1 這些［these］事以後，耶穌在加利利行走［walked］，不願在猶太行走［walk］，因為猶太人想要殺他。

|
2 Now1161 the3588 Jews'2453 feast1859 of tabernacles4634 was2258 at hand.1451
|
2 當時猶太人的住棚節近了。
|
|
3 His846 brethren80 therefore3767 said2036 unto4314 him,846 Depart3327 hence,1782 and2532 go5217 into1519 Judea,2449 that2443 thy4675 disciples3101 also2532 may see2334 the3588 works2041 that3739 thou doest.4160

3 耶穌的弟兄就對他說：「你離開這裏上猶太去吧，叫你的門徒也看見你所行的事。
|
|
4 For1063 there is no man3762 that doeth4160 any thing5100 in1722 secret,2927 and2532 he846 himself seeketh2212 to be1511 known openly.1722 3954 If1487 thou do4160 these things,5023 show5319 thyself4572 to the3588 world.2889
|
4 人要顯揚名聲，沒有在暗處行事的；你如果行這些事，就當將自己顯明給世人看。」
|
|
5 For1063 neither3761 did his846 brethren80 believe4100 in1519 him.846
|
5 因為連他的弟兄也［neither］不信他。
|
|
6 Then3767 Jesus2424 said3004 unto them,846 My1699 time2540 is not yet3768 come: 3918 but1161 your5212 time2540 is2076 always3842 ready.2092
|
6 耶穌就對他們說：「我的時候還沒有到；你們的時候常是方便的。
|
|
7 The3588 world2889 cannot1410 3756 hate3404 you;5209 but1161 me1691 it hateth,3404 because3754 I1473 testify3140 of4012 it,846 that3754 the3588 works2041 thereof846 are2076 evil.4190
|
7 世人不能恨你們，卻是恨我，因為我指證他們所作的事是惡的。
|
|
8 Go ye up305 5210 unto1519 this5026 feast: 1859 I1473 go not up yet305 3768 unto1519 this5026 feast;1859 for3754 my1699 time2540 is not yet3768 full come.4137
|
8 你們上去過節吧。我現在還［yet］不上去過這節；因為我的時候還沒有滿。」
|
|
9 When1161 he had said2036 these words5023 unto them,846 he abode3306 still in1722 Galilee.1056
|
9 耶穌對他們［unto them］說了這些［these］話，仍舊住在加利利。
|
|
10 But1161 when5613 his846 brethren80 were gone up,305 then5119 went he also up305 846 2532 unto1519 the3588 feast,1859 not3756 openly,5320 but235 as it were5613 in1722 secret.2927
|
10 但他弟兄上去以後，他也上去過節，不是明去，似乎是暗去的。
|
|
11 Then3767 the3588 Jews2453 sought2212 him846 at1722 the3588 feast,1859 and2532 said,3004 Where4226 is2076 he?1565
|
11 正在節期，猶太人尋找耶穌，說：「他在哪裏？」
|
|
12 And2532 there was2258 much4183 murmuring1112 among1722 the3588 people3793 concerning4012 him:846 for1063 some3588 3303 said,3004 He is2076 a good man:18 1161 others243 said,3004 Nay;3756 but235 he deceiveth4105 the3588 people.3793
|
12 百姓［people］為他紛紛議論，因［for］有的說：「他是好人。」有的說：「不然；他是迷惑人［people］的。」
|
|
13 Howbeit3305 no man3762 spake2980 openly3954 of4012 him846 for1223 fear5401 of the3588 Jews.2453
|
13 只是沒有人明明的講論他，因為怕猶太人。
|
|
14 Now1161 about2235 the midst3322 of the3588 feast1859 Jesus2424 went up305 into1519 the3588 temple,2411 and2532 taught.1321
|
14 節期之間［Now about the midst of the feast］，耶穌上殿裏去教訓人。
|
|
15 And2532 the3588 Jews2453 marveled,2296 saying,3004 How4459 knoweth1492 this man3778 letters,1121 having never3361 learned?3129
|
15 猶太人就希奇，說：「這個人沒有學過，怎麼明白書呢？」
|
|
16 Jesus2424 answered611 them,846 and2532 said,2036 My1699 doctrine1322 is2076 not3756 mine,1699 but235 his that sent3992 me.3165
|
16 耶穌回答他們［answered them］說：「我的道理［doctrine］不是我自己的，乃是那差我來者的。
|
|
17 If1437 any man5100 will2309 do4160 his846 will,2307 he shall know1097 of4012 the3588 doctrine,1322 whether4220 it be2076 of1537 God,2316 or2228 whether I1473 speak2980 of575 myself.1683
|
17 人若立志遵著他的旨意行，就必曉得這道理［doctrine］或是出於神，或是我憑著自己說的。
|
|
18 He that speaketh2980 of575 himself1438 seeketh2212 his own2398 glory: 1391 but1161 he that seeketh2212 his glory1391 that sent3992 him,846 the same3778 is2076 true,227 and2532 no3756 unrighteousness93 is2076 in1722 him.846
|
18 人憑著自己說，是求自己的榮耀；唯有求那差他來者的榮耀，這人是真的，在他心裏沒有不義。
|
|
19 Did not3756 Moses3475 give1325 you5213 the3588 law,3551 and2532 yet none3762 of1537 you5216 keepeth4160 the3588 law?3551 Why5101 go ye about2212 to kill615 me?3165
|
19 摩西豈不是傳律法給你們嗎？你們卻沒有一個人守律法。為甚麼想要殺我呢？」
|
|
20 The3588 people3793 answered611 and2532 said,2036 Thou hast2192 a devil:1140 who5101 goeth about2212 to kill615 thee?4571
|
20 百姓［people］回答說：「你是被鬼魔［devil］附著了。誰想要殺你？」
|
|
21 Jesus2424 answered611 and2532 said2036 unto them,846 I have done4160 one1520 work,2041 and2532 ye all3956 marvel.2296
|
21 耶穌對他們［unto them］說：「我作了一件事，你們都以為希奇。
|
|
22 Moses3475 therefore1223 5124 gave1325 unto you5213 circumcision;4061 (not3756 because3754 it is2076 of1537 Moses,3475 but235 of1537 the3588 fathers;)3962 and2532 ye on1722 the sabbath day4521 circumcise4059 a man.444
|
22 摩西傳割禮給你們（其實不是從摩西起的，乃是從祖先起的），因此你們也在安息日給人行割禮。
|
|
23 If1487 a man444 on1722 the sabbath day4521 receive2983 circumcision,4061 that2443 the3588 law3551 of Moses3475 should not3361 be broken;3089 are ye angry5520 at me,1698 because3754 I have made4160 a man444 every whit3650 whole5199 on1722 the sabbath day?4521
|
23 人若在安息日受割禮，免得違背摩西的律法，我在安息日叫一個人全然好了，你們就向我生氣嗎？
|
|
24 Judge2919 not3361 according2596 to the appearance,3799 but235 judge2919 righteous1342 judgment.2920
|
24 不可按表面［appearance］斷定是非，總要按公義［righteousness］斷定是非。」
|
|
25 Then3767 said3004 some5100 of1537 them of Jerusalem,2415 Is2076 not3756 this3778 he, whom3739 they seek2212 to kill?615
|
25 耶路撒冷人中有的說：「這不是他們想要殺的人嗎？
|
|
26 But,2532 lo,2396 he speaketh2980 boldly,3954 and2532 they say3004 nothing3762 unto him.846 Do3379 the3588 rulers758 know1097 indeed230 that3754 this3778 is2076 the3588 very230 Christ?5547
|
26 你看他還放膽［boldly］講道，他們也不向他說甚麼，難道官長真知道這是那位［very］基督麼？
|
|
27 Howbeit235 we know1492 this man5126 whence4159 he is:2076 but1161 when3752 Christ5547 cometh,2064 no man3762 knoweth1097 whence4159 he is.2076
|
27 然而，我們知道這個人從哪裏來；只是基督來的時候，沒有人知道他從哪裏來。」
|
|
28 Then3767 cried2896 Jesus2424 in1722 the3588 temple2411 as he taught,1321 2532 saying,3004 Ye both know me,2504 1492 and2532 ye know1492 whence4159 I am: 1510 and2532 I am not3756 come2064 of575 myself,1683 but235 he that sent3992 me3165 is2076 true,228 whom3739 ye5210 know1492 not.3756

28 那時，耶穌在殿裏教訓人，大聲說：「你們也知道我，也知道我從哪裏來；我來並不是由於自己。但那差我來的是真的。你們不認識他，
|
|
29 But1161 I1473 know1492 him: 846 for3754 I am1510 from3844 him,846 and he2548 hath sent649 me.3165
|
29 我卻認識他；因為我是從他來的，他也是差了我來。」
|
|
30 Then3767 they sought2212 to take4084 him:846 but2532 no man3762 laid1911 hands5495 on1909 him,846 because3754 his846 hour5610 was not yet3768 come.2064
|
30 他們就想要捉拿耶穌；只是沒有人下手，因為他的時候還沒有到。
|
|
31 And1161 many4183 of1537 the3588 people3793 believed4100 on1519 him,846 and2532 said,3004 When3752 Christ5547 cometh,2064 will he3385 do4160 more4119 miracles4592 than these5130 which3739 this3778 man hath done?4160
|
31 百姓［people］中間有許多［many］信他的，說：「基督來的時候，他所行的神蹟豈能比這人所行的更多嗎？」
|
|
32 The3588 Pharisees5330 heard191 that the3588 people3793 murmured1111 such things5023 concerning4012 him;846 and2532 the3588 Pharisees5330 and2532 the3588 chief priests749 sent649 officers5257 to2443 take4084 him.846
|
32 法利賽人聽見百姓［people］為耶穌這樣紛紛議論；祭司長和法利賽人就打發差役去捉拿他。
|
|
33 Then3767 said2036 Jesus2424 unto them,846 Yet2089 a little3398 while5550 am1510 I with3326 you,5216 and2532 then I go5217 unto4314 him that sent3992 me.3165
|
33 於是耶穌對他們［unto them］說：「我還有不多的時候和你們同在，以後就回到差我來的那裏去。
|
|
34 Ye shall seek2212 me,3165 and2532 shall not3756 find2147 me: and2532 where3699 I1473 am,1510 thither ye5210 cannot1410 3756 come.2064
|
34 你們要找我，卻找不著；我所在的地方你們不能到。」
|
|
35 Then3767 said2036 the3588 Jews2453 among4314 themselves,1438 Whither4226 will3195 he3778 go,4198 that3754 we2249 shall not3756 find2147 him?846 will3195 he3361 go4198 unto1519 the3588 dispersed1290 among the3588 Gentiles,1672 and2532 teach1321 the3588 Gentiles?1672
|
35 猶太人就彼此對問說：「這人要往哪裏去，叫我們找不著呢？難道他要往散住外邦［Gentiles］中的猶太人那裏去教訓外邦人［Gentiles］麼？
|
|
36 What5101 manner of saying3056 is2076 this3778 that3739 he said,2036 Ye shall seek2212 me,3165 and2532 shall not3756 find2147 me: and2532 where3699 I1473 am,1510 thither ye5210 cannot1410 3756 come?2064
|
36 他說：『你們要找我，卻找不著；我所在的地方，你們不能到。』這話是甚麼意思呢？」
|
|
37 In1722 the3588 last2078 day,2250 that great3173 day of the3588 feast,1859 Jesus2424 stood2476 and2532 cried,2896 saying,3004 If1437 any man5100 thirst,1372 let him come2064 unto4314 me,3165 and2532 drink.4095
|
37 節期的末日，就是最大之日，耶穌站著高聲說：「人若渴了，可以到我這裏來喝。
|
|
38 He that believeth4100 on1519 me,1691 as2531 the3588 Scripture1124 hath said,2036 out of1537 his846 belly2836 shall flow4482 rivers4215 of living2198 water.5204
|
38 信我的人就如聖經［scripture］上所說：『從他腹中要流出活水的江河來。』」
|
|
39 (But1161 this5124 spake2036 he of4012 the3588 Spirit,4151 which3739 they that believe4100 on1519 him846 should3195 receive:2983 for1063 the Holy40 Ghost4151 was2258 not yet3768 given; because3754 that Jesus2424 was not yet3764 glorified.)1392
|
39 （耶穌這話是指著信他之人，要受靈［Spirit］而［of］說的，那時還沒有賜下聖靈來，因為耶穌尚未得著榮耀。）
|
|
40 Many4183 of1537 the3588 people3793 therefore,3767 when they heard191 this saying,3056 said,3004 Of a truth230 this3778 is2076 the3588 Prophet.4396
|
40 那時［when］，百姓既［people therefore］聽見這話，多有［Many］說：「這真是那先知。」
|
|
41 Others243 said,3004 This3778 is2076 the3588 Christ.5547 But1161 some243 said,3004 Shall1063 3361 Christ5547 come2064 out of1537 Galilee?1056
|
41 有的說：「這是基督。」但也有的說：「基督豈是從加利利出來的嗎？
|
|
42 Hath not3780 the3588 Scripture1124 said,2036 That3754 Christ5547 cometh2064 of1537 the3588 seed4690 of David,1138 and2532 out of575 the3588 town2968 of Bethlehem,965 where3699 David1138 was?2258
|
42 聖經［scripture］上豈不是說『基督是大衛的後裔，從大衛本鄉伯利恆出來的』嗎？」
|
|
43 So3767 there was1096 a division4978 among1722 the3588 people3793 because1223 of him.846
|
43 於是民中［among the people］因著耶穌有了［was］紛爭。
|
|
44 And1161 some5100 of1537 them846 would2309 have taken4084 him;846 but235 no man3762 laid1911 hands5495 on1909 him.846
|
44 其中有人要捉拿他，只是無人下手。
|
|
45 Then3767 came2064 the3588 officers5257 to4314 the3588 chief priests749 and2532 Pharisees;5330 and2532 they1565 said2036 unto them,846 Why1302 have ye not3756 brought71 him?846
|
45 差役回到祭司長和法利賽人那裏。他們對差役說：「你們為甚麼沒有帶他來呢？」
|
|
46 The3588 officers5257 answered,611 Never3763 man444 spake2980 like5613 this3778 man.444
|
46 差役回答說：「從來沒有人［man］像他這樣說話的。」
|
|
47 Then3767 answered611 them846 the3588 Pharisees,5330 Are3361 ye5210 also2532 deceived?4105
|
47 法利賽人說：「你們也受了迷惑嗎？
|
|
48 Have any3387 of1537 the3588 rulers758 or2228 of1537 the3588 Pharisees5330 believed4100 on1519 him?846
|
48 官長或是法利賽人豈有信他的呢？
|
|
49 But235 this3778 people3793 who knoweth1097 not3361 the3588 law3551 are1526 cursed.1944
|
49 但這些不明白律法的百姓是被咒詛的。」
|
|
50 Nicodemus3530 saith3004 unto4314 them,846 (he that came2064 to4314 Jesus846 by night,3571 being5607 one1520 of1537 them,)846
|
50 內中有尼哥德慕，（就是從前夜裏［by night］去見耶穌的，）對他們說：
|
|
51 Doth our2257 law3551 3361 judge2919 any man,444 before4386 3362 it hear191 him,846 and2532 know1097 what5101 he doeth?4160
|
51 「不先聽本人的口供，不知道他所作的事，難道我們的律法還定他的罪嗎？」
|
|
52 They answered611 and2532 said2036 unto him,846 Art1488 3361 thou4771 also2532 of1537 Galilee?1056 Search,2045 and2532 look:1492 for3754 out of1537 Galilee1056 ariseth1453 no3756 prophet.4396
|
52 他們回答他［him］說：「你也是出於加利利嗎？你且去查看［look］；加利利［Galilee］原是［for］沒有出過先知。」
|
|
53 And2532 every man1538 went4198 unto1519 his own848 house.3624
|
53 於是各人都回家去了［And every man went unto his own house］。
