1 And Joshua3091 gathered622 853 all3605 the tribes7626 of Israel3478 to Shechem,7927 and called7121 for the elders2205 of Israel,3478 and for their heads,7218 and for their judges,8199 and for their officers;7860 and they presented themselves3320 before6440 God.430

2 And Joshua3091 said559 unto413 all3605 the people,5971 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel,3478 Your fathers1 dwelt3427 on the other side5676 of the flood5104 in old time,4480 5769 even Terah,8646 the father1 of Abraham,85 and the father1 of Nachor:5152 and they served5647 other312 gods.430

3 And I took3947 853 your father1 853 Abraham85 from the other side4480 5676 of the flood,5104 and led1980 him throughout all3605 the land776 of Canaan,3667 and multiplied7235 853 his seed,2233 and gave5414 him853 Isaac.3327

4 And I gave5414 unto Isaac3327 853 Jacob3290 and Esau:6215 and I gave5414 unto Esau6215 853 mount2022 Seir,8165 to possess3423 it; but Jacob3290 and his children1121 went down3381 into Egypt.4714

5 I sent7971 853 Moses4872 also and Aaron,175 and I plagued5062 853 Egypt,4714 according to that which834 I did6213 among7130 them: and afterward310 I brought you out.3318 853

6 And I brought your fathers out3318 853 1 of Egypt:4480 4714 and ye came935 unto the sea;3220 and the Egyptians4714 pursued7291 after310 your fathers1 with chariots7393 and horsemen6571 unto the Red5488 sea.3220

8 And I brought935 you into413 the land776 of the Amorites,567 which dwelt3427 on the other side5676 Jordan;3383 and they fought3898 with854 you: and I gave5414 them into your hand,3027 that ye might possess3423 853 their land;776 and I destroyed8045 them from before4480 6440 you.

9 Then Balak1111 the son1121 of Zippor,6834 king4428 of Moab,4124 arose6965 and warred3898 against Israel,3478 and sent7971 and called7121 Balaam1109 the son1121 of Beor1160 to curse7043 you:

10 But I would14 not3808 hearken8085 unto Balaam;1109 therefore he blessed1288 1288 you still: so I delivered5337 you out of his hand.4480 3027

11 And ye went over5674 853 Jordan,3383 and came935 unto413 Jericho:3405 and the men1167 of Jericho3405 fought3898 against you, the Amorites,567 and the Perizzites,6522 and the Canaanites,3669 and the Hittites,2850 and the Girgashites,1622 the Hivites,2340 and the Jebusites;2983 and I delivered5414 them into your hand.3027

12 And I sent7971 853 the hornet6880 before6440 you, which drove them out1644 853 from before4480 6440 you, even the two8147 kings4428 of the Amorites;567 but not3808 with thy sword,2719 nor3808 with thy bow.7198

13 And I have given5414 you a land776 for which834 ye did not3808 labor,3021 and cities5892 which834 ye built1129 not,3808 and ye dwell3427 in them; of the vineyards3754 and oliveyards2132 which834 ye planted5193 not3808 do ye859 eat.398

14 Now therefore6258 fear3372 853 the LORD,3068 and serve5647 him in sincerity8549 and in truth:571 and put away5493 853 the gods430 which834 your fathers1 served5647 on the other side5676 of the flood,5104 and in Egypt;4714 and serve5647 ye853 the LORD.3068

15 And if518 it seem evil7489 unto you5869 to serve5647 853 the LORD,3068 choose977 you this day3117 853 whom4310 ye will serve;5647 whether518 853 the gods430 which834 your fathers1 served5647 that834 were on the other side5676 of the flood,5104 or518 853 the gods430 of the Amorites,567 in whose land776 ye859 dwell:3427 but as for me595 and my house,1004 we will serve5647 853 the LORD.3068

16 And the people5971 answered6030 and said,559 God forbid2486 that we should forsake4480 5800 853 the LORD,3068 to serve5647 other312 gods;430

17 For3588 the LORD3068 our God,430 he1931 it is that brought5927 us up and our fathers1 out of the land4480 776 of Egypt,4714 from the house4480 1004 of bondage,5650 and which834 did6213 those428 great1419 853 signs226 in our sight,5869 and preserved8104 us in all3605 the way1870 wherein834 we went,1980 and among all3605 the people5971 through7130 whom we passed: 5674

18 And the LORD3068 drove out1644 from before4480 6440 us853 all3605 the people,5971 even the Amorites567 which dwelt3427 in the land:776 therefore will we587 also1571 serve5647 853 the LORD;3068 for3588 he1931 is our God.430

19 And Joshua3091 said559 unto413 the people,5971 Ye cannot3808 3201 serve5647 853 the LORD:3068 for3588 he1931 is a holy6918 God;430 he1931 is a jealous7072 God;410 he will not3808 forgive5375 your transgressions6588 nor your sins.2403

20 If3588 ye forsake5800 853 the LORD,3068 and serve5647 strange5236 gods,430 then he will turn7725 and do you hurt,7489 and consume3615 you, after310 that834 he hath done you good.3190

21 And the people5971 said559 unto413 Joshua,3091 Nay;3808 but3588 we will serve5647 853 the LORD.3068

22 And Joshua3091 said559 unto413 the people,5971 Ye859 are witnesses5707 against yourselves that3588 ye859 have chosen977 you853 the LORD,3068 to serve5647 him. And they said,559 We are witnesses.5707

23 Now6258 therefore put away,5493 said he, the853 strange5236 gods430 which834 are among7130 you, and incline5186 853 your heart3824 unto413 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel.3478

24 And the people5971 said559 unto413 Joshua,3091 853 The LORD3068 our God430 will we serve,5647 and his voice6963 will we obey.8085

25 So Joshua3091 made3772 a covenant1285 with the people5971 that1931 day,3117 and set7760 them a statute2706 and an ordinance4941 in Shechem.7927

26 And Joshua3091 wrote3789 these428 853 words1697 in the book5612 of the law8451 of God,430 and took3947 a great1419 stone,68 and set it up6965 there8033 under8478 an oak,427 that834 was by the sanctuary4720 of the LORD.3068

27 And Joshua3091 said559 unto413 all3605 the people,5971 Behold,2009 this2063 stone68 shall be1961 a witness5713 unto us; for3588 it1931 hath heard8085 853 all3605 the words561 of the LORD3068 which834 he spoke1696 unto5973 us: it shall be1961 therefore a witness5713 unto you, lest6435 ye deny3584 your God.430

28 So Joshua3091 let853 the people5971 depart,7971 every man376 unto his inheritance.5159

29 And it came to pass1961 after310 these428 things,1697 that Joshua3091 the son1121 of Nun,5126 the servant5650 of the LORD,3068 died,4191 being a hundred3967 and ten6235 years old.8141

30 And they buried6912 him in the border1366 of his inheritance5159 in Timnathserah,8556 which834 is in mount2022 Ephraim,669 on the north side4480 6828 of the hill2022 of Gaash.1608

31 And Israel3478 served5647 853 the LORD3068 all3605 the days3117 of Joshua,3091 and all3605 the days3117 of the elders2205 that834 overlived748 3117 310 Joshua,3091 and which834 had known3045 853 all3605 the works4639 of the LORD,3068 that834 he had done6213 for Israel.3478

32 And the bones6106 of Joseph,3130 which834 the children1121 of Israel3478 brought up5927 out of Egypt,4480 4714 buried6912 they in Shechem,7927 in a parcel2513 of ground7704 which834 Jacob3290 bought7069 of4480 854 the sons1121 of Hamor2544 the father1 of Shechem7928 for a hundred3967 pieces of silver:7192 and it became1961 the inheritance5159 of the children1121 of Joseph.3130

33 And Eleazar499 the son1121 of Aaron175 died;4191 and they buried6912 him in a hill1389 that pertained to Phinehas6372 his son,1121 which834 was given5414 him in mount2022 Ephraim.669

1 Собрал Иисус все колена Израилевы в Сихем и призвал старейшин Израиля, и начальников его, и судей его, и надзирателей его, и предстали пред [Господа] Бога.

2 И сказал Иисус всему народу: так говорит Иегова, Бог Израилев: за рекою жили отцы ваши издревле, Фарра, отец Авраама и отец Нахора, и служили другим богам.

3 Но Я взял отца вашего Авраама из-за реки и водил его по всей земле Ханаанской, и размножил семя его и дал ему Исаака.

4 Исааку дал Иакова и Исава; Исаву дал Я гору Сеир в наследие; Иаков же и сыны его перешли в Египет, [и сделались там народом великим, сильным и многочисленным, и стали притеснять их Египтяне].

5 И послал Я Моисея и Аарона, и поразил Египет [знамениями], так как Я делал среди его, и потом вывел вас.

6 Я вывел отцев ваших из Египта; и вы пришли к [Чермному] морю. Тогда Египтяне гнались за отцами вашими с колесницами, с всадниками, до Чермного моря.

7 Но они возопили ко Господу, и Он положил [облако и] тьму между вами и Египтянами, и навел на них море, которое их и покрыло. Глаза ваши видели, что Я сделал в Египте; потом много времени пробыли вы в пустыне.

8 После привел Я вас к земле Аморреев, живущих за Иорданом; они сразились с вами, но Я предал их в руки ваши, и вы получили в наследие землю их, и Я истребил их пред вами.

9 Восстал Валак, сын Сепфоров, царь Моавитский, и пошел войною на Израиля, и послал и призвал Валаама, сына Веорова, дабы он проклял вас.

10 Но Я не хотел послушать Валаама; и он благословил вас, и Я избавил вас из рук его.

11 Вы перешли Иордан и пришли к Иерихону. И стали воевать с вами жители Иерихона, Аморреи, и Ферезеи, и Хананеи, и Хеттеи, и Гергесеи, и Евеи, и Иевусеи; но Я предал их в руки ваши.

12 Я послал пред вами шершней, которые прогнали их от вас, двух царей Аморрейских; не мечем твоим, и не луком твоим сделано сие .

13 Таким образом Я дал вам землю, над которою ты не трудился, и города, которых вы не строили, и вы живете в них; из виноградных и масличных садов, которых вы не насаждали, вы едите плоды .

14 Итак, бойтесь Иеговы, и служите Ему в чистоте и искренности; отвергните богов, коим служили отцы ваши за рекою и в Египте, а служите Иегове.

15 Если же не угодно вам служить Иегове, то изберите себе ныне, кому служить, богам ли, которым служили отцы ваши, бывшие за рекою, или богам Аморрейским, в земле коих живете; а я и дом мой будем служить Иегове, [Ибо Он свят].

16 И отвечал народ и сказал: нет, мы не оставим Иеговы, чтоб служить другим богам!

17 Ибо Иегова, Бог наш, [есть Бог], Который вывел нас и отцев наших из земли Египетской, из дома рабства, и Который делал пред глазами нашими великие знамения, и хранил нас на всем пути, по которому мы шли, и во всех народах, среди коих мы проходили.

18 Иегова прогнал от нас все народы, и Аморреев, живших в сей земле. И мы будем служить, Иегове, ибо Он Бог наш.

19 Иисус сказал народу: не можете служить Иегове, [Богу], поелику Он Бог святый, Бог ревнитель, не потерпит беззакония вашего и грехов ваших.

20 Если вы оставите Иегову и будете служить чужеземным богам, то Он опять будет вам делать зло и истребит вас, после того, как благотворил вам.

21 И сказал народ Иисусу: нет, мы Иегове будем служить.

22 Иисус сказал народу: вы свидетели о себе, что вы избрали себе Иегову, служить Ему. Они отвечали: свидетели.

23 И так отвергните чужеземных богов, которые у вас, и обратите сердце свое к Иегове, Богу Израилеву.

24 Народ сказал Иисусу: Иегове, Богу нашему, будем служить, и гласа Его будем слушать.

25 Таким образом Иисус заключил с народом завет в тот день, и дал ему постановления и закон в Сихеме [пред скиниею Господа, Бога Израилева].

26 И вписал Иисус слова сии в книгу закона Божия, и взял большой камень и положил его там под дубом, который подле святилища Господня.

27 И сказал Иисус всему народу: вот, камень сей будет нам свидетелем: ибо он слышал все слова Господни, которые Он говорил с нами; он да будет свидетелем против вас, чтобы вы не солгали пред Богом вашим.

28 И отпустил Иисус народ, каждого в свой удел.

29 После сего умер Иисус, сын Навин, раб Господень, будучи ста десяти лет.

30 И похоронили его в пределе его удела в Фимнаф-Саре, что на горе Ефремовой, на север от горы Гааша.

31 И служил Израиль Господу во все дни Иисуса и во все дни старейшин, которых жизнь продлилась после Иисуса, и которые знали все дела Господни, какие Он соделал Израилю.

32 И кости Иосифа, которые вынесли сыны Израилевы из Египта, схоронили в Сихеме, в участке поля, которое купил Иаков у сынов Еммора, отца Сихемова, за сто монет, и достались в удел сынам Иосифовым.

33 Умер и Елеазар, сын Аарона, и похоронили его на холме Финееса, сына его, который дан ему на горе Ефремовой.

14 Итак, бойтесь Иеговы, и служите Ему в чистоте и искренности; отвергните богов, коим служили отцы ваши за рекою и в Египте, а служите Иегове.

15 And if518 it seem evil7489 unto you5869 to serve5647 853 the LORD,3068 choose977 you this day3117 853 whom4310 ye will serve;5647 whether518 853 the gods430 which834 your fathers1 served5647 that834 were on the other side5676 of the flood,5104 or518 853 the gods430 of the Amorites,567 in whose land776 ye859 dwell:3427 but as for me595 and my house,1004 we will serve5647 853 the LORD.3068

15 Если же не угодно вам служить Иегове, то изберите себе ныне, кому служить, богам ли, которым служили отцы ваши, бывшие за рекою, или богам Аморрейским, в земле коих живете; а я и дом мой будем служить Иегове, [Ибо Он свят].

16 And the people5971 answered6030 and said,559 God forbid2486 that we should forsake4480 5800 853 the LORD,3068 to serve5647 other312 gods;430

16 И отвечал народ и сказал: нет, мы не оставим Иеговы, чтоб служить другим богам!

18 Иегова прогнал от нас все народы, и Аморреев, живших в сей земле. И мы будем служить, Иегове, ибо Он Бог наш.

20 Если вы оставите Иегову и будете служить чужеземным богам, то Он опять будет вам делать зло и истребит вас, после того, как благотворил вам.

21 And the people5971 said559 unto413 Joshua,3091 Nay;3808 but3588 we will serve5647 853 the LORD.3068

21 И сказал народ Иисусу: нет, мы Иегове будем служить.

22 And Joshua3091 said559 unto413 the people,5971 Ye859 are witnesses5707 against yourselves that3588 ye859 have chosen977 you853 the LORD,3068 to serve5647 him. And they said,559 We are witnesses.5707

22 Иисус сказал народу: вы свидетели о себе, что вы избрали себе Иегову, служить Ему. Они отвечали: свидетели.

26 И вписал Иисус слова сии в книгу закона Божия, и взял большой камень и положил его там под дубом, который подле святилища Господня.

27 И сказал Иисус всему народу: вот, камень сей будет нам свидетелем: ибо он слышал все слова Господни, которые Он говорил с нами; он да будет свидетелем против вас, чтобы вы не солгали пред Богом вашим.

28 So Joshua3091 let853 the people5971 depart,7971 every man376 unto his inheritance.5159

28 И отпустил Иисус народ, каждого в свой удел.

29 And it came to pass1961 after310 these428 things,1697 that Joshua3091 the son1121 of Nun,5126 the servant5650 of the LORD,3068 died,4191 being a hundred3967 and ten6235 years old.8141

29 После сего умер Иисус, сын Навин, раб Господень, будучи ста десяти лет.

30 And they buried6912 him in the border1366 of his inheritance5159 in Timnathserah,8556 which834 is in mount2022 Ephraim,669 on the north side4480 6828 of the hill2022 of Gaash.1608

30 И похоронили его в пределе его удела в Фимнаф-Саре, что на горе Ефремовой, на север от горы Гааша.

31 And Israel3478 served5647 853 the LORD3068 all3605 the days3117 of Joshua,3091 and all3605 the days3117 of the elders2205 that834 overlived748 3117 310 Joshua,3091 and which834 had known3045 853 all3605 the works4639 of the LORD,3068 that834 he had done6213 for Israel.3478

31 И служил Израиль Господу во все дни Иисуса и во все дни старейшин, которых жизнь продлилась после Иисуса, и которые знали все дела Господни, какие Он соделал Израилю.

32 And the bones6106 of Joseph,3130 which834 the children1121 of Israel3478 brought up5927 out of Egypt,4480 4714 buried6912 they in Shechem,7927 in a parcel2513 of ground7704 which834 Jacob3290 bought7069 of4480 854 the sons1121 of Hamor2544 the father1 of Shechem7928 for a hundred3967 pieces of silver:7192 and it became1961 the inheritance5159 of the children1121 of Joseph.3130

32 И кости Иосифа, которые вынесли сыны Израилевы из Египта, схоронили в Сихеме, в участке поля, которое купил Иаков у сынов Еммора, отца Сихемова, за сто монет, и достались в удел сынам Иосифовым.

33 And Eleazar499 the son1121 of Aaron175 died;4191 and they buried6912 him in a hill1389 that pertained to Phinehas6372 his son,1121 which834 was given5414 him in mount2022 Ephraim.669

33 Умер и Елеазар, сын Аарона, и похоронили его на холме Финееса, сына его, который дан ему на горе Ефремовой.
