第8章

1 智者大聲而呼、

2 立崇坵之地、通衢之所、

3 邑門出入之處、揚聲曰、

4 凡百庶民、宜聽我言、

5 愚者學智慧、拙者明厥心。

6 我所言者、善也義也、尚其聽從。

7 我口所述、真實是尚、凡諸妄言、我痛疾之。

8 公義是談、非禮不言。

9 智者必以我言爲然、明者必以我言爲宜。

10 宜承我教、明哲是求、過於羨慕金銀也。

11 斯智也、貴於琅玕、凡爾所欲、不得與之比儗。

12 我素稱智慧、技能機巧、咸我所長。

13 寅畏耶和華者、疾惡而弗為、志傲行暴者、皆我所深惡。

14 我有智謀、我有明慧、我有膂力。

15 列王群伯、世之士師、皆惟我是恃、治理天下。

17 愛我者我亦愛之、汲汲求我者、必得之。

18 富貴在我、仁義在我。

19 我之結果、愈於兼金、我之土產、愈於白銀。

20 使人由義路、行直徑。

21 愛我者、得貨財、充府庫。

22 越在古昔、造化之始、我與耶和華共在。

23 自元始、天地之先、我已爲尊、

24 未有深淵、未有源泉、未有山岡、已有我矣。

26 大地田野、塵寰平陸、俱未締造、我已在矣。

27 主創造穹蒼、圓包環海、我亦同在。

28 上排天雲、下置淵泉、

29 命海水勿越其限、定地維不失其界、

30 我亦偕在、與主締造、見悅於主、我於其前、常得懽樂。

31 降於塵寰、與民同樂。

32 爾小子、宜聽我言、守我道者、則有福祉。

33 聽教勿違、以學智慧。

34 恒侍門側、聽我教訓者、永受綏祉。
