以弗所書

第1章

1 奉神旨意，作耶穌基督［Jesus Christ］使徒的保羅，寫信給在以弗所的聖徒，並［and］在基督耶穌裏有忠心的人；

2 願恩典［Grace］、平安從神我們的父和主耶穌基督歸與你們。

3 願頌讚歸與我們主耶穌基督的父神。他在基督裏曾賜給我們天上一切［all］屬靈的福氣：

4 就如神從創立世界以前，在基督裏揀選了我們，使我們於愛裏［in love］在他面前成為聖潔，無可指摘［without blame］；

5 又因愛我們，就按著自己意旨所喜悅的，預定我們藉著耶穌基督得兒女［children］的名分，

6 使他榮耀的恩典得著稱讚，這恩典是他在愛子裏使我們得蒙接納［made us accepted］的。

7 我們藉這愛子的血得蒙救贖，罪過［sins］得以饒恕［forgiveness］，乃是照他豐富的恩典。

8 這恩典是神用諸般智慧聰明，充充足足賞給我們的；

9 都是照他自己所預定的美意，叫我們知道他旨意的奧秘，

10 要照所安排的，在日期滿足的時候，使天上、地上、一切所有的都在基督裏面同歸於一。

11 我們也在他裏面得了［obtained］基業；這原是那位隨己意行、作一切事［all things］的，照著他自己的［own］旨意所預定的，

12 叫他的榮耀從我們這首先信靠基督［trusted in christ］的人可以得著稱讚。

13 你們既聽見真理的道，就是那叫你們得救的福音，也信了基督，既然信他，就受了所應許的聖靈為印記。

14 這［Which］是我們得基業的憑據［earnest］，直等到所買的產業［the purchased possession］被贖，使他的榮耀得著稱讚。

15 因此，我既聽見你們信從主耶穌，親愛眾聖徒，

16 就為你們不住的感謝神。禱告的時候，常提到你們，

17 求我們主耶穌基督的神，榮耀的父，將那賜人智慧和啟示的靈賞給你們，使你們真知道他，

18 並且照明你們悟性［understanding］的眼睛；使你們知道他的恩召有何等盼望［hope］，他在聖徒中得的基業有何等豐盛的榮耀，

19 並知道他向我們這信的人所顯的能力是何等浩大，

20 就是照他在基督身上所運行的大能大力，使他從死裏復活，叫他在天上坐在自己的右邊，

21 遠超過一切執政的、掌權的、有能的、主治的，和一切有名的；不但是今世的，連來世的也都超過了。

22 又將一切［all things］服在他的腳下，使他為教會作一切［all things］之首。

23 教會是他的身體，是那充滿一切［all］者所充滿的。

Ephesians

Chapter 1

1 PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to those who are in Eph'e-sus, saints and believers in Jesus Christ:

2 Peace be with you and grace from God our Father, and from our LORD Jesus Christ:

3 Blessed be the God, and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heaven through Christ:

4 Just as from the beginning he has chosen us through him, before the foundation of the world, that we may become holy and without blemish before him.

5 And he marked us with his love to be his from the beginning, and adopted us to be sons through Jesus Christ, as it pleased his will.

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace that he has poured upon us by his beloved one.

7 In him we have salvation, and in his blood, forgiveness of sins, according to the richness of his grace;

8 That that grace which has abounded in us, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

9 And because he has made known to us the mystery of his will, as he has ordained from the very beginning, to work through it;

10 As a dispensation of the fulness of times, that all things might be made new in heaven and on earth through Christ:

11 By whom we have been chosen, as he had marked us from the beginning so he wanted to carry out everything according to the good judgment of his will:

12 That we should become the first to trust in Christ, to his honor and his glory:

13 In whom, you also have heard the word of truth, which is the gospel for your salvation: in him you have believed, so you are sealed with the Holy Spirit that was promised,

14 Which is the pledge of our inheritance, for the salvation of those who are saved, and for the glory of his honour.

15 Wherefore I also, since I heard of your faith in our LORD Jesus Christ, and your love toward all the saints,

16 Never cease to give thanks for your sakes and to mention you in my prayers;

17 So that the God of our LORD Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

18 And so that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the glorious riches of his inheritance in the saints;

19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power in us as the result of the things we believe, according to the skill of his mighty power,

20 Which he wrought through Christ, when he raised him from the dead and set him at his own right hand in heaven,

21 Far above all angels and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in the world which is to come:

22 And has put all things under his feet, and made him, who is above all things, the head of the church,

23 Which is his body, and confirmation of him who fulfills all things and every thing.

3 願頌讚歸與我們主耶穌基督的父神。他在基督裏曾賜給我們天上一切［all］屬靈的福氣：	3 Blessed be the God, and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heaven through Christ:
4 就如神從創立世界以前，在基督裏揀選了我們，使我們於愛裏［in love］在他面前成為聖潔，無可指摘［without blame］；	4 Just as from the beginning he has chosen us through him, before the foundation of the world, that we may become holy and without blemish before him.
5 又因愛我們，就按著自己意旨所喜悅的，預定我們藉著耶穌基督得兒女［children］的名分，	5 And he marked us with his love to be his from the beginning, and adopted us to be sons through Jesus Christ, as it pleased his will.
6 使他榮耀的恩典得著稱讚，這恩典是他在愛子裏使我們得蒙接納［made us accepted］的。	6 To the praise of the glory of his grace that he has poured upon us by his beloved one.

11 我們也在他裏面得了［obtained］基業；這原是那位隨己意行、作一切事［all things］的，照著他自己的［own］旨意所預定的，	11 By whom we have been chosen, as he had marked us from the beginning so he wanted to carry out everything according to the good judgment of his will:
12 叫他的榮耀從我們這首先信靠基督［trusted in christ］的人可以得著稱讚。	12 That we should become the first to trust in Christ, to his honor and his glory:
13 你們既聽見真理的道，就是那叫你們得救的福音，也信了基督，既然信他，就受了所應許的聖靈為印記。	13 In whom, you also have heard the word of truth, which is the gospel for your salvation: in him you have believed, so you are sealed with the Holy Spirit that was promised,

16 就為你們不住的感謝神。禱告的時候，常提到你們，	16 Never cease to give thanks for your sakes and to mention you in my prayers;
17 求我們主耶穌基督的神，榮耀的父，將那賜人智慧和啟示的靈賞給你們，使你們真知道他，	17 So that the God of our LORD Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
