第10章
|
|
1 Now when Ezra5830 had prayed,6419 and when he had confessed,3034 weeping1058 and casting5307 himself down5307 before6440 the house1004 of God,430 there assembled6908 to him out of Israel3478 a very3966 great7227 congregation6951 of men582 and women802 and children:3206 for the people5971 wept1058 very sore.

1 以斯拉禱告，認罪，哭泣，俯伏在神殿前的時候，有以色列中的男女孩童聚集到以斯拉那裏，成了大會，眾民無不痛哭。

2 And Shechaniah7935 the son1121 of Jehiel,3171 one of the sons1121 of Elam,5867 answered6030 and said559 to Ezra,5830 We have trespassed4603 against our God,430 and have taken3427 strange5237 wives802 of the people5971 of the land:776 yet now6258 there is hope4723 in Israel3478 concerning5921 this2063 thing.

2 屬以攔的子孫、耶歇的兒子示迦尼對以斯拉說：「我們在此地娶了外邦女子為妻，干犯了我們的神；然而以色列［Israel］還有盼望［hope］。

3 Now6258 therefore let us make3772 a covenant1285 with our God430 to put3318 away3318 all3605 the wives,802 and such as are born3205 of them, according to the counsel6098 of my lord,136 and of those that tremble2730 at the commandment4687 of our God;430 and let it be done6213 according to the law.8451
|
3 現在當與我們的神立約，休這一切的妻，離絕她們所生的，照著我主和那些［those］因我們［our］神命令戰兢之人所議定的，按律法而行。

|
4 Arise;6965 for this matter1697 belongs to you: we also will be with you: be of good courage,2388 and do6213 it.
|
4 你起來，這是你當辦的事，我們必幫助你，你當奮勉而行。」
|
|
5 Then arose6965 Ezra,5830 and made the chief8269 priests,3548 the Levites,3881 and all3605 Israel,3478 to swear7650 that they should do6213 according to this2088 word.1697 And they swore.7650
|
5 以斯拉便起來，使祭司長和利未人，並以色列眾人起誓說，必照這話去行；他們就起了誓。
|
|
6 Then Ezra5830 rose6965 up from before6440 the house1004 of God,430 and went3212 into413 the chamber3957 of Johanan3076 the son1121 of Eliashib:475 and when he came3212 thither,8033 he did eat398 no3808 bread,3899 nor3808 drink8354 water:4325 for he mourned56 because5921 of the transgression4604 of them that had been carried1473 away.1473

6 以斯拉從神殿前起來，進入以利亞實的兒子約哈難的屋裏，到了那裏不吃餅［bread］，也不喝水；因為被擄歸回之人所犯的罪，心裏悲傷。

|
7 And they made proclamation5674 6963 throughout Judah3063 and Jerusalem3389 to all3605 the children1121 of the captivity,1473 that they should gather6908 themselves together to Jerusalem;3389
|
7 他們通告猶大和耶路撒冷被擄歸回的人，叫他們在耶路撒冷聚集。
|
|
8 And that whoever3605 would not come935 within three7969 days,3117 according to the counsel6098 of the princes8269 and the elders,2205 all3605 his substance7399 should be forfeited,2763 and himself1931 separated914 from the congregation6951 of those that had been carried1473 away.1473
|
8 凡不遵首領和長老所議定、三日之內不來的，就必抄他的家，使他離開被擄歸回之人的會。
|
|
9 Then all3605 the men582 of Judah3063 and Benjamin1144 gathered6908 themselves together to Jerusalem3389 within three7969 days.3117 It was the ninth8671 month,2320 on the twentieth6242 day of the month;2320 and all3605 the people5971 sat3427 in the street7339 of the house1004 of God,430 trembling7460 because5921 of this matter,1697 and for the great rain.1653

9 於是，猶大和便雅憫眾人，三日之內都聚集在耶路撒冷。那日正是九月二十日，眾人都坐在神殿的街上［street］；因這事，又因下大雨，就都戰兢。
|
|
10 And Ezra5830 the priest3548 stood6965 up, and said559 to them, You have transgressed,4603 and have taken3427 strange5237 wives,802 to increase3254 the trespass819 of Israel.3478
|
10 祭司以斯拉站起來，對他們說：「你們有罪了，你們娶了外邦的女子為妻，增添以色列［Israel］的過犯［trespass］。
|
|
11 Now6258 therefore make5414 confession8426 to the LORD3068 God430 of your fathers,1 and do6213 his pleasure:7522 and separate914 yourselves from the people5971 of the land,776 and from the strange5237 wives.802
|
11 現在當向耶和華─你們列祖的神認罪，遵行他的旨意，離絕這些國的民和外邦的妻子［wives］。」
|
|
12 Then all3605 the congregation6951 answered6030 and said559 with a loud1419 voice,6963 As you have said,1697 so3651 must5921 we do.6213
|
12 會眾都大聲回答說：「我們必照著你的話行，
|
|
13 But the people5971 are many,7227 and it is a time6256 of much rain,1653 and we are not able3581 to stand5975 without,2351 neither3808 is this a work4399 of one259 day3117 or two:8147 for we are many7235 that have transgressed6586 in this2088 thing.1697
|
13 只是百姓眾多，又逢大雨的時令，我們不能站在外頭，這也不是一兩天辦完的事，因我們在這事上犯了大罪；
|
|
14 Let now4994 our rulers8269 of all3605 the congregation6951 stand,5975 and let all3605 them which have taken3427 strange5237 wives802 in our cities5892 come935 at appointed2163 times,6256 and with them the elders2205 of every city,5892 and the judges8199 thereof, until5704 the fierce2740 wrath639 of our God430 for this2088 matter1697 be turned7725 from us.

14 不如為全會眾派首領辦理。凡我們城邑中娶外邦女子為妻的，當按所定的日期，同著本城的長老和士師而來，直到辦完這事，我們［our］神的烈怒就轉離我們了。」
|
|
15 Only389 Jonathan3083 the son1121 of Asahel6214 and Jahaziah3167 the son1121 of Tikvah8616 were employed5975 about5921 this2063 matter: and Meshullam4918 and Shabbethai7678 the Levite3881 helped5826 them.
|
15 唯有亞撒黑的兒子約拿單，特瓦的兒子雅哈謝總辦［employed］這事，並有米書蘭和利未人沙比太幫助他們。
|
|
16 And the children1121 of the captivity1473 did6213 so.3651 And Ezra5830 the priest,3548 with certain582 chief7218 of the fathers,1 after the house1004 of their fathers,1 and all3605 of them by their names,8034 were separated,914 and sat3427 down in the first259 day3117 of the tenth6224 month2320 to examine1875 the matter.1697

16 被擄歸回的人如此而行。祭司以斯拉和一些族長按著父家［house of their fathers］都指名見派；在十月初一日，一同在座查辦這事，
|
|
17 And they made an end3615 with all3605 the men582 that had taken3427 strange5237 wives802 by the first259 day3117 of the first7223 month.2320
|
17 到正月初一日，才查清娶外邦女子的人數。
|
|
18 And among the sons1121 of the priests3548 there were found4672 that had taken3427 strange5237 wives:802 namely, of the sons1121 of Jeshua3442 the son1121 of Jozadak,3136 and his brothers;251 Maaseiah,4641 and Eliezer,461 and Jarib,3402 and Gedaliah.1436
|
18 在祭司中查出娶外邦女子為妻的，就是耶書亞的子孫約薩達的兒子，和他弟兄瑪西雅、以利以謝、雅立、基大利；
|
|
19 And they gave5414 their hands3027 that they would put3318 away3318 their wives;802 and being guilty,816 they offered a ram352 of the flock6629 for their trespass.819
|
19 他們便應許必休他們的妻；既是［being］有罪，他們［they］就為自己的過犯［for their trespass］獻群中的一隻公綿羊［ram］。
|
|
20 And of the sons1121 of Immer;564 Hanani,2607 and Zebadiah.2069
|
20 音麥的子孫中，有哈拿尼、西巴第雅。
|
|
21 And of the sons1121 of Harim;2766 Maaseiah,4641 and Elijah,452 and Shemaiah,8098 and Jehiel,3171 and Uzziah.5818
|
21 哈琳的子孫中，有瑪西雅、以利雅、示瑪雅、耶歇、烏西雅。
|
|
22 And of the sons1121 of Pashur;6583 Elioenai,454 Maaseiah,4641 Ishmael,3458 Nethaneel,5417 Jozabad,3107 and Elasah.501
|
22 巴施戶珥的子孫中，有以利約乃、瑪西雅、以實瑪利、拿坦業、約撒拔、以利亞撒。
|
|
23 Also of the Levites;3881 Jozabad,3107 and Shimei,8096 and Kelaiah,7041 (the same1933 is Kelita,7042) Pethahiah,6611 Judah,3063 and Eliezer.461
|
23 利未人中，有約撒拔、示每、基拉雅（基拉雅就是基利他），還有毗他希雅、猶大、以利以謝。
|
|
24 Of the singers7891 also; Eliashib:475 and of the porters;7778 Shallum,7967 and Telem,2928 and Uri.221
|
24 歌唱的人中有以利亞實。守門的人中，有沙龍、提聯、烏利。
|
|
25 Moreover of Israel:3478 of the sons1121 of Parosh;6551 Ramiah,7422 and Jeziah,3150 and Malchiah,4441 and Miamin,4326 and Eleazar,499 and Malchijah,4441 and Benaiah.1141
|
25 以色列人巴錄的子孫中，有拉米、耶西雅、瑪基雅、米雅民、以利亞撒、瑪基雅、比拿雅。
|
|
26 And of the sons1121 of Elam;5867 Mattaniah,4983 Zechariah,2148 and Jehiel,3171 and Abdi,5660 and Jeremoth,3406 and Eliah.452
|
26 以攔的子孫中，有瑪他尼、撒迦利亞、耶歇、押底、耶利末、以利雅。
|
|
27 And of the sons1121 of Zattu;2240 Elioenai,454 Eliashib,475 Mattaniah,4983 and Jeremoth,3406 and Zabad,2066 and Aziza.5819
|
27 薩土的子孫中，有以利約乃、以利亞實、瑪他尼、耶利末、撒拔、亞西撒。
|
|
28 Of the sons1121 also of Bebai;893 Jehohanan,3076 Hananiah,2608 Zabbai,2079 and Athlai.6270
|
28 比拜的子孫中，有約哈難、哈拿尼雅、薩拜、亞勒。
|
|
29 And of the sons1121 of Bani;1137 Meshullam,4918 Malluch,4409 and Adaiah,5718 Jashub,3437 and Sheal,7594 and Ramoth.3406
|
29 巴尼的子孫中，有米書蘭、瑪鹿、亞大雅、雅述、示押、耶利末。
|
|
30 And of the sons1121 of Pahathmoab;6355 Adna,5733 and Chelal,3636 Benaiah,1141 Maaseiah,4641 Mattaniah,4983 Bezaleel,1212 and Binnui,1131 and Manasseh.4519
|
30 巴哈．摩押的子孫中，有阿底拿、基拉、比拿雅、瑪西雅、瑪他尼、比撒列、賓內、瑪拿西。
|
|
31 And of the sons1121 of Harim;2766 Eliezer,461 Ishijah,3449 Malchiah,4441 Shemaiah,8098 Shimeon,8095
|
31 哈琳的子孫中，有以利以謝、伊示雅、瑪基雅、示瑪雅、西緬、
|
|
32 Benjamin,1144 Malluch,4409 and Shemariah.8114
|
32 便雅憫、瑪鹿、示瑪利雅。
|
|
33 Of the sons1121 of Hashum;2828 Mattenai,4982 Mattathah,4992 Zabad,2066 Eliphelet,467 Jeremai,3413 Manasseh,4519 and Shimei.8096
|
33 哈順的子孫中，有瑪特乃、瑪達他、撒拔、以利法列、耶利買、瑪拿西、示每。
|
|
34 Of the sons1121 of Bani;1137 Maadai,4572 Amram,6019 and Uel,177
|
34 巴尼的子孫中，有瑪玳、暗蘭、烏益、
|
|
35 Benaiah,1141 Bedeiah,912 Chelluh,3622
|
35 比拿雅、比底雅、基祿、
|
|
36 Vaniah,2057 Meremoth,4822 Eliashib,475
|

|
|

|
43 尼波的子孫中，有耶利、瑪他提雅、撒拔、西比拿、雅玳、約珥、比拿雅。
|
|
44 All3605 these428 had taken5375 strange5237 wives:802 and some of them had3426 wives802 by whom they had7760 children.1121
|
44 這些人都娶了外邦女子為妻，其中也有生了兒女的。
