1 所羅門建耶和華殿、在耶路撒冷邑、摩哩山、昔耶和華顯現於父大闢、在耶布士人亞勞拿穀塲、大闢所備之所。

2 所羅門四年、二月二日、始建斯殿。

3 所羅門築上帝殿基、長六丈、廣二丈、循其古尺、(古尺布肘爲度)

4 殿前廡、廣與殿等、高十二丈、內飾兼金、

5 大殿蓋以松木、飾以兼金、刻棗樹鐵索之狀、

6 以寶石飾殿、金由巴瓦音所至、

7 以金飾殿、及梁、柱、牆、門、牆上刻基路伯像。

8 又作至聖之所、廣與殿等、長廣俱二丈、以兼金九十萬兩爲飾。

9 金釘二十五兩、以金飾樓。

10 在至聖之所、雕刻二基路伯像、飾之以金。

11 基路伯計四翮、共長二丈、每翮長五尺、左基路伯之翮、一及牆、一與右基路伯之翮相接、右基路伯之翮亦若是。

12 併於上節

13 基路伯各張其翮、首內向而立。

14 以紫赤絳三色之枲織幔、繡基路伯像。

15 殿前二柱、高三丈五尺、各柱之頂高五尺。

16 作銅索置柱頂、制同後殿、亦鑄石榴一百、繫索上、

17 殿前立柱、一左一右、右名雅斤、左名破士。

Chapter 3

1 Then Solomon8010 began2490 to build1129 the house1004 of the LORD3068 at Jerusalem3389 in mount2022 Moriah,4179 where834 the Lord appeared7200 to David1732 his father,25 in the place4725 that David1732 had prepared3559 in the threshing floor1637 of Ornan771 the Jebusite.2983

2 And he began2490 to build1129 in the second8145 day of the second8145 month,2320 in the fourth702 year8141 of his reign.4438

3 Now these428 are the things wherein Solomon8010 was instructed3245 for the building1129 of the house1004 of God.430 The length753 by cubits520 after the first7223 measure4060 was three score8346 cubits,520 and the breadth7341 twenty6242 cubits.520

4 And the porch197 that was in the front6440 of the house, the length753 of it was according5921 to the breadth7341 of the house,1004 twenty6242 cubits,520 and the height1363 was an hundred3967 and twenty:6242 and he overlaid6823 it within6441 with pure2889 gold.2091

5 And the greater1419 house1004 he paneled2645 with fir1265 tree,6086 which he overlaid2645 with fine2896 gold,2091 and set5927 thereon5921 palm8561 trees and chains.8333

6 And he garnished6823 the house1004 with precious3368 stones68 for beauty:8597 and the gold2091 was gold2091 of Parvaim.6516

7 He overlaid2645 also the house,1004 the beams,6982 the posts,5592 and the walls7023 thereof, and the doors1817 thereof, with gold;2091 and graved6605 cherubim3742 on5921 the walls.7023

8 And he made6213 the most6944 holy6944 house,1004 the length753 whereof was according5921 to the breadth7341 of the house,1004 twenty6242 cubits,520 and the breadth7341 thereof twenty6242 cubits:520 and he overlaid2645 it with fine2896 gold,2091 amounting to six8337 hundred3967 talents.3603

9 And the weight4948 of the nails4548 was fifty2572 shekels8255 of gold.2091 And he overlaid2645 the upper5944 chambers5944 with gold.2091

10 And in the most6944 holy6944 house1004 he made6213 two8147 cherubim3742 of image6816 work,4639 and overlaid6823 them with gold.2091

11 And the wings3671 of the cherubim3742 were twenty6242 cubits520 long:753 one259 wing3671 of the one cherub was five2568 cubits,520 reaching5060 to the wall7023 of the house:1004 and the other312 wing3671 was likewise five2568 cubits,520 reaching5060 to the wing3671 of the other312 cherub.3742

12 And one wing3671 of the other259 cherub3742 was five2568 cubits,520 reaching5060 to the wall7023 of the house:1004 and the other312 wing3671 was five2568 cubits520 also, joining1692 to the wing3671 of the other312 cherub.3742

13 The wings3671 of these428 cherubim3742 spread6566 themselves forth twenty6242 cubits:520 and they stood5975 on5921 their feet,7272 and their faces6440 were inward.1004

14 And he made6213 the veil6532 of blue,8504 and purple,713 and crimson,3758 and fine linen,948 and worked5927 cherubim3742 thereon.5921

15 Also he made6213 before6440 the house1004 two8147 pillars5982 of thirty7970 and five2568 cubits520 high,753 and the capital6858 that was on5921 the top7218 of each of them was five2568 cubits.520
