第14章

1 推羅王希蘭遣使至大闢、攜柏香木、偕木工石工、爲之建宮。

2 大闢知耶和華立己爲以色列族王。以色列民卽其民、故昌大其邦。

3 大闢在耶路撒冷更娶后妃、誕育子女、

4 在耶路撒冷所生者、臚列於左、沙母亞、說巴、拿單、所羅門。

5 益轄、以利書亞、以利法列、

6 那加、尼弗、耶非亞、

7 以利沙馬、比利亞大、以利法列。

8 非利士人聞大闢受膏、爲以色列族王、前來攻擊。大闢知之、則出迎敵。

9 非利士人至、遍於哩乏音谷。

10 大闢問耶和華曰、非利士人、我當往攻之乎、爾其以彼付我手乎。耶和華曰、往哉、我必付彼於爾手。

11 敵至巴勒比哩心、大闢擊之、曰、上帝破敵於我前、若水決而分流、故名其地曰、巴勒比哩心。

12 敵遺其上帝像、大闢命焚之。

13 非利士人復至、遍於斯谷。

14 大闢詢上帝、上帝曰、爾勿往前、宜襲其後、在桑林相對之所。

15 如聞步履之聲、出於桑杪、則當速戰、蓋上帝已先爾而行、擊非利士人軍旅、

16 大闢遵上帝命而擊非利士人軍旅、自基遍至伽息。

17 大闢之名洋溢乎四方、耶和華使列國畏之。

1 Chronicles

Chapter 14

1 Now Hiram2438 king4428 of Tyre6865 sent7971 messengers4397 to David,1732 and timber6086 of cedars,730 with masons2796 7023 and carpenters,2796 6086 to build1129 him an house.1004

2 And David1732 perceived3045 that the LORD3068 had confirmed3559 him king4428 over5921 Israel,3478 for his kingdom4438 was lifted5375 up on high,4605 because5668 of his people5971 Israel.3478

3 And David1732 took3947 more5750 wives802 at Jerusalem:3389 and David1732 begat3205 more5750 sons1121 and daughters.1323

4 Now these428 are the names8034 of his children3205 which834 he had1961 in Jerusalem;3389 Shammua,8051 and Shobab,7727 Nathan,5416 and Solomon,8010

5 And Ibhar,2984 and Elishua,474 and Elpalet,467

6 And Nogah,5052 and Nepheg,5298 and Japhia,3309

7 And Elishama,476 and Beeliada,1182 and Eliphalet.467

8 And when the Philistines6430 heard8085 that David1732 was anointed4886 king4428 over5921 all3605 Israel,3478 all3605 the Philistines6430 went5927 up to seek1245 David.1732 And David1732 heard8085 of it, and went3318 out against6640 them.

9 And the Philistines6430 came935 and spread6584 themselves in the valley6010 of Rephaim.7497

10 And David1732 inquired7592 of God,430 saying,559 Shall I go5927 up against5921 the Philistines?6430 And will you deliver5414 them into my hand?3027 And the LORD3068 said559 to him, Go5927 up; for I will deliver5414 them into your hand.3027

11 So they came5927 up to Baalperazim;1188 and David1732 smote5221 them there.8033 Then David1732 said,559 God430 has broken6555 in on my enemies341 by my hand3027 like the breaking6556 forth7971 of waters:4325 therefore5921 3651 they called7121 the name8034 of that place4725 Baalperazim.1188

12 And when they had left5800 their gods430 there,8033 David1732 gave a commandment,559 and they were burned8313 with fire.784

13 And the Philistines6430 yet5750 again3254 spread6584 themselves abroad6584 in the valley.6010

14 Therefore David1732 inquired7592 again5750 of God;430 and God430 said559 to him, Go5927 not up after310 them; turn5437 away from them, and come935 on them over4136 against4136 the mulberry1057 trees.

15 And it shall be, when you shall hear8085 a sound6963 of going6807 in the tops7218 of the mulberry1057 trees, that then227 you shall go3318 out to battle:4421 for God430 is gone3318 forth3318 before6440 you to smite5221 the host4264 of the Philistines.6430

16 David1732 therefore did6213 as God430 commanded6680 him: and they smote5221 the host4264 of the Philistines6430 from Gibeon1391 even to Gazer.1507

17 And the fame8034 of David1732 went3318 out into all3605 lands;776 and the LORD3068 brought5414 the fear6343 of him on all3605 nations.1471

11 敵至巴勒比哩心、大闢擊之、曰、上帝破敵於我前、若水決而分流、故名其地曰、巴勒比哩心。

11 So they came5927 up to Baalperazim;1188 and David1732 smote5221 them there.8033 Then David1732 said,559 God430 has broken6555 in on my enemies341 by my hand3027 like the breaking6556 forth7971 of waters:4325 therefore5921 3651 they called7121 the name8034 of that place4725 Baalperazim.1188

12 敵遺其上帝像、大闢命焚之。

12 And when they had left5800 their gods430 there,8033 David1732 gave a commandment,559 and they were burned8313 with fire.784

13 非利士人復至、遍於斯谷。

13 And the Philistines6430 yet5750 again3254 spread6584 themselves abroad6584 in the valley.6010

16 大闢遵上帝命而擊非利士人軍旅、自基遍至伽息。

16 David1732 therefore did6213 as God430 commanded6680 him: and they smote5221 the host4264 of the Philistines6430 from Gibeon1391 even to Gazer.1507

17 大闢之名洋溢乎四方、耶和華使列國畏之。
