7 Der3739 Kranke770 antwortete611 ihm846: HErr2962, ich1473 habe2192 keinen3756 Menschen, wenn3752 das2443 Wasser5204 sich beweget, der mich1700 in1519 den444 Teich2861 lasse; und1161 wenn ich komme2064, so steiget ein anderer243 vor906 mir3165 hinein2597.

7 The weak770 man answered611 him, Sir,2962 I have2192 no3756 man,444 when3752 the water5204 is troubled,5015 to put906 me into1519 the pool:2861 but while1722 3739 I am coming,2064 another243 steps2597 down2597 before4253 me.

10 Da3767 sprachen3004 die Juden2453 zu dem, der gesund2323 war worden: Es ist2076 heute Sabbat4521; es ziemt1832 dir4671 nicht3756, das Bett2895 zu tragen142.

10 The Jews2453 therefore3767 said3004 to him that was cured,2323 It is the sabbath4521 day: it is not lawful1832 for you to carry142 your bed.2895

12 Da3767 fragten2065 sie846 ihn: Wer5101 ist2076 der3588 Mensch444, der zu dir4671 gesagt2036 hat: Nimm142 dein4675 Bett2895 und2532 gehe hin4043?

12 Then3767 asked2065 they him, What3739 man444 is that which3588 said2036 to you, Take142 up your bed,2895 and walk?4043

13 Der aber1161 gesund2390 war5607 worden, wußte1492 nicht3756, wer5101 er2076 war; denn1063 JEsus2424 war gewichen1593, da so viel Volks3793 an1722 dem Ort5117 war.

13 And he that was healed2390 knew1492 not who5101 it was: for Jesus2424 had conveyed1593 himself away,1593 a multitude3793 being5607 in that place.5117

14 Danach fand2147 ihn846 Jesus2424 im Tempel2411 und2532 sprach2036 zu1722 ihm846: Siehe2396 zu, du bist1096 gesund5199 worden; sündige264 hinfort3371 nicht mehr, daß3363 dir4671 nicht etwas5100 Ärgeres widerfahre!

14 Afterward3326 5023 Jesus2424 finds2147 him in the temple,2411 and said2036 to him, Behold,2396 you are made1096 whole:5199 sin264 no3371 more,3371 lest2443 3361 a worse5501 thing come1096 to you.

15 Der Mensch444 ging565 hin und2532 verkündigte312 es3754 den3588 Juden2453, es sei2076 JEsus2424, der ihn846 gesund5199 gemacht4160 habe.

15 The man444 departed,565 and told312 the Jews2453 that it was Jesus,2424 which3588 had made4160 him whole.5199

16 Darum3754 verfolgten1377 die Juden2453 JEsum und2532 suchten2212 ihn846 zu1722 töten615, daß5124 er2424 solches5023 getan4160 hatte auf den Sabbat4521.
|
16 And therefore1223 5124 did the Jews2453 persecute1377 Jesus,2424 and sought2212 to slay615 him, because3754 he had done4160 these5023 things on1722 the sabbath4521 day.

17 JEsus2424 aber1161 antwortete611 ihnen846: Mein3450 Vater3962 wirket2038 bisher, und2504 ich737 wirke auch.

17 But Jesus2424 answered611 them, My Father3962 works2038 till now,2193 737 and I work.2038
|
|
18 Darum trachteten ihm die Juden2453 nun3767 viel mehr3123 nach, daß3754 sie ihn töteten615, daß er846 nicht3756 allein3440 den Sabbat4521 brach3089, sondern235 sagte3004 auch2532, GOtt2316 sei sein2398 Vater3962, und2212 machte4160 sich selbst1438 GOtt2316 gleich2470.

18 Therefore1223 5124 the Jews2453 sought2212 the more3123 to kill615 him, because3754 he not only3440 had broken3089 the sabbath,4521 but said3004 also2532 that God2316 was his Father,3962 making4160 himself1438 equal2470 with God.2316

19 Da2532 antwortete611 JEsus2424 und2532 sprach2036 zu991 ihnen1438: Wahrlich281, wahrlich281, ich302 sage3004 euch5213, der1565 Sohn kann1410 nichts3756 von575 ihm selber tun4160, denn3767 was er846 siehet den Vater3962 tun4160; denn3362 was derselbige tut4160, das1063 tut4160 gleich3668 auch5100 der Sohn.

20 Der Vater3962 aber2532 hat1166 den Sohn lieb5368 und1063 zeiget ihm846 alles3956, was3739 er846 tut4160, und2532 wird ihm noch größere3187 Werke2041 zeigen1166, daß3187 ihr846 euch5210 verwundern2296 werdet.

20 For the Father3962 loves5368 the Son,5207 and shows1166 him all3956 things that himself846 does:4160 and he will show1166 him greater3187 works2041 than these,5130 that you may marvel.2296

21 Denn1063 wie5618 der Vater3962 die3739 Toten3498 auferweckt und2532 machet sie lebendig2227, also3779 auch2532 der Sohn machet lebendig2227, welche er will1453.
|
21 For as the Father3962 raises1453 up the dead,3498 and vivifies2227 them; even2532 so3779 the Son5207 vivifies2227 whom3739 he will.2309

22 Denn der Vater3962 richtet2919 niemand3762, sondern235 alles3956 Gericht2920 hat er dem Sohn gegeben1325,

22 For the Father3962 judges2919 no3762 man,3762 but has committed1325 all3956 judgment2920 to the Son:5207
|
|
23 auf daß2443 sie846 alle3956 den3588 Sohn ehren5091, wie2531 sie den Vater3962 ehren5091. Wer den Sohn nicht3361 ehret, der ehret den Vater3962 nicht3756, der ihn gesandt3992 hat.
|
23 That all3956 men should honor5091 the Son,5207 even2531 as they honor5091 the Father.3962 He that honors5091 not the Son5207 honors5091 not the Father3962 which3588 has sent3992 him.
|
|
24 Wahrlich281, wahrlich281, ich sage3004 euch: Wer mein3450 Wort3056 höret191 und2532 glaubet4100 dem, der mich3165 gesandt3992 hat2192, der hat das ewige166 Leben2222 und2532 kommt2064 nicht3756 in1519 das Gericht2920, sondern235 er ist2064 vom1537 Tode2288 zum1519 Leben2222 hindurchgedrungen3327.

24 Truly,281 truly,281 I say3004 to you, He that hears191 my word,3056 and believes4100 on him that sent3992 me, has2192 everlasting166 life,2222 and shall not come2064 into1519 condemnation;2920 but is passed3327 from death2288 to life.2222

25 Wahrlich281, wahrlich281, ich sage3004 euch: Es kommt2064 die Stunde5610 und2532 ist2076 schon jetzt3568, daß3753 die Toten3498 werden die Stimme5456 des Sohnes Gottes2316 hören191; und2532 die sie hören191 werden, die werden leben2198.

26 For as the Father3962 has2192 life2222 in himself;1438 so3779 has he given1325 to the Son5207 to have2192 life2222 in himself;1438
|
|
27 Und2532 hat4160 ihm Macht1849 gegeben1325, auch2532 das Gericht2920 zu halten, darum daß3754 er846 des Menschen444 Sohn ist2076.
|
27 And has given1325 him authority1849 to execute4160 judgment2920 also,2532 because3754 he is the Son5207 of man.444

28 Verwundert2296 euch des nicht3361; denn3754 es5124 kommt2064 die Stunde5610, in1722 welcher3739 alle3956, die in1722 den Gräbern3419 sind, werden seine846 Stimme5456 hören191

28 Marvel2296 not at this:5124 for the hour5610 is coming,2064 in the which3739 all3956 that are in the graves3419 shall hear191 his voice,5456

29 und2532 werden hervorgehen1607, die da Gutes18 getan4160 haben4238, zur1519 Auferstehung386 des Lebens2222, die aber1161 Übels getan haben, zur1519 Auferstehung386 des Gerichts2920.
|
29 And shall come1607 forth;1607 they that have done4160 good,18 to the resurrection386 of life;2222 and they that have done4238 evil,5337 to the resurrection386 of damnation.2920

|
30 Ich1473 kann1410 nichts3762 von575 mir1683 selber tun4160. Wie2531 ich höre191, so richte2919 ich, und2532 mein1699 Gericht2920 ist2076 recht1342; denn3754 ich suche2212 nicht meinen1699 Willen2307, sondern235 des Vaters3962 Willen2307, der3739 mich3165 gesandt3992 hat.

30 I can1410 of my1683 own self1683 do4160 nothing:3756 3762 as I hear,191 I judge:2919 and my judgment2920 is just;1342 because3754 I seek2212 not my1699 own will,2307 but the will2307 of the Father3962 which3739 has sent3992 me.

31 So1437 ich1473 von4012 mir1683 selbst zeuge3140, so ist2076 mein3450 Zeugnis3141 nicht3756 wahr227.
|
31 If1437 I bear3140 witness3140 of myself,1683 my witness3141 is not true.227
|
|
32 Ein anderer243 ist‘s2076, der von4012 mir1700 zeuget3140; und2532 ich weiß, daß3754 das1492 Zeugnis3141 wahr227 ist2076, das3739 er von4012 mir1700 zeuget3140.
|
32 There is another243 that bears3140 witness3140 of me; and I know1492 that the witness3141 which3739 he witnesses3140 of me is true.227
|
|
33 Ihr5210 schicktet zu649 Johannes2491, und2532 er4314 zeugete von der Wahrheit225.
|
33 You sent649 to John,2491 and he bore3140 witness3140 to the truth.225
|
|
34 Ich1473 aber1161 nehme2983 nicht3756 Zeugnis3141 von3844 Menschen444, sondern235 solches5023 sage3004 ich, auf daß2443 ihr5210 selig4982 werdet.

34 But I receive2983 not testimony3141 from man:444 but these5023 things I say,3004 that you might be saved.4982

35 Er1565 war2258 ein brennend2545 und2532 scheinend5316 Licht3088; ihr5210 aber1161 wolltet2309 eine4314 kleine Weile5610 fröhlich21 sein846 von1722 seinem Licht5457.

35 He was a burning2545 and a shining5316 light:3088 and you were willing2309 for a season5610 to rejoice21 in his light.5457
|
|
36 Ich1473 aber1161 habe2192 ein größer Zeugnis3141 denn3187 des846 Johannes2491 Zeugnis; denn1063 die3739 Werke2041, die3739 mir1700 der Vater3962 gegeben1325 hat4160, daß2443 ich1473 sie846 vollende5048, dieselbigen Werke2041, die ich tue, zeugen3140 von4012 mir3165, daß3754 mich3427 der Vater3962 gesandt649 habe.

36 But I have2192 greater3187 witness3141 than that of John:2491 for the works2041 which3739 the Father3962 has given1325 me to finish,5048 the same846 works2041 that I do,4160 bear3140 witness3140 of me, that the Father3962 has sent649 me.

37 Und2532 der Vater3962, der mich1700 gesandt3992 hat3140, derselbige hat191 von4012 mir3165 gezeuget. Ihr846 habt191 nie4455 weder3777 seine846 Stimme5456 gehöret noch3777 seine846 Gestalt1491 gesehen3708.

37 And the Father3962 himself,846 which has sent3992 me, has borne witness3140 of me. You have neither3777 heard191 his voice5456 at4455 any4455 time,4455 nor3777 seen3708 his shape.1491

|
38 Und2532 sein Wort3056 habt2192 ihr846 nicht3756 in1722 euch5213 wohnend3306; denn3754 ihr5210 glaubet4100 dem1565 nicht3756, den er gesandt hat649.
|
38 And you have2192 not his word3056 abiding3306 in you: for whom3739 he has sent,649 him you believe4100 not.
|
|
39 Suchet2045 in1722 der1565 Schrift1124; denn3754 ihr846 meinet1380, ihr5210 habt2192 das ewige166 Leben2222 darinnen; und2532 sie ist‘s1526, die von4012 mir1700 zeuget3140.
|
39 Search2045 the scriptures;1124 for in them you think1380 you have2192 eternal166 life:2222 and they are they which testify3140 of me.
|
|
40 Und2532 ihr wollt2309 nicht3756 zu4314 mir3165 kommen2064, daß2443 ihr das Leben2222 haben2192 möchtet.
|
40 And you will2309 not come2064 to me, that you might have2192 life.2222
|
|
41 Ich nehme2983 nicht3756 Ehre1391 von3844 Menschen444.
|
41 I receive2983 not honor1391 from men.444
|
|
42 Aber235 ich kenne euch5209, daß3754 ihr1097 nicht3756 Gottes2316 Liebe26 in1722 euch1438 habt2192.
|
42 But I know1097 you, that you have2192 not the love26 of God2316 in you.
|
|
43 Ich1473 bin kommen2064 in1722 meines3450 Vaters3962 Namen3686, und2532 ihr nehmet2983 mich3165 nicht3756 an. So1437 ein anderer243 wird in seinem2398 eigenen Namen3686 kommen2064, den1565 werdet ihr annehmen.

43 I am come2064 in my Father's3962 name,3686 and you receive2983 me not: if1437 another243 shall come2064 in his own2398 name,3686 him you will receive.2983

|
44 Wie4459 könnet ihr5210 glauben4100, die ihr Ehre1391 voneinander nehmet2983? Und2532 die Ehre1391, die von GOtt2316 allein3441 ist1410, suchet2212 ihr nicht3756.
|
44 How4459 can1410 you believe,4100 which receive2983 honor1391 one240 of another,240 and seek2212 not the honor1391 that comes from God2316 only?3441
|
|
45 Ihr5210 sollt nicht3361 meinen1380, daß3754 ich1473 euch5216 vor4314 dem3739 Vater3962 verklagen2723 werde. Es ist2076 einer, der euch5216 verklaget, der Mose3475, auf1519 welchen ihr hoffet1679.
|
45 Do4160 not think1380 that I will accuse2723 you to the Father:3962 there is one that accuses2723 you, even Moses,3475 in whom3739 you trust.1679

46 Wenn1487 ihr4100 Mose3475 glaubtet, so glaubtet ihr4100 auch302 mir1698; denn er1565 hat von4012 mir1700 geschrieben1125.
|
46 For had you believed4100 Moses,3475 you would have2192 believed4100 me; for he wrote1125 of me.
|
|
47 So1487 ihr4100 aber1161 seinen1565 Schriften1121 nicht3756 glaubet, wie4459 werdet ihr meinen1699 Worten4487 glauben4100?
|
47 But if1487 you believe4100 not his writings,1121 how4459 shall you believe4100 my words?4487
