1 耶穌言人當祈禱不怠、設譬曰、

2 邑有士師、不畏上帝、不禮世人、

3 有嫠入見曰、有仇我者、請伸我寃、

4 久而不許、後自思曰、我雖不畏上帝、不禮世人、

5 但嫠再三瀆我、必伸其寃、免恆至聒我、

6 主曰、聽不義士師所言、

7 上帝選民、晝夜籲禱、其應或遲、豈不終伸其寃乎、

8 吾語汝、寃之伸也忽焉、人子至、詎見信於世乎、〇

9 有數人自恃爲義、而藐視人、耶穌設譬謂之曰、

10 二人登殿祈禱、一法利賽人、一稅吏、

11 法利賽人獨立祈禱曰、謝上帝、使我不似他人、殘酷、不義、淫惡、亦不似此稅吏、

12 我七日禁食者二、而以所有十輸其一、

13 稅吏遠立、不敢舉目仰天、拊膺曰、我有罪、上帝憐之、

14 吾語汝、此人歸、以義見稱、較彼尤勝、蓋自高者、必降爲卑、自卑者、將升爲高也、〇

15 有人攜孩提、求按於耶穌、門徒見而責之、

16 耶穌呼之來曰、容孩提就我、勿禁、蓋有上帝國者、正如是人也、

17 我誠告爾、凡承上帝國、不如孩提者、不得入也、〇

18 有宰問曰、善哉師也、我當何爲、以得永生、

19 耶穌曰、胡爲以善稱我、無一善者、惟上帝而已、

20 夫諸誡爾所識也、勿行淫、勿殺人、勿攘竊、勿妄證、敬爾父母、

21 對曰、我自幼盡守之矣、

22 耶穌聞其言、曰、猶虧一、悉售所有以濟貧、則必有財於天、且來從我矣、

23 其人聞之、甚憂、巨富故也、

24 耶穌見其憂甚、曰、有財者、入上帝國、難矣哉、

25 駝入針孔、較富人入上帝國、尤易也、

26 聞者曰、然則誰得救乎、

27 曰、人所不能、上帝能之、

28 彼得曰、我儕舍一切從爾、

29 曰、我誠告爾、人爲上帝國、離屋宇、父母、兄弟、妻子、

30 而今世不獲倍蓰、來世不得永生者、未之有也、〇

Chapter 18

1 And he spoke3004 a parable3850 to them to this3588 end, that men ought1163 always3842 to pray,4336 and not to faint;1573

2 Saying,3004 There was in a city4172 a judge,2923 which feared5399 not God,2316 neither3366 regarded1788 man:444

3 And there was a widow5503 in that city;4172 and she came2064 to him, saying,3004 Avenge1556 me of my3450 adversary.476

4 And he would2309 not for a while:5550 but afterward3326 5023 he said2036 within1722 himself,1438 Though1499 I fear5399 not God,2316 nor3756 regard1788 man;444

5 Yet1065 because1223 this5026 widow5503 troubles3930 2873 me, I will avenge1556 her, lest2443 3361 by her continual1519 5056 coming2064 she weary5299 me.

6 And the Lord2962 said,2036 Hear191 what5101 the unjust93 judge2923 said.3004

7 And shall not God2316 avenge4160 his own elect,1588 which3588 cry994 day2250 and night3571 to him, though2532 he bear3114 long3114 with them?

8 I tell3004 you that he will avenge4160 them speedily.1722 5034 Nevertheless4133 when the Son5207 of man444 comes,2064 shall he find2147 faith4102 on1909 the earth?1093

9 And he spoke2036 this5026 parable3850 to certain5100 which3588 trusted3982 in themselves1438 that they were righteous,1342 and despised1848 others:3062

10 Two1417 men444 went305 up into1519 the temple2411 to pray;4336 the one1520 a Pharisee,5330 and the other2087 a publican.5057

11 The Pharisee5330 stood2476 and prayed4336 thus5023 with himself,1438 God,2316 I thank2168 you, that I am1510 not as other3062 men444 are, extortionists,727 unjust,94 adulterers,3432 or2228 even2532 as this3778 publican.5057

12 I fast3522 twice1364 in the week,4521 I give tithes586 of all3956 that I possess.2932

13 And the publican,5057 standing2476 afar3113 off, would2309 not lift1869 up so3761 much3761 as his eyes3788 to heaven,3772 but smote5180 on his breast,4738 saying,3004 God2316 be merciful2433 to me a sinner.268

14 I tell3004 you, this3778 man went2597 down2597 to his house3624 justified1344 rather than2228 the other:1565 for every3956 one that exalts5312 himself1438 shall be abased;5013 and he that humbles5013 himself1438 shall be exalted.5312

15 And they brought4374 to him also2532 infants,1025 that he would touch680 them: but when his disciples3101 saw1492 it, they rebuked2008 them.

16 But Jesus2424 called4341 them to him, and said,2036 Suffer863 little3813 children3813 to come2064 to me, and forbid2967 them not: for of such5108 is the kingdom932 of God.2316

17 Truly281 I say3004 to you, Whoever3739 1437 shall not receive1209 the kingdom932 of God2316 as a little3813 child3813 shall in no3364 wise enter1525 therein.1519 846

18 And a certain5100 ruler758 asked1905 him, saying,3004 Good18 Master,1320 what5101 shall I do4160 to inherit2816 eternal166 life?2222

19 And Jesus2424 said2036 to him, Why5101 call3004 you me good?18 none3762 is good,18 save1508 one,1520 that is, God.2316

20 You know1492 the commandments,1785 Do not commit3431 adultery,3431 Do not kill,5407 Do not steal,2813 Do not bear5576 false5576 witness,5576 Honor5091 your father3962 and your mother.

21 And he said,2036 All3956 these5023 have I kept5442 from my youth3503 up.

22 Now1161 when Jesus2424 heard191 these5023 things, he said2036 to him, Yet2089 lack3007 you one1520 thing: sell4453 all3956 that you have,2192 and distribute1239 to the poor,4434 and you shall have2192 treasure2344 in heaven:3772 and come,1204 follow190 me.

23 And when he heard191 this,5023 he was very4970 sorrowful:4036 for he was very4970 rich.4145

24 And when Jesus2424 saw1492 that he was very4036 sorrowful,4036 he said,2036 How4459 hardly1423 shall they that have2192 riches5536 enter1525 into1519 the kingdom932 of God!2316

25 For it is easier2123 for a camel2574 to go1525 through1223 a needle's4476 eye,5168 than2228 for a rich4145 man to enter1525 into1519 the kingdom932 of God.2316

10 二人登殿祈禱、一法利賽人、一稅吏、

10 Two1417 men444 went305 up into1519 the temple2411 to pray;4336 the one1520 a Pharisee,5330 and the other2087 a publican.5057

18 有宰問曰、善哉師也、我當何爲、以得永生、

18 And a certain5100 ruler758 asked1905 him, saying,3004 Good18 Master,1320 what5101 shall I do4160 to inherit2816 eternal166 life?2222

19 耶穌曰、胡爲以善稱我、無一善者、惟上帝而已、

20 夫諸誡爾所識也、勿行淫、勿殺人、勿攘竊、勿妄證、敬爾父母、

21 對曰、我自幼盡守之矣、

21 And he said,2036 All3956 these5023 have I kept5442 from my youth3503 up.

40 耶穌止、命攜之來、及至問曰、欲我何爲、

40 And Jesus2424 stood,2476 and commanded2753 him to be brought71 to him: and when he was come1448 near,1448 he asked1905 him,

41 曰、主我欲得見、

41 Saying,3004 What5101 will2309 you that I shall do4160 to you? And he said,2036 Lord,2962 that I may receive308 my sight.308

42 耶穌曰、可、爾危愈爾、

42 And Jesus2424 said2036 to him, Receive308 your sight:308 your faith4102 has saved4982 you.

43 趣得見、從耶穌歸榮上帝、衆見是、亦讚美上帝焉、

43 And immediately3916 he received308 his sight,308 and followed190 him, glorifying1392 God:2316 and all3956 the people,2992 when they saw1492 it, gave1325 praise136 to God.2316
