,7030 sackbut,5443 psaltery,6460 and dulcimer,5481 and all3606 kinds2178 of music,2170 ye fall down5308 and worship5457 the image6755 which1768 I have made;5648 well: but if2006 ye worship5457 not,3809 ye shall be cast7412 the same hour8160 into the midst1459 of a burning3345 fiery5135 furnace;861 and who4479 is that1932 God426 that1768 shall deliver7804 you out of4481 my hands?3028

16 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 answered6032 and said560 to the king,4430 O Nebuchadnezzar,5020 we586 are not3809 careful2818 to answer8421 thee in5922 this1836 matter.6600

17 If2006 it be383 so, our God426 whom1768 we586 serve6399 is able3202 to deliver7804 us from4481 the burning3345 fiery5135 furnace,861 and he will deliver7804 us out of4481 thine hand,3028 O king.4430

18 But if2006 not,3809 be1934 it known3046 unto thee, O king,4430 that1768 we will383 not3809 serve6399 thy gods,426 nor3809 worship5457 the golden1722 image6755 which1768 thou hast set up.6966

19 Then116 was Nebuchadnezzar5020 full4391 of fury,2528 and the form6755 of his visage600 was changed8133 against5922 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego:5665 therefore he spoke,6032 and commanded560 that they should heat228 the furnace861 one2298 seven times7655 more5922 than1768 it was wont2370 to be heated.228

20 And he commanded560 the most mighty1401 2429 men1400 that1768 were in his army2429 to bind3729 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 and to cast7412 them into the burning3345 fiery5135 furnace.861

21 Then116 these479 men1400 were bound3729 in their coats,5622 their hosen,6361 and their hats,3737 and their other garments,3831 and were cast7412 into the midst1459 of the burning3345 fiery5135 furnace.861

22 Therefore3606 6903 1836 because4481 1768 the king's4430 commandment4406 was urgent,2685 and the furnace861 exceeding3493 hot,228 the flame7631 of1768 the fire5135 slew6992 those479 men1400 that1768 took up5267 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego.5665

23 And these479 three8532 men,1400 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 fell down5308 bound3729 into the midst1459 of the burning3345 fiery5135 furnace.861

24 Then116 Nebuchadnezzar5020 the king4430 was astonished,8429 and rose up6966 in haste,927 and spoke,6032 and said560 unto his counselors,1907 Did not3809 we cast7412 three8532 men1400 bound3729 into the midst1459 of the fire?5135 They answered6032 and said560 unto the king,4430 True,3330 O king.4430

25 He answered6032 and said,560 Lo,1888 I576 see2370 four703 men1400 loose,8271 walking1981 in the midst1459 of the fire,5135 and they have383 no3809 hurt;2257 and the form7299 of1768 the fourth7244 is like1821 the Son1247 of God.426

26 Then116 Nebuchadnezzar5020 came near7127 to the mouth8651 of the burning3345 fiery5135 furnace,861 and spoke,6032 and said,560 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 ye servants5649 of1768 the most high5943 God,426 come forth,5312 and come858 hither. Then116 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 came forth5312 of4481 the midst1459 of the fire.5135

27 And the princes,324 governors,5460 and captains,6347 and the king's4430 counselors,1907 being gathered together,3673 saw2370 these479 men,1400 upon whose1768 bodies1655 the fire5135 had no power,7981 3809 nor3809 was a hair8177 of their head7217 singed,2761 neither3809 were their coats5622 changed,8133 nor3809 the smell7382 of fire5135 had passed5709 on them.

28 Then Nebuchadnezzar5020 spoke,6032 and said,560 Blessed1289 be the God426 of1768 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 who1768 hath sent7972 his angel,4398 and delivered7804 his servants5649 that1768 trusted7365 in5922 him, and have changed8133 the king's4430 word,4406 and yielded3052 their bodies,1655 that1768 they might not3809 serve6399 nor3809 worship5457 any3606 god,426 except3861 their own God.426

29 Therefore I make4481 7761 a decree,2942 That1768 every3606 people,5972 nation,524 and language,3961 which1768 speak560 any thing amiss7955 against5922 the God426 of1768 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 shall be cut5648 in pieces,1917 and their houses1005 shall be made7739 a dunghill:5122 because3606 6903 1768 there is383 no3809 other321 God426 that1768 can3202 deliver5338 after this sort.1836

30 Then116 the king4430 promoted6744 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 in the province4083 of Babylon.895

2 И послал царь Невухаднецар, чтоб собрались сатрапы, правители областей, градоначальники, блюстители суда, казнохранители, законоведцы, судьи и все областные чиновники, чтобы пришли на освящение истукана, который поставил царь Невухаднецар.

3 И так сатрапы, правители областей, градоначальники, блюстители суда, казнохранители, законоведцы, судьи и все областные чиновники собрались на освящение истукана, который поставил царь Невухаднецар; и стали пред истуканом, который поставил Невухаднецар.

4 Тогда глашатай громко воскликнул: вам объявляется, народы, племена и поколения:

5 Как скоро услышите голос трубы, свирели, цитры, самбуки, псалтири, симфонии и всех музыкальных орудий, падите и поклонитесь золотому истукану, который поставил царь Невухаднецар.

6 А кто не падет и не поклонится, тотчас брошен будет в печь, раскаленную огнем.

7 Вследствие сего, в то самое время, когда услышали все народы голос трубы, свирели, цитры, самбуки, псалтири и всех музыкальных орудий, пали все народы, племена и поколения, поклоняясь золотому истукану, который поставил царь Невухаднецар.

8 Вследствие сего, в то же время подошли халдеи и стали клеветать на Иудеев.

9 Они начали говорить и сказали царю Невухаднецару: живи во веки, царь!

10 Ты, царь, издал повеление, чтоб всякий человек, кто услышит голос трубы, свирели, цитры, самбуки, псалтири, симфонии и всех музыкальных орудий, пал и поклонился золотому истукану;

11 А кто не падет и не поклонится, тот будет брошен в печь, раскаленную огнем.

12 Есть Иудеи, которых ты поставил на службу в вавилонской области, Шадрах, Мешах и Аведнего. Люди сии не оказывают тебе уважения, царь, богам твоим не служат, и золотому истукану, который ты поставил, не кланяются.

13 Тогда Невухаднецар, в гневе и ярости, повелел привести Шадраха, Мешаха и Аведнего; и привели людей сих к царю.

14 Невухадвецар начал говорить и сказал им: с намерения ли это, Шадрах, Мешах и Аведнего, что вы богу моему не служите, и золотому истукану, который я поставил, не поклоняетесь?

15 По крайней мере теперь будьте готовы, чтобы в то же время, как услышите голос трубы, свирели, цитры, самбуки, псалтири, симфонии и всех музыкальных орудий, пасть и поклониться истукану, который я сделал; а если не поклонитесь, то тотчас брошены будете в печь, раскаленную огнем; и кто тот Бог, который избавит вас от руки моей?

16 В ответ на сие Шадрах, Мешах и Аведнего сказали царю Невухаднецару: нет нам пользы на сие определение отвечать тебе.

17 Се! существует Бог наш, Которому мы служим, могущий избавить нас от раскаленной огнем печи; и от твоей руки, царь, Он избавит.

18 А если нет... да будет известно тебе, царь, что богам твоим служить не будем, и золотому истукану, который ты поставил, не поклонимся.

19 Тогда Невухаднецар исполнился гнева, и вид лица его изменился от негодования на Шадраха, Мешаха и Аведнего, и приказал раскалить печь всемеро более против того, как она обыкновенно раскаливалась;

20 И мужам, крепким силою, какие были в войске его, велел связать Шадраха, Мешаха и Аведнего, чтоб бросить в печь, раскаленную огнем.

21 Тогда связаны мужи сии в исподницах своих, в нижнем и верхнем платье своем, и во всем одеянии своем; и брошены в печь, раскаленную огнем.

22 Поелику же царево приказание было грозно, и печь раскалена была чрезмерно; то людей тех, которые поднимали Шадраха, Мешаха и Аведнего, убило пламя огня;

23 А три мужа сии, Шадрах, Мешах и Аведнего, упали в печь, раскаленную огнем, связанные.

24 Тут царь Невухаднецар изумился, и в замешательстве, встал, и сказал советникам своим: не троих ли мы бросили в огонь связанных? Они в ответ царю сказали: так точно, царь.

25 Он сказал на сие: а я вижу четырех несвязанных, ходящих в огне, и вреда им нет; четвертый же видом подобен сыну богов.

26 Тогда приблизился Невухаднецар к жерлу печи, ракаленной огнем, и сказал: Шадрах, Мешах и Аведнего, рабы Всевышнего Бога! выйдите и идите сюда. Тогда Шадрах, Мешах и Аведнего вышли из огня.

27 И собравшиеся сатрапы, начальники областей, и градоначальники, и советники царевы видели сих мужей, что над телами их огонь не взял власти, и волос на голове их не опалился, и платье их не изменилось, и даже запаху огня не было на них.

28 Тогда начал Невухаднецар и сказал: благословен Бог Шадраха, Мешаха и Аведнего, Который послал Ангела Своего, и избавил рабов Своих, потому что они надеялись на Него, и променяли царское повеление, и предали тела свои, чтоб не служить и не кланяться иному богу, кроме Бога своего.

29 Итак дается от меня определение, что во всяком народе, племени и поколении, кто скажет хулу на Бога Шадрахова, Мешахова и Аведнегова, в куски будет изрублен, и дом его превратится в кучу навозную: поелику нет иного бога, который бы мог так спасать.

30 Тогда царь опять возвысил Шадраха, Мешаха и Аведнего в области вавилонской,

10 Ты, царь, издал повеление, чтоб всякий человек, кто услышит голос трубы, свирели, цитры, самбуки, псалтири, симфонии и всех музыкальных орудий, пал и поклонился золотому истукану;

11 And whoso4479 1768 falleth not down5308 3809 and worshipeth,5457 that he should be cast7412 into the midst1459 of a burning3345 fiery5135 furnace.861

11 А кто не падет и не поклонится, тот будет брошен в печь, раскаленную огнем.

13 Тогда Невухаднецар, в гневе и ярости, повелел привести Шадраха, Мешаха и Аведнего; и привели людей сих к царю.

14 Невухадвецар начал говорить и сказал им: с намерения ли это, Шадрах, Мешах и Аведнего, что вы богу моему не служите, и золотому истукану, который я поставил, не поклоняетесь?

16 В ответ на сие Шадрах, Мешах и Аведнего сказали царю Невухаднецару: нет нам пользы на сие определение отвечать тебе.

17 If2006 it be383 so, our God426 whom1768 we586 serve6399 is able3202 to deliver7804 us from4481 the burning3345 fiery5135 furnace,861 and he will deliver7804 us out of4481 thine hand,3028 O king.4430

17 Се! существует Бог наш, Которому мы служим, могущий избавить нас от раскаленной огнем печи; и от твоей руки, царь, Он избавит.

18 But if2006 not,3809 be1934 it known3046 unto thee, O king,4430 that1768 we will383 not3809 serve6399 thy gods,426 nor3809 worship5457 the golden1722 image6755 which1768 thou hast set up.6966

18 А если нет... да будет известно тебе, царь, что богам твоим служить не будем, и золотому истукану, который ты поставил, не поклонимся.

22 Поелику же царево приказание было грозно, и печь раскалена была чрезмерно; то людей тех, которые поднимали Шадраха, Мешаха и Аведнего, убило пламя огня;

23 And these479 three8532 men,1400 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 fell down5308 bound3729 into the midst1459 of the burning3345 fiery5135 furnace.861

23 А три мужа сии, Шадрах, Мешах и Аведнего, упали в печь, раскаленную огнем, связанные.

24 Then116 Nebuchadnezzar5020 the king4430 was astonished,8429 and rose up6966 in haste,927 and spoke,6032 and said560 unto his counselors,1907 Did not3809 we cast7412 three8532 men1400 bound3729 into the midst1459 of the fire?5135 They answered6032 and said560 unto the king,4430 True,3330 O king.4430

24 Тут царь Невухаднецар изумился, и в замешательстве, встал, и сказал советникам своим: не троих ли мы бросили в огонь связанных? Они в ответ царю сказали: так точно, царь.

25 He answered6032 and said,560 Lo,1888 I576 see2370 four703 men1400 loose,8271 walking1981 in the midst1459 of the fire,5135 and they have383 no3809 hurt;2257 and the form7299 of1768 the fourth7244 is like1821 the Son1247 of God.426

25 Он сказал на сие: а я вижу четырех несвязанных, ходящих в огне, и вреда им нет; четвертый же видом подобен сыну богов.

26 Then116 Nebuchadnezzar5020 came near7127 to the mouth8651 of the burning3345 fiery5135 furnace,861 and spoke,6032 and said,560 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 ye servants5649 of1768 the most high5943 God,426 come forth,5312 and come858 hither. Then116 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 came forth5312 of4481 the midst1459 of the fire.5135

26 Тогда приблизился Невухаднецар к жерлу печи, ракаленной огнем, и сказал: Шадрах, Мешах и Аведнего, рабы Всевышнего Бога! выйдите и идите сюда. Тогда Шадрах, Мешах и Аведнего вышли из огня.

27 And the princes,324 governors,5460 and captains,6347 and the king's4430 counselors,1907 being gathered together,3673 saw2370 these479 men,1400 upon whose1768 bodies1655 the fire5135 had no power,7981 3809 nor3809 was a hair8177 of their head7217 singed,2761 neither3809 were their coats5622 changed,8133 nor3809 the smell7382 of fire5135 had passed5709 on them.

27 И собравшиеся сатрапы, начальники областей, и градоначальники, и советники царевы видели сих мужей, что над телами их огонь не взял власти, и волос на голове их не опалился, и платье их не изменилось, и даже запаху огня не было на них.

28 Then Nebuchadnezzar5020 spoke,6032 and said,560 Blessed1289 be the God426 of1768 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 who1768 hath sent7972 his angel,4398 and delivered7804 his servants5649 that1768 trusted7365 in5922 him, and have changed8133 the king's4430 word,4406 and yielded3052 their bodies,1655 that1768 they might not3809 serve6399 nor3809 worship5457 any3606 god,426 except3861 their own God.426

28 Тогда начал Невухаднецар и сказал: благословен Бог Шадраха, Мешаха и Аведнего, Который послал Ангела Своего, и избавил рабов Своих, потому что они надеялись на Него, и променяли царское повеление, и предали тела свои, чтоб не служить и не кланяться иному богу, кроме Бога своего.

29 Therefore I make4481 7761 a decree,2942 That1768 every3606 people,5972 nation,524 and language,3961 which1768 speak560 any thing amiss7955 against5922 the God426 of1768 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 shall be cut5648 in pieces,1917 and their houses1005 shall be made7739 a dunghill:5122 because3606 6903 1768 there is383 no3809 other321 God426 that1768 can3202 deliver5338 after this sort.1836

29 Итак дается от меня определение, что во всяком народе, племени и поколении, кто скажет хулу на Бога Шадрахова, Мешахова и Аведнегова, в куски будет изрублен, и дом его превратится в кучу навозную: поелику нет иного бога, который бы мог так спасать.

30 Then116 the king4430 promoted6744 Shadrach,7715 Meshach,4336 and Abed-nego,5665 in the province4083 of Babylon.895
