Kapitel 42

1 Und er führete mich hinaus3318 zum äußern2435 Vorhof2691 gegen Mitternacht6828 unter935 die Kammern3957, so gegen dem1870 Gebäude1146, das am Tempel hing, und gegen dem Tempel zu Mitternacht6828 lagen,

2 welcher Platz hundert3967 Ellen520 lang753 war von6440 dem Tor6607 an gegen Mitternacht6828 und fünfzig2572 Ellen520 breit7341.

3 Zwanzig6242 Ellen waren gegen dem innern6442 Vorhof2691 und gegen dem Pflaster7531 im äußern2435 Vorhof2691 und dreißig Ellen von6440 einer Ecke zur andern.

4 Und inwendig6442 vor6440 den Kammern3957 war ein259 Platz zehn6235 Ellen520 breit7341 vor den Türen6607 der Kammern, das lag alles gegen1870 Mitternacht6828.

5 Und5945 über diesen Kammern3957 waren andere, engere Kammern862; denn der Raum1146 auf den untern8481 und mittlern Kammern war nicht groß.

6 Denn es war drei8027 Gemächer hoch, und776 hatten doch keine Pfeiler5982, wie die Vorhöfe2691 Pfeiler5982 hatten, sondern sie waren schlecht aufeinandergesetzt.

7 Und der äußere Vorhof2691 war umfangen mit6440 einer Mauer1447, daran die Kammern3957 stunden; die war fünfzig2572 Ellen520 lang753.

8 Und die Kammern3957 stunden nacheinander, auch fünfzig2572 Ellen520 lang753, am äußern2435 Vorhofe2691; aber der Raum vor6440 dem Tempel1964 war hundert3967 Ellen520 lang.

9 Und unten vor den Kammern3957 war935 ein Platz gegen Morgen6921, da man aus2007 dem äußern2435 Vorhof2691 ging935.

10 Und an1870 der Mauer1444 von6440 Morgen6921 an waren auch Kammern3957.

11 Und4758 war4941 auch ein Platz davor, wie1870 vor6440 jenen6607 Kammern3957, gegen Mitternacht6828; und war alles gleich mit der Länge753, Breite7341 und allem4161, was daran war, wie1870 droben an jenen.

12 Und gegen1870 Mittag1864 waren935 auch eben solche Kammern3957 mit ihren Türen6607; und vor6440 dem1870 Platz war die Tür6607 gegen1870 Mittag, dazu man kommt von der Mauer1448, die gegen1870 Morgen6921 liegt.

13 Und3548 er sprach559 zu7138 mir6440: Die Kammern3957 gegen Mitternacht6828 und die Kammern3957 gegen Mittag1864 gegen dem Tempel, die gehören zum Heiligtum6944, darin die Priester essen398, wenn sie dem HErrn3068 opfern das allerheiligste6944 Opfer4503. Und sollen die allerheiligsten6944 Opfer, nämlich Speisopfer, Sündopfer2403 und Schuldopfer817, daselbst hineinlegen3240; denn es ist6944 eine heilige6944 Stätte4725.

14 Und3548 wenn die Priester hineingehen, sollen sie3847 nicht wieder aus3318 dem Heiligtum6944 gehen935 in den äußern2435 Vorhof2691, sondern sollen zuvor ihre Kleider899, darin sie3847 gedienet haben8334, in denselbigen Kammern weglegen3240, denn sie sind heilig6944; und sollen ihre andern312 Kleider899 anlegen und alsdann heraus unter das Volk5971 gehen7126.

15 Und5439 da er das Haus1004 inwendig6442 gar gemessen4058 hatte3615, führete er mich6440 heraus zum1870 Tor8179 gegen1870 Morgen6921 und maß4060 von3318 demselbigen allenthalben herum.

16 Gegen Morgen6921 maß4058 er fünfhundert2568 Ruten4060 lang5439

17 und7307 gegen Mitternacht6828 maß4058 er auch fünfhundert2568 Ruten7070 lang5439,

18 desgleichen4058 gegen Mittag1864 auch fünfhundert2568 Ruten7070.

19 Und7307 da er kam5437 gegen Abend3220, maß4058 er auch fünfhundert2568 Ruten7070 lang.

20 Also hatte die Mauer2346, die er gemessen4058, ins Gevierte auf702 jeder Seite7307 herum fünfhundert2568 Ruten7341, damit das Heilige6944 von5439 dem Unheiligen2455 unterschieden914 wäre.

Chapter 42

1 THEN he brought me forth into the outer court, to the way toward the north; and he brought me into the room opposite the separate place and opposite the building toward the north.

2 Towards the place where he measured a hundred cubits, which is at the north gate, and the breadth of it was fifty cubits.

3 Opposite the gate of the inner court, over against the pavement of the outer court, was gallery above gallery in three stories.

4 And before the rooms was a passage ten cubits broad, and its length a hundred cubits; and the door of the passage was toward the north.

5 Now the upper rooms were smaller because the stairway went through them.

6 For they were in three stories, but had no pillars like the pillars of the court; therefore the upper rooms were smaller than the lower rooms and the middle ones.

7 And the wall that was outside, which is opposite the rooms, was fifty cubits long.

8 For the length of the rooms that were in the outer court was fifty cubits; and those before the temple were a hundred cubits.

9 And the door of the room of the vestibule which goes into the outer court was on the east.

10 The rooms were in the breadth of the wall of the court at the eastern gate opposite the separate place, and in front of the building where the rooms were.

11 And the passage in front of them was like the appearance of the rooms which were toward the north, and the rooms were of the same length and breadth; and all their exits, entrances, their appearance, and their doors were alike.

12 Like to the doors of the rooms that were toward the south was a door in the head of the way which was directly before the wall toward the place where the eastern valley starts.

13 Then he said to me, The north rooms and the south rooms, which are in front of the separate place, they are rooms where the priests who make offerings to the LORD eat the most holy things; there they lay the most holy things, the meat offering, the sin offering, and the trespass offering: for the place is holy.

14 When the priests enter therein, they shall not go out of the holy place into the outer court, but there they shall lay their garments in which they minister; for they are holy; and they shall put on other garments; then they can make offerings on behalf of the people.

15 Now when he had finished measuring the inner house, he took me out toward the gate that looks toward the east, and he measured it round about.

16 He measured the east side, five hundred reeds with the measuring reed round about.

17 He measured the north side, five hundred reeds with the measuring reed round about.

18 He measured the south side, five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.

19 He measured the west side, five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.

20 He measured it on the four sides; and the wall round about, five hundred reeds long and five hundred broad, making a separation between the sanctuary and the unconsecrated ground.
