1 Woe1945 to the bloody1818 city!5892 it is all3605 full4392 of lies3585 and robbery;6563 the prey2964 departs4185 not;

2 Слышны хлопанье6963 бича7752 и стук6963 крутящихся7494 колес,212 ржание1725 коня5483 и грохот скачущей7540 колесницы.4818

2 The noise6963 of a whip,7752 and the noise6963 of the rattling7494 of the wheels,212 and of the prancing1725 horses,5483 and of the jumping7540 chariots.4818

3 Несется5927 конница,6571 сверкает3851 меч2719 и блестят1300 копья;2595 убитых2491 множество7230 и груды3514 трупов:6297 нет конца7097 трупам,1472 спотыкаются37823782 о трупы1472 их.

3 The horseman6571 lifts5927 up both the bright3851 sword2719 and the glittering1300 spear:2595 and there is a multitude7230 of slain,2491 and a great3514 number of carcasses;6297 and there is none369 end7097 of their corpses;1472 they stumble3782 on their corpses:1472

5 Behold,2005 I am against413 you, said5002 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 and I will discover1540 your skirts7757 on your face,6440 and I will show7200 the nations1471 your nakedness,4626 and the kingdoms4467 your shame.7036

6 И забросаю7993 тебя мерзостями,8251 сделаю5034 тебя презренною5034 и выставлю7760 тебя на позор.7210

6 And I will cast7993 abominable8251 filth on you, and make you vile,5034 and will set7760 you as a spectacle.7210
|

7 И будет то, что всякий, увидев7200 тебя, побежит5074 от тебя и скажет:559 «разорена7703 Ниневия!5210 Кто пожалеет5110 о ней? где370 найду1245 я утешителей5162 для тебя?»

7 And it shall come1961 to pass, that all3605 they that look7200 on you shall flee5074 from you, and say,559 Nineveh5210 is laid waste:7703 who4310 will bemoan5110 her? from where370 shall I seek1245 comforters5162 for you?

11 Так и ты — опьянеешь7937 и скроешься;5956 так и ты будешь1245 искать1245 защиты4581 от неприятеля.341

11 You also1571 shall be drunken:7937 you shall be hid,5956 you also1571 shall seek1245 strength4581 because of the enemy.341

12 Все укрепления4013 твои подобны смоковнице8384 со спелыми1061 плодами:1061 если тряхнуть5128 их, то они упадут5307 прямо в рот6310 желающего398 есть.398

12 All3605 your strong4013 holds4013 shall be like fig8384 trees with the first ripe1063 figs: if518 they be shaken,5128 they shall even fall5307 into5921 the mouth6310 of the eater.398

13 Вот, и народ5971 твой, как женщины802 у7130 тебя: врагам341 твоим настежь6605 отворятся6605 ворота8179 земли776 твоей, огонь784 пожрет398 запоры1280 твои.

13 Behold,2009 your people5971 in the middle7130 of you are women:802 the gates8179 of your land776 shall be set wide6605 open6605 to your enemies:341 the fire784 shall devour398 your bars.1280

14 Начерпай7579 воды4325 на время осады;4692 укрепляй2388 крепости4013 твои; пойди935 в грязь,2916 топчи7429 глину,2563 исправь2388 печь для обжигания4404 кирпичей.4404
|
14 Draw7579 you waters4325 for the siege,4692 fortify2388 your strong4013 holds:4013 go935 into clay,2916 and tread7429 the mortar,2563 make strong2388 the brick kiln.4404

15 Там пожрет398 тебя огонь,784 посечет3772 тебя меч,2719 поест398 тебя как гусеница,3218 хотя бы ты умножился3513 как гусеница,3218 умножился3513 как саранча.697

15 There8033 shall the fire784 devour398 you; the sword2719 shall cut3772 you off, it shall eat398 you up like the cankerworm:3218 make yourself many3513 as the cankerworm,3218 make yourself many3513 as the locusts.697

16 Купцов7402 у тебя стало7235 более,7235 нежели звезд3556 на небе;8064 но эта саранча3218 рассеется6584 и улетит.5774
|
16 You have multiplied7235 your merchants7402 above the stars3556 of heaven:8064 the cankerworm3218 spoils,6584 and flees5775 away.

17 Your crowned4502 are as the locusts,697 and your captains2951 as the great1462 grasshoppers,1462 which camp2583 in the hedges1448 in the cold7135 day,3117 but when the sun8121 rises2224 they flee5074 away, and their place4725 is not known3045 where335 they are.

18 Спят5123 пастыри7462 твои, царь4428 Ассирийский,804 покоятся7931 вельможи117 твои; народ5971 твой рассеялся6335 по горам,2022 и некому собрать6908 его.

18 Your shepherds7462 slumber,5123 O king4428 of Assyria:804 your nobles117 shall dwell7931 in the dust: your people5971 is scattered6340 on the mountains,2022 and no369 man gathers6908 them.

19 Нет врачевства3545 для раны7667 твоей, болезненна2470 язва4347 твоя. Все, услышавшие8085 весть8088 о тебе, будут8628 рукоплескать37098628 о тебе, ибо на кого не простиралась5674 беспрестанно8548 злоба7451 твоя?

19 There is no369 healing3545 of your bruise;7667 your wound4347 is grievous:2470 all3605 that hear8085 the bruit8088 of you shall clap8628 the hands3709 over5921 you: for on whom4310 has not your wickedness7451 passed5674 continually?8548
