12 В то время губернатором Ахаии был Галлион. Некоторые иудеи сообща выступили против Павла и привели его в суд.
13 Они говорили: «Этот человек убеждает людей поклоняться Богу противозаконным образом».
14 И только Павел хотел заговорить, как Галлион сказал иудеям: «Если бы свершилось какое-то злодеяние или преступление, у меня была бы причина выслушать вас, иудеев.
15 Но если всё дело в словах и именах и в вашем собственном законе, то разбирайтесь сами. Я отказываюсь быть судьёй в этом деле».

18 Павел пробыл там ещё немало дней, а потом, оставив братьев, отплыл в Сирию, а Прискилла с Акилой отправились с ним. В Кенхреях он остриг волосы в знак того, что им был дан обет Богу.
19 По прибытии в Ефес Павел оставил Прискиллу с Акилой, а сам пошёл в синагогу, чтобы говорить с иудеями.

26 Аполлос стал смело говорить в синагоге. И когда Прискилла и Акила услышали его, то отвели его к себе домой, и ещё точнее объяснили ему учение Божье.
27 Когда же он захотел отправиться в Ахаию, то братья ободрили его и написали ученикам, чтобы те приняли его. Когда Аполлос прибыл туда, он смог оказать большую помощь тем, кто поверил через благодать Божью.
