|
1 太初有道，道與神同在，道就是神。
|
1 In the beginning746 was the Word,3056 and the Word3056 was with God,2316 and the Word3056 was God.2316
|
|
2 這道太初與神同在。
|
2 The same3778 was in the beginning746 with God.2316
|
|
3 凡物［All things］是靠［by］他造的；凡被造的，沒有一樣不是靠［by］他造的。
|
3 All3956 things were made1096 by him; and without5565 him was not any1520 thing made1096 that was made.1096
|
|
4 生命在他裏頭；這生命就是人的光。
|
4 In him was life;2222 and the life2222 was the light5457 of men.444
|
|
5 光照在黑暗裏；黑暗卻不認識［comprehended］光。
|
5 And the light5457 shines5316 in darkness;4653 and the darkness4653 comprehended2638 it not.
|
|
6 有一個人，是從神那裏差來的，名叫約翰。
|
6 There was a man444 sent649 from God,2316 whose846 name3686 was John.2491
|
|
7 這人來，為要作見證，就是為光作見證，叫眾人因他可以信。
|
7 The same3778 came2064 for a witness,3141 to bear3140 witness3140 of the Light,5457 that all3956 men through1223 him might believe.4100
|
|
8 他不是那光，乃是奉差遣［was sent］，要為那［that］光作見證。
|
8 He was not that Light,5457 but was sent to bear3140 witness3140 of that Light.5457
|
|
9 那［That］是真光，照亮一切生在世上的人。
|
9 That was the true228 Light,5457 which3739 lights5461 every3956 man444 that comes2064 into1519 the world.2889
|
|
10 他在世界，世界也是靠［by］他造的，世界卻不認識他。
|
10 He was in the world,2889 and the world2889 was made1096 by him, and the world2889 knew1097 him not.
|
|
11 他到自己的地方來，自己的人倒不接待他。
|
11 He came2064 to his own, and his own received3880 him not.
|
|
12 然而［But］，凡接待他的，就是信他名的人，他就賜他們權柄，作神的兒子［sons］；
|
12 But as many3745 as received2983 him, to them gave1325 he power1849 to become1096 the sons5043 of God,2316 even to them that believe4100 on1519 his name:3686
|
|
13 這等人不是從血氣生的，不是從情欲生的，也不是從人意生的，乃是從神生的。
|
13 Which3739 were born,1080 not of blood,129 nor3761 of the will2307 of the flesh,4561 nor3761 of the will2307 of man,435 but of God.2316
|
|
14 道成了肉身，住在我們中間，（我們也見過他的榮光，正是父獨生子的榮光［the only begotten of the Father］，）充充滿滿的有恩典有真理［full of grace and truth］。
|
14 And the Word3056 was made1096 flesh,4561 and dwelled4637 among1722 us, (and we beheld2300 his glory,1391 the glory1391 as of the only3439 begotten3439 of the Father,3962) full4134 of grace5485 and truth.225
|
|
15 約翰為他作見證，喊著說：「這就是我曾說：『那在我以後來的，乃是比我更好的［is preferred before me］，因他本來在我以前。』」
|
15 John2491 bore3140 witness3140 of him, and cried,2896 saying,3004 This3778 was he of whom3739 I spoke,2036 He that comes2064 after3694 me is preferred1715 before1715 me: for he was before4413 me.
|
|
16 從他豐滿的恩典裏，我們都領受了，而且恩上加恩。
|
16 And of his fullness4138 have2192 all3956 we received,2983 and grace5485 for grace.5485
|
|
17 律法本是藉著摩西傳的，恩典和真理卻［but］是由耶穌基督來的。
|
17 For the law3551 was given1325 by Moses,3475 but grace5485 and truth225 came1096 by Jesus2424 Christ.5547
|
|
18 從來沒有人看見神；只有在父懷裏的獨生子［the only begotten Son］將他表明出來。
|
18 No3762 man3762 has seen3708 God2316 at4455 any4455 time,4455 the only3439 begotten3439 Son,5207 which3588 is in the bosom2859 of the Father,3962 he has declared1834 him.
|
|
19 約翰所作的見證記在下面，那時［when］猶太人從耶路撒冷差祭司和利未人來問他［ask him］，說：「你是誰？」
|
19 And this3778 is the record3141 of John,2491 when3753 the Jews2453 sent649 priests2409 and Levites3019 from Jerusalem2414 to ask2065 him, Who5101 are1488 you?
|
|
20 他就承認［confessed］，並不隱瞞；卻承認說［but confessed］：「我不是基督。」
|
20 And he confessed,3670 and denied720 not; but confessed,3670 I am1510 not the Christ.5547
|
|
21 他們又問他說：「這樣，你是誰呢？是以利亞嗎？」他說：「我不是。」「你［thou］是那先知嗎？」他回答說：「不是。」
|
21 And they asked2065 him, What5101 then?3767 Are1488 you Elias?2243 And he said,3004 I am1510 not. Are1488 you that prophet?4396 And he answered,611 No.3756
|
|
22 於是他們對他［unto him］說：「你到底是誰？叫我們好回覆差我們來的人。你自己說，你是誰？」
|
22 Then3767 said2036 they to him, Who5101 are1488 you? that we may give1325 an answer612 to them that sent3992 us. What5101 say3004 you of yourself?4572
|
|
23 他說：「我就是那在曠野有人聲喊著說：『修直主的道路。』正如先知以賽亞所說的。
|
23 He said,5346 I am the voice5456 of one crying994 in the wilderness,2048 Make2116 straight2116 the way3598 of the Lord,2962 as said2036 the prophet4396 Esaias.2268

|
24 那些人是法利賽人差來的［And they which were sent were of the Pharisees］。
|
24 And they which3588 were sent649 were of the Pharisees.5330
|
|
25 他們就問他，對他［unto him］說：「你既不是那［that］基督，不是以利亞，也不是那先知，為甚麼施浸呢？」
|
25 And they asked2065 him, and said2036 to him, Why5101 baptize907 you then,3767 if1487 you be not that Christ,5547 nor3777 Elias,2243 neither that prophet?4396
|
|
26 約翰回答他們［them］說：「我是用水施浸。但有一個站在你們中間，是你們不認識的；
|
26 John2491 answered611 them, saying,3004 I baptize907 with water:5204 but there stands2476 one among1722 5216 you, whom3739 you know1492 not;
|
|
27 那正［coming］在我以後來的，乃是比我更好的［is preferred before me］，我給他解鞋帶也不配。」
|
27 He it is, who3588 coming2064 after3694 me is preferred1096 before1715 me, whose3739 shoe's5266 lace2438 I am1510 not worthy514 to unloose.3089
|
|
28 這是在約旦河外伯大巴喇［Bethabara］，約翰施浸的地方所作的［done］見證。
|
28 These5023 things were done1096 in Bethabara962 beyond4008 Jordan,2446 where3699 John2491 was baptizing.907
|
|
29 次日，約翰看見耶穌來到他那裏，就說：「看哪，神的羔羊，除去［taketh away］世人罪孽的。
|
29 The next1887 day1887 John2491 sees991 Jesus2424 coming2064 to him, and said,3004 Behold2396 the Lamb286 of God,2316 which3588 takes142 away the sin266 of the world.2889
|
|
30 這就是我曾說：『有一個在我以後來、比我更好的［is preferred before me］；因他本來在我以前。』

30 This3778 is he of whom3739 I said,2036 After3694 me comes2064 a man435 which3739 is preferred1096 before1715 me: for he was before4413 me.
|
|
31 我不認識他［I knew him not］；但［but］為要叫他顯明給以色列［Israel］，我就來用水施浸［therefore am I come baptizing with water］。」
|
31 And I knew1492 him not: but that he should be made5319 manifest5319 to Israel,2474 therefore1223 5124 am I come2064 baptizing907 with water.5204
|
|
32 約翰又作見證說：「我看見靈從天降下彷彿鴿子［saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove］，住在他的身上。
|
32 And John2491 bore3140 record,3140 saying,3004 I saw2300 the Spirit4151 descending2597 from heaven3772 like5616 a dove,4058 and it stayed3306 on him.
|
|
33 我不認識他［I knew him not］；只是那差我來用水施浸的、對我說：『你看見靈［Spirit］降下來，住在誰的身上，誰就是用聖靈施浸的。』
|
33 And I knew1492 him not: but he that sent3992 me to baptize907 with water,5204 the same1565 said2036 to me, On whom3739 you shall see1492 the Spirit4151 descending,2597 and remaining3306 on1909 him, the same3778 is he which baptizes907 with the Holy40 Ghost.4151
|
|
34 我看見了，就證明這是神的兒子。」
|
34 And I saw,3708 and bore3140 record3140 that this3778 is the Son5207 of God.2316
|
|
35 再次日，約翰同他［his］兩個門徒站在那裏；
|
35 Again3825 the next1887 day1887 after1887 John2491 stood,2476 and two1417 of his disciples;3101
|
|
36 看著［looking upon］耶穌行走，他［he］說：「看哪。這是神的羔羊。」
|
36 And looking1689 on Jesus2424 as he walked,4043 he said,3004 Behold2396 the Lamb286 of God!2316
|
|
37 兩個門徒聽見他的話，就跟從了耶穌。
|
37 And the two1417 disciples3101 heard191 him speak,2980 and they followed190 Jesus.2424
|
|
38 那時［Then］，耶穌轉過身來，看見他們跟著，就對［unto］他們說：「你們要甚麼？」他們對耶穌［unto him］說：「拉比，在哪裏住？（拉比翻出來就是夫子。）」
|
38 Then1161 Jesus2424 turned,4762 and saw2300 them following,190 and said3004 to them, What5101 seek2212 you? They said2036 to him, Rabbi,4461 (which3739 is to say,3004 being interpreted,2059 Master,1320) where4226 dwell3306 you?
|
|
39 耶穌對他們［unto them］說：「你們來看。」他們就去看他在那裏住，那天［that day］便與他同住；因［for］那時約有申正了。
|
39 He said3004 to them, Come2064 and see.1492 They came2064 and saw1492 where4226 he dwelled,3306 and stayed3306 with him that day:2250 for it was about5613 the tenth1182 hour.5610
|
|
40 聽見約翰的話跟從耶穌的那兩個人，一個是西門．彼得的兄弟安得烈。
|
40 One1520 of the two1417 which3588 heard191 John2491 speak, and followed190 him, was Andrew,406 Simon4613 Peter's4074 brother.80
|
|
41 他先找著自己的兄弟［brother］西門，對他說：「我們遇見彌賽亞了。」彌賽亞翻出來［which is, being interpreted］，就是基督。
|
41 He first4413 finds2147 his own brother80 Simon,4613 and said3004 to him, We have found2147 the Messias,3323 which3739 is, being interpreted,3177 the Christ.5547
|
|
42 他便［And he］領他去見耶穌。耶穌看著他說：「你是約拿的兒子西門；你要稱為磯法。」磯法翻出來，就是石頭［stone］。
|
42 And he brought71 him to Jesus.2424 And when Jesus2424 beheld1689 him, he said,2036 You are1488 Simon4613 the son5207 of Jona:2495 you shall be called2564 Cephas,2786 which3739 is by interpretation,2059 A stone.4074
|
|
43 又次日，耶穌想要往加利利去，遇見腓力，就對他說：「來跟從我吧。」
|
43 The day1887 following1887 Jesus2424 would2309 go1831 forth1831 into1519 Galilee,1056 and finds2147 Philip,5376 and said3004 to him, Follow190 me.
|
|
44 這腓力是伯賽大人，和安得烈、彼得同城。
|
44 Now1161 Philip5376 was of Bethsaida,966 the city4172 of Andrew406 and Peter.4074
|
|
45 腓力找著拿但業，對他說：「摩西在律法上所寫的和眾先知所記的那一個，我們遇見了，就是約瑟的兒子拿撒勒的［of Nazareth］耶穌。」
|
45 Philip5376 finds2147 Nathanael,3482 and said3004 to him, We have found2147 him, of whom3739 Moses3475 in the law,3551 and the prophets,4396 did write,1125 Jesus2424 of Nazareth,3478 the son5207 of Joseph.2501
|
|
46 拿但業對他說：「拿撒勒還能出甚麼好的嗎？」腓力對他［unto him］說：「你來看。」
|
46 And Nathanael3482 said2036 to him, Can1410 there any5100 good18 thing come1511 out of Nazareth?3478 Philip5376 said3004 to him, Come2064 and see.1492
|
|
47 耶穌看見拿但業來，就指著他說：「看哪，這是個真以色列人，他心裏是沒有詭詐的。」
|
47 Jesus2424 saw1492 Nathanael3482 coming2064 to him, and said3004 of him, Behold2396 an Israelite2475 indeed,230 in whom3739 is no3756 guile!1388
|
|
48 拿但業對耶穌說：「你從哪裏知道我呢？」耶穌回答他［him］說：「那［that］腓力還沒有呼喚［called］你，你在無花果樹底下，我就看見你了。」
|
48 Nathanael3482 said3004 to him, From where4159 know1097 you me? Jesus2424 answered611 and said2036 to him, Before4253 that Philip5376 called5455 you, when you were5607 under5259 the fig4808 tree,4808 I saw1492 you.
|
|
49 拿但業回答［answered］對他［unto him］說：「拉比，你是神的兒子；你是以色列的王。」
|
49 Nathanael3482 answered611 and said3004 to him, Rabbi,4461 you are1488 the Son5207 of God;2316 you are1488 the King935 of Israel.2474
|
|
50 耶穌回答［answered］對他說：「因為我對你［unto thee］說『在無花果樹底下看見你』，你就信嗎？你將要看見比這些［these］更大的事。」
|
50 Jesus2424 answered611 and said2036 to him, Because3754 I said2036 to you, I saw1492 you under5273 the fig4808 tree,4808 believe4100 you? you shall see3700 greater3187 things than these.5130
|
|
51 耶穌［he］又對他［unto him］說：「我實實在在地告訴你們：『後來［hereafter］你們將要看見天開［open］，神的天使［angels］上去下來在人子身上。』」
|
51 And he said3004 to him, Truly,281 truly,281 I say3004 to you, Hereafter737 you shall see3700 heaven3772 open,455 and the angels32 of God2316 ascending305 and descending2597 on the Son5207 of man.444
