|
1 禍哉，那些下埃及求幫助─仗賴［stay on］馬匹，因為車輛甚多就倚靠［and trust in chariots, because they are many］、因為馬兵甚壯就投靠［and in horsemen, because they are very strong］、卻不仰望以色列的聖者，也不求問耶和華的［that］。

1 Woe1945 to them that go down3381 to Egypt4714 for help;5833 and stay8172 on5921 horses,5483 and trust982 in5921 chariots,7393 because3588 they are many;7227 and in5921 horsemen,6571 because3588 they are very strong;6105 3966 but they look8159 not3808 unto5921 the Holy One6918 of Israel,3478 neither3808 seek1875 the LORD!3068

2 只是他也［Yet he also］有智慧，也［and］必降災禍，並不收回［call back］自己的話；卻要興起攻擊那作惡之家，又攻擊那幫助作孽之人［the help of them that work iniquity］的。

2 Yet he1931 also1571 is wise,2450 and will bring935 evil,7451 and will not3808 call back5493 his words:1697 but will arise6965 against5921 the house1004 of the evildoers,7489 and against5921 the help5833 of them that work6466 iniquity.205

3 埃及人不過是人，並不是神；他們的馬不過是血肉，並不是靈。耶和華一伸手，那幫助人的必跌倒［fall］，那受幫助的也必倒下［fall down］，都一同跌倒［fall］。

3 Now the Egyptians4714 are men,120 and not3808 God;410 and their horses5483 flesh,1320 and not3808 spirit.7307 When the LORD3068 shall stretch out5186 his hand,3027 both he that helpeth5826 shall fall,3782 and he that is helped5826 shall fall down,5307 and they all3605 shall fail3615 together.3162

4 耶和華對我如此說：獅子和少壯獅子護食咆哮，就是喊成眾的［a multitude of］牧人來攻擊牠，牠總不因他們的聲音害怕［afraid］，也不因他們的響聲［noise］縮伏；照樣［so］，大軍之耶和華也必降臨，為錫安山岡［for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof］爭戰。

4 For3588 thus3541 hath the LORD3068 spoken559 unto413 me, Like as834 the lion738 and the young lion3715 roaring1897 on5921 his prey,2964 when834 a multitude4393 of shepherds7462 is called forth7121 against5921 him, he will not3808 be afraid2865 of their voice,4480 6963 nor3808 abase6031 himself for the noise4480 1995 of them: so3651 shall the LORD3068 of hosts6635 come down3381 to fight6633 for5921 mount2022 Zion,6726 and for5921 the hill1389 thereof.

5 雀鳥怎樣飛行［flying］，大軍之耶和華也要照樣保護耶路撒冷；他必保護拯救；又［and］要越門保守。

5 As birds6833 flying,5774 so3651 will the LORD3068 of hosts6635 defend1598 5921 Jerusalem;3389 defending1598 also he will deliver5337 it; and passing over6452 he will preserve4422 it.

6 以色列人［children of Israel］深深地叛逆耶和華，現今你們［ye］要歸向他。
|
6 Turn7725 ye unto him from whom834 the children1121 of Israel3478 have deeply6009 revolted.5627
|
|
7 到那日，各人必將他銀［sliver］偶像金［gold］偶像，就是你們［your］親手所造、陷自己在罪中的，都拋棄了。
|
7 For3588 in that1931 day3117 every man376 shall cast away3988 his idols457 of silver,3701 and his idols457 of gold,2091 which834 your own hands3027 have made6213 unto you for a sin.2399

|
8 亞述人必倒在刀下，並非勇士［mighty man］的刀；有刀要將他吞滅，並非卑賤人［mean man］的刀。只是［but］他必逃避這刀；他的少年人必被擾亂［discomfited］。

8 Then shall the Assyrian804 fall5307 with the sword,2719 not3808 of a mighty man;376 and the sword,2719 not3808 of a mean man,120 shall devour398 him: but he shall flee5127 from4480 6440 the sword,2719 and his young men970 shall be1961 discomfited.4522

9 他必因驚恐往他的保障去［he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear］，他的首領必因大旗害怕［afraid］，這是那有火在錫安、有爐在耶路撒冷的耶和華說的。
|
9 And he shall pass over5674 to his stronghold5553 for fear,4480 4032 and his princes8269 shall be afraid2865 of the ensign,4480 5251 saith5002 the LORD,3068 whose834 fire217 is in Zion,6726 and his furnace8574 in Jerusalem.3389
