羅馬書

第8章

1 今夫心在基督耶穌、不狥私欲而從聖神者、不定罪、

2 因賴基督耶穌受聖神得生之法、脫我於陷罪致死之法、

3 蓋律法以我情欲、故無力脫我於惡、惟上帝遣己子、身等罪人、以贖人罪、滅吾身之罪、

4 使我不從欲而從神、可盡律法之義、

5 蓋從欲者、體欲之情、從神者、體神之情、

6 體欲之情者死、體神之情者生且安、

7 體欲之情者、不服上帝法、故逆上帝、蓋服法而不能焉、

8 是不能悅於上帝者、從欲也、

9 浸假上帝之神在爾心、則爾不從欲而從神矣、不有基督神者、非其徒也、

10 浸假基督在爾心、則身以罪死、神以義生、

11 浸假甦耶穌者之神在爾心、則甦基督之上帝、以其神牖于爾衷、甦爾死體、〇

12 兄弟乎、我儕非爲欲所役者、豈甘從欲、

13 從欲者死、惟藉聖神以滅吾身情欲、則生、

14 凡爲上帝之神所導者、是爲上帝子、

15 今而後、爾非奴之操心危、所操者乃子之心、龥曰、阿爸父也、

16 卽神在我心、證吾人爲上帝子、

17 旣爲子、卽爲嗣、乃上帝嗣、與基督同爲嗣、同苦者同榮、

18 我謂今時雖苦、然以我中將顯之榮較之、不足爲意也、

19 萬物企望上帝衆子之顯、

20 萬物歸於虛、非其心、蓋有使之者、

21 萬物冀得免於敗壞、弗爲之奴、享上帝衆子之榮而得釋、

22 吾儕知萬物、至今共嘆劬勞、

23 不第此、我儕初得聖神者、亦心歎望衆子之顯、吾身之贖焉、

24 我儕得救在望、旣得所望、則不復望、以旣得之、豈猶有望乎、

25 所望未得、則忍以待、

26 我儕荏弱、聖神助我、我不識所當禱者、聖神以不可言之慨嘆代我禱也、

27 監衆心者、識聖神意、因其代聖徒祈禱、遵上帝旨、

28 我儕知萬事沓來、無非益諸愛上帝者、卽依其旨而見召也、

29 其所知者、則預定效其子、使彼爲衆子中冢子、

30 其所預定者、則召之、所召者、則稱義之、所稱義者、則加榮之、

31 然則何可言耶、若上帝祐我、誰能敵我、

32 不惜己子、爲我衆捨之、豈不以萬物幷賜我歟、

33 誰能訟上帝選民乎、上帝稱義之矣、

34 誰能罪之乎、基督死而復生、居上帝右、恆保我矣、

35 誰能絕我於基督之愛、或患難、或阨窮、或窘逐、或饑餓、裸裎、或艱危、白刃乎、

36 如經云、我緣主終日見殺、如羊就死地、

37 然我賴愛我者、故勝諸事而有餘、

38 蓋我知或死生、或天使、或執政、或有能、或今時將來、

39 或高卑受造之物、皆不能絕我於上帝之愛、要惟賴吾主耶穌基督爲然、〇

Romans

Chapter 8

1 THERE is therefore no condemnation to them who walk in the flesh after the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life which is in Jesus Christ has made you free from the law of sin and death.

3 For the law was weak through the weakness of the flesh, so God sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin, in order to condemn sin by means of his flesh:

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, for we do not walk after the things of the flesh, but after the Spirit.

5 For they who are after the flesh, do mind the things of the flesh; but they who are after the Spirit, do mind the things of the Spirit.

6 To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace;

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, because it cannot be.

8 So then, they who are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit if the Spirit of God truly dwells within you. Now if any man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him.

10 And if Christ is within you, the body is dead because of sin: but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised our LORD Jesus Christ from the dead dwells within you, so he who raised Jesus Christ from the dead will also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells within you.

12 Therefore, my brethren, we are not indebted to the flesh to live after the flesh.

13 For if you live after the flesh, you will die: but if you, through the Spirit, subdue the deeds of the body, you shall live.

14 Those who are led by the Spirit of God, are the sons of God.

15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage, to be in fear again; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Avon, Father, our Father.

16 And this Spirit bears witness to our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Jesus Christ; so that if we suffer with him, we shall also be glorified with him.

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of all mankind waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20 For man was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who gave him free will in the hope he would choose rightly.

21 Because man himself shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors in pain to this day.

23 And not only they, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, that is, the redemption of our bodies.

24 For we live in hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for if we see it, why should we yet hope?

25 But if we hope for that which we do not see, then do we wait for it in patience.

26 Likewise the Spirit also helps our weaknesses: for we do not know what is right and proper for us to pray for: but the Spirit prays for us with that earnestness which cannot be described.

27 And he who searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, for the Spirit prays for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 He knew them in advance and he marked them with the likeness of the image of his Son that he might be the first-born among many brethren.

30 Moreover, those he did mark in advance, he has called, and those he has called, he has declared righteous, and those he has declared righteous, he has glorified.

31 What then shall we say concerning these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32 If he did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, why will he not freely give us all things with him?

33 Who is to complain against the chosen ones of God? It is God who justifies.

34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died and rose again, and he is at the right hand of God making intercession for us.

35 What shall separate me from the love of Christ? tribulation, or imprisonment, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For your sake we die every day, and we are accounted as lambs for the slaughter.

37 But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor empires, nor armies, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Jesus Christ our LORD.

5 蓋從欲者、體欲之情、從神者、體神之情、	5 For they who are after the flesh, do mind the things of the flesh; but they who are after the Spirit, do mind the things of the Spirit.
6 體欲之情者死、體神之情者生且安、	6 To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace;
7 體欲之情者、不服上帝法、故逆上帝、蓋服法而不能焉、	7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, because it cannot be.
8 是不能悅於上帝者、從欲也、	8 So then, they who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 浸假上帝之神在爾心、則爾不從欲而從神矣、不有基督神者、非其徒也、	9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit if the Spirit of God truly dwells within you. Now if any man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him.
10 浸假基督在爾心、則身以罪死、神以義生、	10 And if Christ is within you, the body is dead because of sin: but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 浸假甦耶穌者之神在爾心、則甦基督之上帝、以其神牖于爾衷、甦爾死體、〇	11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised our LORD Jesus Christ from the dead dwells within you, so he who raised Jesus Christ from the dead will also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells within you.
12 兄弟乎、我儕非爲欲所役者、豈甘從欲、	12 Therefore, my brethren, we are not indebted to the flesh to live after the flesh.
13 從欲者死、惟藉聖神以滅吾身情欲、則生、	13 For if you live after the flesh, you will die: but if you, through the Spirit, subdue the deeds of the body, you shall live.
14 凡爲上帝之神所導者、是爲上帝子、	14 Those who are led by the Spirit of God, are the sons of God.
15 今而後、爾非奴之操心危、所操者乃子之心、龥曰、阿爸父也、	15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage, to be in fear again; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Avon, Father, our Father.

18 我謂今時雖苦、然以我中將顯之榮較之、不足爲意也、	18 For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 萬物企望上帝衆子之顯、	19 For the earnest expectation of all mankind waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 萬物歸於虛、非其心、蓋有使之者、	20 For man was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who gave him free will in the hope he would choose rightly.
21 萬物冀得免於敗壞、弗爲之奴、享上帝衆子之榮而得釋、	21 Because man himself shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

28 我儕知萬事沓來、無非益諸愛上帝者、卽依其旨而見召也、	28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 其所知者、則預定效其子、使彼爲衆子中冢子、	29 He knew them in advance and he marked them with the likeness of the image of his Son that he might be the first-born among many brethren.
30 其所預定者、則召之、所召者、則稱義之、所稱義者、則加榮之、	30 Moreover, those he did mark in advance, he has called, and those he has called, he has declared righteous, and those he has declared righteous, he has glorified.
31 然則何可言耶、若上帝祐我、誰能敵我、	31 What then shall we say concerning these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 不惜己子、爲我衆捨之、豈不以萬物幷賜我歟、	32 If he did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, why will he not freely give us all things with him?
33 誰能訟上帝選民乎、上帝稱義之矣、	33 Who is to complain against the chosen ones of God? It is God who justifies.
34 誰能罪之乎、基督死而復生、居上帝右、恆保我矣、	34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died and rose again, and he is at the right hand of God making intercession for us.
35 誰能絕我於基督之愛、或患難、或阨窮、或窘逐、或饑餓、裸裎、或艱危、白刃乎、	35 What shall separate me from the love of Christ? tribulation, or imprisonment, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
