|
1 「我已將這些事告訴你們，使你們不至於生氣［offended］。
|
1 These5023 things have I spoken2980 to you, that you should not be offended.4624
|
|
2 人要把你們趕出會堂，並且時候將到，凡殺你們的就以為是事奉神。
|
2 They shall put4160 you out of the synagogues:656 yes,235 the time5610 comes,2064 that whoever3956 3588 kills615 you will think1380 that he does4374 God2316 service.2999
|
|
3 他們對你們［unto you］這樣行，是因未曾認識父，也未曾認識我。
|
3 And these5023 things will they do4160 to you, because3754 they have not known1097 the Father,3962 nor3761 me.
|
|
4 我將這些事［these things］告訴你們，是叫你們到了時候可以想起我對你們說過了。我起先沒有將這些事［these things］告訴你們，因為我與你們同在。
|
4 But these5023 things have I told2980 you, that when3752 the time5610 shall come,2064 you may remember3421 that I told2036 you of them. And these5023 things I said2036 not to you at1537 the beginning,746 because3754 I was with you.
|
|
5 現今我往差我來的父那裏去，你們中間並沒有人問我：『你往哪裏去？』
|
5 But now3568 I go5217 my way to him that sent3992 me; and none3762 of you asks2065 me, Where4226 go5217 you?
|
|
6 只因我將這些事［these things］告訴你們，你們就滿心憂愁。
|
6 But because3754 I have said2980 these5023 things to you, sorrow3077 has filled4137 your5216 heart.2588
|
|
7 然而，我將真理［truth］告訴你們，我去是與你們有益的；我若不去，安慰者［Comforter］就不到你們這裏來；我若離去［depart］，就差他到你們這裏［unto you］來。
|
7 Nevertheless235 I tell3004 you the truth;225 It is expedient4851 for you that I go565 away:565 for if1437 I go565 not away,565 the Comforter3875 will not come2064 to you; but if1437 I depart,4198 I will send3992 him to you.
|
|
8 他既來了，就要［will］為罪、為義、為審判責備世人［reprove the world］。
|
8 And when he is come,2064 he will reprove1651 the world2889 of sin,266 and of righteousness,1343 and of judgment:2920
|
|
9 為罪，是因他們不信我；
|
9 Of sin,266 because3754 they believe4100 not on1519 me;
|
|
10 為義，是因我往我［my］父那裏去，你們就不再見我；
|
10 Of righteousness,1343 because3754 I go5217 to my Father,3962 and you see2334 me no3765 more;2089
|
|
11 為審判，是因這世界的王受了審判。」
|
11 Of judgment,2920 because3754 the prince758 of this5127 world2889 is judged.2919
|
|
12 「我還有許多［many］事要告訴你們，但你們現在擔當不了［cannot bear］。
|
12 I have2192 yet2089 many4183 things to say3004 to you, but you cannot3756 1410 bear941 them now.737
|
|
13 只等真理的靈［Spirit］來了，他要引導你們進入［into］一切的真理；因為他不是憑自己說的，乃是把他所聽見的都說出來，並要把將來的事告訴你們。
|
13 However, when3752 he, the Spirit4151 of truth,225 is come,2064 he will guide3594 you into1519 all3956 truth:225 for he shall not speak2980 of himself;1438 but whatever3745 302 he shall hear,191 that shall he speak:2980 and he will show312 you things to come.2064
|
|
14 他要榮耀我，因為他要將受於我的指示［shew］你們。
|
14 He shall glorify1392 me: for he shall receive2983 of mine,1699 and shall show312 it to you.
|
|
15 凡父所有的，都是我的；所以我說，他要將受於我的指示［shew］你們。」
|
15 All3956 things that the Father3962 has2192 are mine:1699 therefore1223 5124 said2036 I, that he shall take2983 of mine,1699 and shall show312 it to you.
|
|
16 「等不多時，你們就不得見我；再等不多時，你們還要見我，因我往父那裏去［because I go to the Father］。」
|
16 A little3397 while, and you shall not see2334 me: and again,3825 a little3397 while, and you shall see3700 me, because3754 I go5217 to the Father.3962
|
|
17 有幾個門徒就彼此說：「他對我們說：『等不多時，你們就不得見我；再等不多時，你們還要見我。』又說：『因我往父那裏去。』這是甚麼意思呢？」
|
17 Then3767 said2036 some of his disciples3101 among4314 themselves,240 What5101 is this5124 that he said3004 to us, A little3397 while, and you shall not see2334 me: and again,3825 a little3397 while, and you shall see3700 me: and, Because3754 I go5217 to the Father?3962

|
18 門徒彼此說：「他說『等不多時』到底是甚麼意思呢？我們道不出［cannot tell］他所說的是甚麼［what］。」
|
18 They said3004 therefore,3767 What5101 is this5124 that he said,3004 A little3397 while? we cannot3756 1492 tell1492 what5101 he said.2980
|
|
19 耶穌知道［knew］他們要問他，就說：「我說『等不多時，你們就不得見我；再等不多時，你們還要見我』，你們為這話彼此相問嗎？
|
19 Now3767 Jesus2424 knew1097 that they were desirous2309 to ask2065 him, and said2036 to them, Do you inquire2212 among3326 yourselves240 of that I said,2036 A little3397 while, and you shall not see2334 me: and again,3825 a little3397 while, and you shall see3700 me?
|
|
20 我實實在在的告訴你們，你們將要痛哭、哀號，世人倒要喜樂；你們將要憂愁，然而你們的憂愁要變為喜樂。
|
20 Truly,281 truly,281 I say3004 to you, That you shall weep2799 and lament,2354 but the world2889 shall rejoice:5463 and you shall be sorrowful,3076 but your5216 sorrow3077 shall be turned1096 into1519 joy.5479
|
|
21 婦人陣痛［travail］的時候就憂愁，因為她的時候到了；既生了孩子，就不再記念那苦楚，因為歡喜世上生了一個人。
|
21 A woman1135 when3752 she is in travail5088 has2192 sorrow,3077 because3754 her hour5610 is come:2064 but as soon3752 as she is delivered1080 of the child,3813 she remembers3421 no3765 more2089 the anguish,2347 for joy5479 that a man444 is born1080 into1519 the world.2889

22 你們現在也是憂愁；但我要再見你們，你們的心就喜樂了，這喜樂也沒有人能奪去。
|
22 And you now3568 therefore3767 have2192 sorrow:3077 but I will see3700 you again,3825 and your5216 heart2588 shall rejoice,5463 and your5216 joy5479 no3762 man3762 takes142 from you.
|
|
23 到那日，你們甚麼也就不問我了。我實實在在的告訴你們，你們若奉我的名［in my name］向父求甚麼，他必賜給你們［he will give it you］。
|
23 And in that day2250 you shall ask2065 me nothing.3762 Truly,281 truly,281 I say3004 to you, Whatever3748 302 you shall ask154 the Father3962 in my name,3686 he will give1325 it you.
|
|
24 向來你們沒有奉我的名求甚麼，如今你們求，就必得著，叫你們的喜樂可以滿足。」
|
24 Till now2193 737 have you asked154 nothing3762 in my name:3686 ask,154 and you shall receive,2983 that your5216 joy5479 may be full.4137
|
|
25 「這些事，我是用比喻對你們說的；時候將到，我不再用比喻對你們說，乃要將父明明的顯給［shew］你們。
|
25 These5023 things have I spoken2980 to you in proverbs:3942 but the time5610 comes,2064 when3753 I shall no3765 more2089 speak2980 to you in proverbs,3942 but I shall show312 you plainly3954 of the Father.3962
|
|
26 到那日，你們要奉我的名祈求；我並不對你們說，我要為你們求父。
|
26 At1722 that day2250 you shall ask154 in my name:3686 and I say3004 not to you, that I will pray2065 the Father3962 for you:
|
|
27 父自己愛你們；因為你們已經愛我，又信我是從神［God］出來的。
|
27 For the Father3962 himself846 loves5368 you, because3754 you have loved5368 me, and have believed4100 that I came1831 out from God.2316
|
|
28 我從父出來，到了世界；我又離開世界，往父那裏去。」
|
28 I came1831 forth1831 from the Father,3962 and am come2064 into1519 the world:2889 again,3825 I leave863 the world,2889 and go4198 to the Father.3962
|
|
29 門徒說：「看哪［lo］，如今你是明說，並不用比喻了。
|
29 His disciples3101 said3004 to him, See,2396 now3568 speak2980 you plainly,3954 and speak3004 no3762 proverb.3942
|
|
30 現在我們確知［sure］你凡事都知道，也不用人問你；因此我們信你是從神出來的。」
|
30 Now3568 are we sure1492 that you know1492 all3956 things, and need2192 5532 not that any5100 man should ask2065 you: by this5129 we believe4100 that you came1831 forth1831 from God.2316

|
31 耶穌說：「現在你們信嗎？
|
31 Jesus2424 answered611 them, Do you now737 believe?4100
|
|
32 看哪，時候將到，且是已經到了，你們要分散，各歸自己的地方去，留下我獨自一人；其實我不是獨自一人，因為有父與我同在。
|
32 Behold,2400 the hour5610 comes,2064 yes,2532 is now3568 come,2064 that you shall be scattered,4650 every1538 man to his own,2398 and shall leave863 me alone:3441 and yet I am1510 not alone,3441 because3754 the Father3962 is with me.
|
|
33 我將這些事告訴你們，是要叫你們在我裏面有平安。在世上，你們有苦難；但你們可以放心，我已經勝了世界。」
|
33 These5023 things I have spoken2980 to you, that in me you might have2192 peace.1515 In the world2889 you shall have2192 tribulation:2347 but be of good cheer;2293 I have overcome3528 the world.2889
