Глава 5

1 Они переправились на другую сторону моря, к земле герасинцев.

2 Как только Иисус вышел из лодки, навстречу Ему из гробниц выскочил человек, одержимый нечистым духом.

3 Человек этот жил в гробницах, и никто не мог связать его даже цепями:

4 его уже много раз сковывали по рукам и ногам, но он всегда разрывал цепи и разбивал кандалы на ногах. Никто не мог усмирить его.

5 Днем и ночью он бродил среди могил и по горам и с диким криком бил себя камнями.

6 Увидев Иисуса издалека, он подбежал к Нему, поклонился

7 и закричал во весь голос: — Что Ты от меня хочешь, Иисус, Сын Всевышнего Бога? Заклинаю Тебя Богом, не мучь меня! —

8 потому что Иисус говорил ему: «Выйди, нечистый дух, из этого человека».

9 Иисус спросил его: — Как тебя зовут? — Меня зовут Легион, — ответил тот, — потому что нас много.

10 И он настойчиво умолял Иисуса не выгонять их из тех мест.

11 А там у горы в это время паслось большое стадо свиней,

12 и нечистые духи попросили Иисуса: — Позволь нам войти в этих свиней.

13 Иисус позволил, и нечистые духи, выйдя из человека, вошли в свиней. Все стадо, около двух тысяч голов, тут же ринулось с обрыва в озеро и утонуло в нем.

14 А свинопасы побежали и рассказали о случившемся в городе и в окрестностях. Сбежался народ посмотреть, что произошло.

15 Подойдя к Иисусу, они увидели, что бывший одержимый, в котором был легион демонов, сидит одетый и в здравом уме, и они испугались.

16 Очевидцы же рассказали им, как все произошло с одержимым и со свиньями.

17 Тогда местные жители стали просить Иисуса покинуть их края.

18 Когда Иисус садился в лодку, то человек, который был одержим демонами, стал просить, чтобы Он взял его с Собой,

19 но Иисус отказал ему. — Ступай домой к своим родным, — сказал Он, — и расскажи им, что сделал для тебя Господь, и какую милость Он к тебе проявил.

20 Тот пошел и стал рассказывать в Десятиградии о том, что сделал для него Иисус. Его рассказ приводил всех в изумление.

21 Когда Иисус переправился в лодке обратно на другую сторону озера, вокруг Него на берегу собралась большая толпа.

22 Тут пришел Иаир, один из начальников синагоги. Он, увидев Иисуса, пал к Его ногам

23 и стал умолять: — Моя маленькая дочь умирает, приди и возложи на нее руки, чтобы она исцелилась и осталась жива.

24 Иисус пошел с ним, а за Иисусом следовала большая толпа и теснила Его со всех сторон.

25 Там была женщина, двенадцать лет страдавшая кровотечением.

26 Она натерпелась от многих врачей, истратила на лечение все, что у нее было, но не получила никакой помощи, напротив, ей становилось все хуже.

27 Она слышала об Иисусе, и поэтому она подошла сзади к Нему сквозь толпу и прикоснулась к Его одежде.

28 «Если я хоть к одежде Его прикоснусь, то исцелюсь», — говорила она себе.

29 Ее кровотечение сразу же остановилось, и она почувствовала, что исцелена.

30 А Иисус мгновенно почувствовал, что из Него вышла сила. Он обернулся в толпе и спросил: — Кто прикоснулся к Моей одежде?

31 Ученики ответили Ему: — Ты же видишь, что толпа теснит Тебя со всех сторон. Что же Ты спрашиваешь, кто к Тебе прикоснулся?

32 Но Иисус обводил толпу взглядом, чтобы увидеть ту, которая это сделала.

33 Женщина, дрожа от страха и зная, что с ней произошло, подошла, упала к Его ногам и рассказала всю правду.

34 Тогда Иисус сказал ей: — Дочь Моя, твоя вера исцелила тебя! Иди с миром и будь здорова от своего недуга.

35 Пока Иисус еще говорил, пришли люди из дома начальника синагоги и передали: — Твоя дочь умерла, зачем еще беспокоить Учителя?

36 Но Иисус, не обращая внимания на их слова, сказал начальнику синагоги: — Не бойся, только верь!

37 Он не позволил идти с Ним никому, кроме Петра, Иакова и Иоанна, брата Иакова.

38 Когда они подошли к дому начальника, Он увидел смятение. Люди плакали и причитали.

39 Иисус вошел в дом и спросил их: — Почему вы так скорбите и плачете? Девочка не умерла, она спит.

40 Над Ним начали смеяться. Но Иисус велел всем выйти, а Сам с отцом и матерью девочки и своими спутниками вошел в комнату, где она лежала.

41 Взяв ее за руку, Иисус сказал: — Талита, кум! (Что значит: «Девочка, говорю тебе: встань!»)

42 Девочка сразу встала и начала ходить (ей было лет двенадцать). Все были сильно удивлены.

43 Но Иисус строго наказал им, чтобы никто не узнал о случившемся, а девочку велел покормить.

Chapter 5

1 AND they reached the port on the other side of the sea, in the country of the Gadarenes.

2 And as he went out of the boat, he was met by a man from the cemetery, who had an unclean spirit.

3 He lived in the cemetery, and no man could bind him in chains;

4 Because whenever he was bound with fetters and chains, he broke the chains and cut the fetters, and no man could control him.

5 And always, night and day, he was in the cemetery and in the mountains, crying aloud and cutting himself with stones.

6 When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshipped him,

7 And he cried with a loud voice and said, What have we got together, Jesus, Son of the most high God? I adjure you by God, not to torment me.

8 For he said to him, Get out of the man, O you unclean spirit.

9 And he asked him, What is your name? And he said to him, Our name is Legion, because we are many.

10 And he begged him much that he would not send him out of the country.

11 Now there was there, near the mountain a large herd of swine feeding.

12 And the lunatics begged him saying, Send us to the swine, that we may attack * them.

13 And he permitted them. And the lunatics went out, and attacked the swine; and the herd ran to the steep rocks, and fell into the sea; they were about two thousand, and they were drowned in the water.

14 And those who fed them, fled, and told it in the city and also in the villages. So they went out to see what had happened.

15 And they came to Jesus, and saw the lunatic, * clothed and well behaved, and sitting down; even the one who once had the legion within him; and they were afraid.

16 And those who saw it told them just how it happened to the lunatic and also to the swine.

17 So they began to urge him to leave their border.

18 As he went up to the boat, the lunatic begged him to remain with him.

19 And he would not permit him, but said to him, Go to your home, to your own people, and tell them what the Lord has done for you, and had mercy on you.

20 And he went away, and began to preach in the ten cities about what Jesus had done for him; and they were all surprised.

21 When Jesus crossed in the boat to the other side, large crowds again gathered around him, while he was by the sea.

22 And there came one of the leaders of the synagogue, whose name was Jairus; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,

23 And he beseeched him much and said to him, My daughter is very seriously ill; come and lay your hand on her, and she will be healed, and live.

24 So Jesus went with him; and a large multitude followed him, and they pressed on him.

25 And there was a woman who had had the hemorrhage for twelve years,

26 Who had suffered much at the hands of many doctors, and had spent everything she had, and was not helped at all, but rather became worse.

27 When she heard concerning Jesus, she came through the dense crowd from behind him, and touched his cloak.

28 For she said, If I can only touch his cloak, I will live.

29 And immediately the hemorrhage was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.

30 Jesus instantly knew that some power had gone out of him; so he turned around to the people and said, Who touched my garments?

31 His disciples said to him, You see the people pressing on you, and yet you say, Who touched me?

32 And he was looking round to see who had done this.

33 But the woman, frightened and trembling, because she knew what had happened to her, came and fell before him and told him the whole truth.

34 He said to her, My daughter, your faith has healed you; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.

35 While he was still talking, some men came from the house of the leader of the synagogue, saying, Your daughter is dead; why do you trouble the Teacher?

36 Jesus heard the word which they spoke, and he said to the leader of the synagogue, Fear not, only believe.

37 And he did not permit any man to go with him, except Simon Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.

38 And they came to the house of the leader of the synagogue, and he saw them in a tumult, weeping and wailing.

39 So he entered and said to them, Why are you excited and crying? The little girl is not dead, but she is asleep.

40 And they laughed at him. But Jesus put them all out, and took the little girl's father and mother and those who were with him, and he entered where the little girl was laid.

41 And he took the little girl by her hand, and said to her, Talitha, koomi, which means, Little girl, rise up.

42 And immediately the little girl got up and walked; for she was twelve years old. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.

43 But he commanded them that no man should know this; and he told them to give her something to eat.

2 Как только Иисус вышел из лодки, навстречу Ему из гробниц выскочил человек, одержимый нечистым духом.	2 And as he went out of the boat, he was met by a man from the cemetery, who had an unclean spirit.
3 Человек этот жил в гробницах, и никто не мог связать его даже цепями:	3 He lived in the cemetery, and no man could bind him in chains;
4 его уже много раз сковывали по рукам и ногам, но он всегда разрывал цепи и разбивал кандалы на ногах. Никто не мог усмирить его.	4 Because whenever he was bound with fetters and chains, he broke the chains and cut the fetters, and no man could control him.
5 Днем и ночью он бродил среди могил и по горам и с диким криком бил себя камнями.	5 And always, night and day, he was in the cemetery and in the mountains, crying aloud and cutting himself with stones.
6 Увидев Иисуса издалека, он подбежал к Нему, поклонился	6 When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshipped him,
7 и закричал во весь голос: — Что Ты от меня хочешь, Иисус, Сын Всевышнего Бога? Заклинаю Тебя Богом, не мучь меня! —	7 And he cried with a loud voice and said, What have we got together, Jesus, Son of the most high God? I adjure you by God, not to torment me.
8 потому что Иисус говорил ему: «Выйди, нечистый дух, из этого человека».	8 For he said to him, Get out of the man, O you unclean spirit.
9 Иисус спросил его: — Как тебя зовут? — Меня зовут Легион, — ответил тот, — потому что нас много.	9 And he asked him, What is your name? And he said to him, Our name is Legion, because we are many.
10 И он настойчиво умолял Иисуса не выгонять их из тех мест.	10 And he begged him much that he would not send him out of the country.
11 А там у горы в это время паслось большое стадо свиней,	11 Now there was there, near the mountain a large herd of swine feeding.
12 и нечистые духи попросили Иисуса: — Позволь нам войти в этих свиней.	12 And the lunatics begged him saying, Send us to the swine, that we may attack * them.
13 Иисус позволил, и нечистые духи, выйдя из человека, вошли в свиней. Все стадо, около двух тысяч голов, тут же ринулось с обрыва в озеро и утонуло в нем.	13 And he permitted them. And the lunatics went out, and attacked the swine; and the herd ran to the steep rocks, and fell into the sea; they were about two thousand, and they were drowned in the water.
14 А свинопасы побежали и рассказали о случившемся в городе и в окрестностях. Сбежался народ посмотреть, что произошло.	14 And those who fed them, fled, and told it in the city and also in the villages. So they went out to see what had happened.
15 Подойдя к Иисусу, они увидели, что бывший одержимый, в котором был легион демонов, сидит одетый и в здравом уме, и они испугались.	15 And they came to Jesus, and saw the lunatic, * clothed and well behaved, and sitting down; even the one who once had the legion within him; and they were afraid.
16 Очевидцы же рассказали им, как все произошло с одержимым и со свиньями.	16 And those who saw it told them just how it happened to the lunatic and also to the swine.
17 Тогда местные жители стали просить Иисуса покинуть их края.	17 So they began to urge him to leave their border.
18 Когда Иисус садился в лодку, то человек, который был одержим демонами, стал просить, чтобы Он взял его с Собой,	18 As he went up to the boat, the lunatic begged him to remain with him.
19 но Иисус отказал ему. — Ступай домой к своим родным, — сказал Он, — и расскажи им, что сделал для тебя Господь, и какую милость Он к тебе проявил.	19 And he would not permit him, but said to him, Go to your home, to your own people, and tell them what the Lord has done for you, and had mercy on you.

22 Тут пришел Иаир, один из начальников синагоги. Он, увидев Иисуса, пал к Его ногам	22 And there came one of the leaders of the synagogue, whose name was Jairus; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,
23 и стал умолять: — Моя маленькая дочь умирает, приди и возложи на нее руки, чтобы она исцелилась и осталась жива.	23 And he beseeched him much and said to him, My daughter is very seriously ill; come and lay your hand on her, and she will be healed, and live.
24 Иисус пошел с ним, а за Иисусом следовала большая толпа и теснила Его со всех сторон.	24 So Jesus went with him; and a large multitude followed him, and they pressed on him.
25 Там была женщина, двенадцать лет страдавшая кровотечением.	25 And there was a woman who had had the hemorrhage for twelve years,
26 Она натерпелась от многих врачей, истратила на лечение все, что у нее было, но не получила никакой помощи, напротив, ей становилось все хуже.	26 Who had suffered much at the hands of many doctors, and had spent everything she had, and was not helped at all, but rather became worse.
27 Она слышала об Иисусе, и поэтому она подошла сзади к Нему сквозь толпу и прикоснулась к Его одежде.	27 When she heard concerning Jesus, she came through the dense crowd from behind him, and touched his cloak.
28 «Если я хоть к одежде Его прикоснусь, то исцелюсь», — говорила она себе.	28 For she said, If I can only touch his cloak, I will live.
29 Ее кровотечение сразу же остановилось, и она почувствовала, что исцелена.	29 And immediately the hemorrhage was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.
30 А Иисус мгновенно почувствовал, что из Него вышла сила. Он обернулся в толпе и спросил: — Кто прикоснулся к Моей одежде?	30 Jesus instantly knew that some power had gone out of him; so he turned around to the people and said, Who touched my garments?
