第5章

1 亞當之裔、其畧如左、上帝造人、象其像。

2 造男亦造女、當造之日、稱之曰人、而錫嘏焉。〇

3 亞當百有三十歲生子，克肖乎己，命名曰設，

4 其後歷八百年，猶生子女，

5 享壽九百三十歲而終。

6 設百有五歲，生以哪士，

7 其後歷八百有七年，猶生子女，

8 享壽九百一十二歲而終。

9 以哪士九十歲、生該南、

10 其後歷八百十五年、猶生子女、

11 享壽九百有五歲而終，

12 該南七十歲生馬勒列，

13 其後歷八百四十年，猶生子女，

14 享壽九百有十歲而終。

15 馬勒列六十五歲，生雅列，

16 其後歷八百三十年，猶生子女，

17 享壽八百九十五歲而終。

18 雅列百六十二歲，生以諾，

19 其後歷八百年，猶生子女，

20 享壽九百六十二歲而終。

21 以諾六十五歲，生馬土撒拉。

22 其後所行，合乎上帝，歷三百年，猶生子女，

23 享壽三百六十五歲，

24 以諾所行，合乎上帝，上帝接之，不居於世。

25 馬土撒拉一百八十七歲，生拉麥，

26 其後歷七百八十二年，猶生子女，

27 享壽九百六十九歲而終，

28 拉麥一百八十二歲，生子，

29 命名挪亞，曰、耶和華詛土、使我操作、備嘗艱苦、是子必慰藉我。

30 厥後拉麥歷五百九十五年，猶生子女。

31 享壽七百七十七歲而終。

32 挪亞五百歲，生閃、含、雅弗。

Chapter 5

1 THIS is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God created he him;

2 Male and female he created them; and God blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

3 And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth;

4 And Adam lived after he had begotten Seth eight hundred years; and he begot sons and daughters.

5 Thus all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years, and he died.

6 And Seth lived a hundred and five years, and begot Enosh;

7 And Seth lived after he begot Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters;

8 And all the days of Seth were pine hundred and twelve years, and he died.

9 And Enosh lived ninety years, and begot Cainan;

10 And Enosh lived after he begot Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begot sons and daughters;

11 And all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years, and he died.

12 And Cainan lived seventy years, and begot Mahlalael;

13 And Cainan lived after he begot Mahlalael eight hundred and forty years, and begot sons and daughters;

14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years, and he died.

15 And Mahlalael lived sixty and five years, and begot Jared;

16 And Mahlalael lived after he begot Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters.

17 And all the days of Mahlalael were eight hundred ninety and five years, and he died.

18 And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and he begot Enoch:

19 And Jared lived after he begot Enoch eight hundred years, and begot sons and daughters;

20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years, and he died.

21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begot Methuselah;

22 And Enoch found favor in the presence of God three hundred years after he begot Methuselah, and begot sons and daughters;

23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty-five years;

24 And Enoch found favor in the presence of God, and disappeared; for God took him away.

25 And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty-seven years, and begot Lamech;

26 And Methuselah lived after he begot Lamech seven hundred and eighty-two years, and begot sons and daughters;

27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty-nine years, and he died.

28 And Lamech lived a hundred eighty-two years, and begot a son;

29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This one shall comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD has cursed.

30 And Lamech lived after he begot Noah five hundred ninety-five years, and begot sons and daughters.

31 Thus all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy-seven years, and he died.

32 And Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

10 其後歷八百十五年、猶生子女、	10 And Enosh lived after he begot Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begot sons and daughters;
11 享壽九百有五歲而終，	11 And all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years, and he died.
12 該南七十歲生馬勒列，	12 And Cainan lived seventy years, and begot Mahlalael;
13 其後歷八百四十年，猶生子女，	13 And Cainan lived after he begot Mahlalael eight hundred and forty years, and begot sons and daughters;
14 享壽九百有十歲而終。	14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years, and he died.
15 馬勒列六十五歲，生雅列，	15 And Mahlalael lived sixty and five years, and begot Jared;
16 其後歷八百三十年，猶生子女，	16 And Mahlalael lived after he begot Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters.
17 享壽八百九十五歲而終。	17 And all the days of Mahlalael were eight hundred ninety and five years, and he died.
18 雅列百六十二歲，生以諾，	18 And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and he begot Enoch:
19 其後歷八百年，猶生子女，	19 And Jared lived after he begot Enoch eight hundred years, and begot sons and daughters;
20 享壽九百六十二歲而終。	20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years, and he died.
21 以諾六十五歲，生馬土撒拉。	21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begot Methuselah;
22 其後所行，合乎上帝，歷三百年，猶生子女，	22 And Enoch found favor in the presence of God three hundred years after he begot Methuselah, and begot sons and daughters;
23 享壽三百六十五歲，	23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty-five years;

28 拉麥一百八十二歲，生子，	28 And Lamech lived a hundred eighty-two years, and begot a son;
