箴言

第14章

1 惟此室家、哲婦建之、愚婦毀之。

2 行正直者、畏耶和華、行邪曲者、藐視之。

3 愚者之詞傲、有若杖箠、哲人之言遜、可保其身。

4 家不畜牛、則倉廩空虛、牛能耕作、則物產增加。

5 言不誑者、可以作證、無實之人、則不可。

6 侮慢者、求智而不能、明哲者、學道而易得。

7 聞不智之言、則亟遠其人。

8 智者自知、謂之眞智、愚者自欺、謂之眞愚。

9 愚人作惡、視之若戲、義者爲善、自有眞樂。

10 人懷憂愁、惟堪自喻、人有喜樂、衆不及知。

11 惡者之室必傾圮、義人之家必振興。

12 有自以其道爲是者、不知其終歸於敗亡。

13 有殷憂而強爲懽笑者，其後常慼慼。

14 背道者取戻、行善者得賞。

15 愚者妄信人言、智人自顧其行、

16 智人恐懼而避惡、愚人矜誇而縱慾。

17 易怒者妄爲、謀不軌者見惡。

18 拙者日以愚、智者日以達。

19 惡者鞠躬奔走善人之門。

20 貧乏則鄰里蔬之、富厚則衆人亦愛之。

21 凌辱人者陷於罪戾、矜憫貧者可納福祉。

22 謀不軌者、適以自害、思爲善者、必蒙實惠。

23 勤勞有益、多言致貧。

24 智而富、能善用其財、愚而尊、亦畢生愚蠢。

25 眞證救人、妄證欺人。

26 畏耶和華者毅然恃之、耶和華視之若子、必加愛護。

27 畏耶和華者得生命之泉、脫致死之網。

28 維彼君王、得民則尊、失民則敗。

29 怒不遽發者、乃彰其智、性躁急者、適形其愚。

30 秉性溫良者身生、衷懷嫉妒者骨朽。

31 瘧遇貧乏者、侮造化之主、矜憫窮民者、則尊之。

32 惡人行橫逆而見驅、義者雖死亡而有望。

33 智者之心、道藏於内、愚人之衷、淺而易露。

34 仁義則邦以興、否則國以辱。

35 王恩寵施於良臣、震怒及乎頑僕。
