1 這樣說來，猶太人有甚麼長處？割禮有甚麼益處呢？
|
|
2 Much4183 every3956 way:5158 chiefly,4412 because3754 that to them were committed4100 the oracles3051 of God.2316
|
2 凡事大有好處；第一要緊的［chiefly］，是因為［because］神的聖言交託他們。
|
|
3 For what5101 if1487 some5100 did not believe?569 shall their unbelief570 make2673 the faith4102 of God2316 without2673 effect?2673
|
3 即便有不信的，這有何妨呢？難道他們的不信就廢掉神的信嗎？
|
|
4 God3361 1096 forbid:3361 1096 yes,1161 let God2316 be true,227 but every3956 man444 a liar;5583 as it is written,1125 That you might be justified1344 in your sayings,3056 and might overcome3528 when1723 3588 you are judged.2919
|
4 神［God］斷乎不能。不如說，神是真實的，人都是虛謊的。如經上所記：你責備人的時候，顯為公義；被人議論的時候，可以得勝。

|
5 But if1487 our unrighteousness93 commend4921 the righteousness1343 of God,2316 what5101 shall we say?2046 Is God2316 unrighteous94 who3588 takes2018 vengeance?3709 (I speak3004 as a man)444
|
5 （我且照著人的常話說）我們的不義若顯出神的義來，我們可以怎麼說呢？神施行報應［taketh vengeance］，是他不義嗎？
|
|
6 God3361 1096 forbid:3361 1096 for then how4459 shall God2316 judge2919 the world?2889
|
6 神［God］斷乎不是。若是這樣，神怎能審判世界呢？
|
|
7 For if1487 the truth225 of God2316 has more abounded4052 through1722 my lie5582 to his glory;1391 why5101 yet2089 am I also2504 judged2919 as a sinner?268
|
7 若神的真理［the truth］，因我的虛謊越發顯出他的榮耀，為甚麼我還受審判，好像罪人呢？
|
|
8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously987 reported,987 and as some5100 affirm5346 that we say,3004) Let us do4160 evil,2556 that good18 may come?2064 whose3739 damnation2917 is just.1738
|
8 為甚麼不說，我們可以作惡以成善呢？（這是毀謗我們的人說我們有這話。）這等人受咒詛［damnation］是該當的。
|
|
9 What5101 then?3767 are we better4284 than they? No,3756 in no3843 wise:3843 for we have2192 before4256 proved4256 both5037 Jews2453 and Gentiles,1672 that they are all3956 under5259 sin;266
|
9 這卻怎麼樣呢？我們比他們強麼？決不是的。因我們已經證明，猶太人和外邦人［Gentiles］都在罪惡之下。
|
|
10 As it is written,1125 There is none3756 righteous,1342 no, not one:1520
|
10 就如經上所記：沒有義人，連一個也沒有。
|
|
11 There is none3756 that understands,4920 there is none3756 that seeks1567 after1567 God.2316
|
11 沒有明白的；沒有尋求神的；
|
|
12 They are all3956 gone1578 out of the way, they are together260 become889 unprofitable;889 there is none3756 that does4160 good,5544 no, not one.1520
|
12 都是偏離正路，一同變為無用。沒有行善的，連一個也沒有。
|
|
13 Their throat2995 is an open455 sepulcher;5028 with their tongues1100 they have used1387 deceit;1387 the poison2447 of asps785 is under5259 their lips:5491
|
13 他們的喉嚨是敞開的墳墓；他們用舌頭弄詭詐，嘴唇裏有毒蛇的毒液［poison of asps］，
|
|
14 Whose3739 mouth4750 is full1073 of cursing685 and bitterness:4088
|
14 滿口是咒罵苦毒。
|
|
15 Their feet4228 are swift3691 to shed1632 blood:129
|
15 殺人流血，他們的腳飛跑，
|
|
16 Destruction4938 and misery5004 are in their ways:3598
|
16 他們［their］所經過的路便行毀滅和苦難［Destruction and misery］的事。
|
|
17 And the way3598 of peace1515 have they not known:1097
|
17 平安的路，他們未曾知道；
|
|
18 There is no3756 fear5401 of God2316 before561 their eyes.3788
|
18 他們眼中不怕神。
|
|
19 Now1161 we know1492 that what3745 things soever1437 the law3551 said,3004 it said2980 to them who are under1722 the law:3551 that every3956 mouth4750 may be stopped,5420 and all3956 the world2889 may become1096 guilty5267 before God.2316
|
19 我們曉得律法上的話都是對律法以下之人說的，好塞住各人的口，叫普世的人都在神面前顯為有罪［become guilty before God］。
|
|
20 Therefore1360 by the deeds2041 of the law3551 there shall no3756 3956 flesh4561 be justified1344 in his sight:1799 for by the law3551 is the knowledge1922 of sin.266
|
20 所以凡有血氣的，沒有一個因行律法能在神眼［sight］前稱義，因為律法本是叫人知罪。
|
|
21 But now3568 the righteousness1343 of God2316 without5565 the law3551 is manifested,5319 being witnessed3140 by the law3551 and the prophets;4396
|
21 但如今，神的義在律法以外已經顯明出來，有律法和先知為證：
|
|
22 Even1161 the righteousness1343 of God2316 which is by faith4102 of Jesus2424 Christ5547 to all3956 and on all3956 them that believe:4100 for there is no3756 difference:1293
|
22 就是神的義，因信耶穌基督加給一切相信的人，並沒有分別。
|
|
23 For all3956 have sinned,264 and come5302 short5302 of the glory1391 of God;2316
|
23 因為世人都犯了罪，虧缺了神的榮耀；
|
|
24 Being justified1344 freely1432 by his grace5485 through1223 the redemption629 that is in Christ5547 Jesus:2424
|
24 如今卻蒙神的恩典，因基督耶穌的救贖，就白白的稱義。
|
|
25 Whom3739 God2316 has set4388 forth4388 to be a propitiation2435 through1223 faith4102 in his blood,129 to declare1732 his righteousness1343 for the remission3929 of sins265 that are past,4266 through1722 the forbearance463 of God;2316
|
25 神設立耶穌作挽回祭，是憑著耶穌的血，藉著人的信，要顯明神的義；因為他用忍耐的心赦免［remission］人先時所犯的罪，
|
|
26 To declare,1732 I say, at1722 this3588 3568 time2540 his righteousness:1343 that he might be just,1342 and the justifier1344 of him which believes1537 4102 in Jesus.2424
|
26 好在今時顯明他的義，使人知道他自己為義，也稱信耶穌的人為義。
|
|
27 Where4226 is boasting2746 then?3767 It is excluded.1576 By what4169 law?3551 of works?2041 No:3780 but by the law3551 of faith.4102
|
27 既是這樣，哪裏能誇口呢？沒有可誇的了。用何法沒有的呢？是用立功之法嗎？不是，乃用信主之法。
|
|
28 Therefore3767 we conclude3049 that a man444 is justified1344 by faith4102 without5565 the deeds2041 of the law.3551
|
28 所以［Therefore］我們看定了：人稱義是因著信，不在乎遵行律法。
|
|
29 Is he the God2316 of the Jews2453 only?3440 is he not also2532 of the Gentiles?1484 Yes,3483 of the Gentiles1484 also:2532
|
29 難道神只作猶太人的神嗎？不也是作外邦人的神嗎？是的，也作外邦人的神。
|
|
30 Seeing1897 it is one1520 God,2316 which3739 shall justify1344 the circumcision4061 by faith,4102 and uncircumcision203 through1223 faith.4102
|
30 神既是一位，他就要因信稱那受割禮的為義，也要因信稱那未受割禮的為義。
|
|
31 Do we then3767 make2673 void2673 the law3551 through1223 faith?4102 God3336 1096 forbid:3361 1096 yes,235 we establish2476 the law.3551
|
31 這樣，我們因信廢了律法嗎？神［God］斷乎不是。更是堅固律法。
