第15章

1 以色列王耶羅破暗二十七年、猶大王、亞馬謝子、烏西亞卽位、

2 乃耶路撒冷婦耶可利所出、年十有六爲王、於耶路撒冷、凡歷五十二年、

3 行善於耶和華前、於父亞馬謝所爲、是則是效、

4 惟崇邱猶不廢、民仍獻祭焚香於其上。

5 耶和華降罰王躬、使患癩疾、終身不愈、異室獨居、王子約担治理家事、以鞫兆民。

6 烏西亞事實、備載於猶大列王紀畧。

7 烏西亞旣薨、與列祖同葬、於大闢之城、子約担繼位。

8 按猶大王烏西亞王三十八年、則耶羅破暗子撒加利亞在撒馬利亞爲王、治理以色列、僅歷六月、

9 於耶和華前所行不善、濟列祖之惡、恒從尼八子耶羅破暗所爲、使以色列族陷罪。

10 雅疋子沙龍叛於衆民前、弒王篡位。

11 撒加利亞事實、備載於以色列列王紀畧。

12 昔耶和華諭耶戶曰、爾之子孫、必踐以色列國位、爰及四代、今此言應矣。

13 猶大王烏西亞三十五年、雅疋子沙龍在撒馬利亞卽位、僅歷一月。

14 伽底子米拿現、自得撒往撒馬利亞擊雅疋子沙龍、而篡國位。

15 沙龍事實、及其謀爲不軌、備載於以色列列王紀畧。

16 初的薩人不啟邑門、納米拿現、故自得撒至的薩、攻擊四境、殺戮居民、刳剔孕婦。

17 猶大王烏西亞三十九年、伽底子米拿現、治以色列、在撒馬利亞爲王、凡歷十年、

18 行惡於耶和華前、在位之日、恒從尼八子耶羅破暗所爲、使以色列族陷罪。

19 亞述王卜來攻斯土、米拿現以金一百五十萬餽卜、請其輔助、鞏固其國。

20 以色列巨室米拿現令各出金二十五兩、輸於亞述王、於是亞述王反旆、不居斯土。

21 米拿現事實、備載於以色列列王紀畧。

22 米拿現旣薨、子比加轄繼位。

23 猶大王烏西亞五十年、米拿現子比加轄治以色列、在撒馬利亞爲王、僅歷二年、

24 行惡於耶和華前、恒從尼八子耶羅破暗所爲、使以色列族陷罪。

25 其武士長哩馬利子比迦叛、與亞咯、亞哩、基列人五十、同謀在撒馬利亞宮、弒王篡位。

26 比加轄事實、備載於以色列列王紀畧。

27 猶大王烏西亞五十二年、哩馬利子比迦治以色列、在撒馬利亞爲王、凡歷二十年、

28 行惡於耶和華前、恒從尼八子耶羅破暗所爲、使以色列族陷罪。

29 比迦在位之時、亞述王滴臘比利斯至、陷以雲、亞伯伯馬迦、雜挪、基特、夏朔、基列、加利利、納大利四境、擄其民人、至於亞述。

30 烏西亞子約担二十年、以拉子何西叛哩馬利子比迦、弒子而篡其位。

31 比迦事實、備載於以色列列王紀畧。

32 按以色列王哩馬利子比迦二年、猶大王、烏西亞子約担卽位、

33 乃撒督女耶魯沙所出、年二十有五、卽位於耶路撒冷、凡歷十六年、

34 行善於耶和華前、於父烏西亞所爲、是則是效、

35 惟崇邱猶不廢、民仍獻祭焚香於其上、約担建耶和華殿之崇門。

36 約担事實、備載於猶大列王紀畧。

37 是時耶和華使亞蘭王哩汛、及哩馬利子比迦、往攻猶大。

38 約担旣薨、與列祖同葬於大闢之城、子亞哈士繼位。

2 Kings

Chapter 15

1 IN the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Uzziah the son of Amaziah king of Judah, began to reign.

2 He was sixteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jechoaniah of Jerusalem.

3 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done;

4 But the temple of idols he did not remove; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.

5 And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and he dwelt in a house in seclusion. And Jotham the king's son was over the house, judging the people of the land.

6 Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah.

7 So Uzziah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David; and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.

8 In the thirty-eighth year of Uzziah king of Judah, Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reigned over Israel in Samaria six months.

9 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father hath done; he did not turn aside from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin.

10 And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him and smote him before the people and killed him, and reigned in his stead.

11 And the rest of the acts of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

12 Thus was fulfilled the word of the LORD which he spoke to Jehu, saying, Your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation. And so it came to pass.

13 Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.

14 For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah and came to Samaria and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him and reigned in his stead.

15 Now the rest of the acts of Shallum and the conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

16 Then Menahem smote Tiphsah and all who were in it and the territory thereof from Tirzah; because they did not open the gate to him, therefore he smote it; and he ripped up all the women in it that were with child.

17 In the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah, Menahem the son of Gadi began to reign over Israel and he reigned ten years in Samaria.

18 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he did not turn aside all his days from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin.

19 And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land; and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver to help him and to confirm the kingdom in his hand.

20 And Menahem levied taxes upon Israel, even on all wealthy men of the land, each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back and stayed not there in the land.

21 And the rest of the acts of Menahem and all that he did, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

22 And Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his stead.

23 In the fiftieth year of Uzziah king of Judah, Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and he reigned two years.

24 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he did not turn aside from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin.

25 But Pekah the son of Romaliah, his mighty man, conspired against him and slew him in Samaria in the palace of the king's house; he took with him Argob and Lani and fifty men of the Gileadites, and he killed him and reigned in his stead.

26 And the rest of the acts of Pekahiah and all that he did, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

27 In the fifty-second year of Uzziah king of Judah, Pekah the son of Romaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and he reigned twenty years.

28 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he did not turn aside from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin.

29 In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria came and took Ijon, Abel, Mehola, and all Beth-maachah, and Niah, Kedesh, Hazor, Gilead, and Galilee, and all the land of Naphtali, and carried the people captive to Assyria.

30 And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Romaliah, and smote him and slew him and reigned in his stead in the second year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.

31 And the rest of the acts of Pekah and all that he did, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

32 In the second year of Pekah the son of Romaliah king of Israel, Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah, began to reign.

33 He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.

34 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah had done.

35 But the temple of idols he did not remove; the people sacrificed and burned incense still on the high places. He built the upper gate of the house of the LORD.

36 Now the rest of the acts of Jotham and all that he did, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah.

37 In those days the LORD began to provoke against Judah Rezin the king of Aram and Pekah the son of Romaliah.

38 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David; and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.

8 按猶大王烏西亞王三十八年、則耶羅破暗子撒加利亞在撒馬利亞爲王、治理以色列、僅歷六月、	8 In the thirty-eighth year of Uzziah king of Judah, Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reigned over Israel in Samaria six months.
9 於耶和華前所行不善、濟列祖之惡、恒從尼八子耶羅破暗所爲、使以色列族陷罪。	9 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father hath done; he did not turn aside from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin.
10 雅疋子沙龍叛於衆民前、弒王篡位。	10 And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him and smote him before the people and killed him, and reigned in his stead.
11 撒加利亞事實、備載於以色列列王紀畧。	11 And the rest of the acts of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
12 昔耶和華諭耶戶曰、爾之子孫、必踐以色列國位、爰及四代、今此言應矣。	12 Thus was fulfilled the word of the LORD which he spoke to Jehu, saying, Your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation. And so it came to pass.
13 猶大王烏西亞三十五年、雅疋子沙龍在撒馬利亞卽位、僅歷一月。	13 Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.
14 伽底子米拿現、自得撒往撒馬利亞擊雅疋子沙龍、而篡國位。	14 For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah and came to Samaria and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him and reigned in his stead.
15 沙龍事實、及其謀爲不軌、備載於以色列列王紀畧。	15 Now the rest of the acts of Shallum and the conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
16 初的薩人不啟邑門、納米拿現、故自得撒至的薩、攻擊四境、殺戮居民、刳剔孕婦。	16 Then Menahem smote Tiphsah and all who were in it and the territory thereof from Tirzah; because they did not open the gate to him, therefore he smote it; and he ripped up all the women in it that were with child.
17 猶大王烏西亞三十九年、伽底子米拿現、治以色列、在撒馬利亞爲王、凡歷十年、	17 In the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah, Menahem the son of Gadi began to reign over Israel and he reigned ten years in Samaria.
18 行惡於耶和華前、在位之日、恒從尼八子耶羅破暗所爲、使以色列族陷罪。	18 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he did not turn aside all his days from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin.
19 亞述王卜來攻斯土、米拿現以金一百五十萬餽卜、請其輔助、鞏固其國。	19 And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land; and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver to help him and to confirm the kingdom in his hand.
20 以色列巨室米拿現令各出金二十五兩、輸於亞述王、於是亞述王反旆、不居斯土。	20 And Menahem levied taxes upon Israel, even on all wealthy men of the land, each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back and stayed not there in the land.
