彌迦書

第3章

1 我說：雅各的首領，以色列家的官長啊，你們當［pray］聽。你們不當知道公平嗎？

2 你們惡善好惡，從人身上剝皮，從人骨頭上剔肉，

3 吃我民的肉，剝他們的皮，打折他們的骨頭，分成塊子像要下鍋，又像釜中的肉。

4 到了遭災的時候，這些人必哀求耶和華，他卻不聽允［hear］他們。那時他必照他們所行的惡事向他們掩面。

5 論到使我民走差路的先知─他們牙齒有所嚼的，他們就呼喊說：平安了。凡不供給他們吃的，他們就預備攻擊他［they even prepare war against him］─耶和華如此說：

6 你們必遭遇黑夜，以致不見異象；又必遭遇幽暗，以致不能占卜。日頭必向這等先知［prophets］沉落，白晝必［shall］向他們［them］變為黑暗。

7 先見必蒙羞［ashamed］，占卜的必抱愧［confounded］；他們［they］都必掩著嘴唇，因為神不應允他們。

8 至於我，我藉耶和華的靈，果真［truly］滿有力量、公平、才能，可以向雅各說明他的過犯，向以色列指出他的罪惡。

9 雅各家的首領、以色列家的官長啊，當聽我的話。你們厭惡公平，在一切事上屈枉公正［equity］；

10 以人血建立錫安，以罪孽建造耶路撒冷。

11 首領為賄賂行審判；祭司為雇價施訓誨；先知為錢［money］行占卜。他們卻倚賴耶和華，說：耶和華不是在我們中間嗎？災禍必不能［none evil can］臨到我們。

12 所以因你們的緣故，錫安必被耕種像一塊田，耶路撒冷必變為亂堆；這殿的山必像叢林的高處。

Micah

Chapter 3

1 And I said,559 Hear,8085 I pray4994 you, O heads7218 of Jacob,3290 and you princes7101 of the house1004 of Israel;3478 Is it not for you to know3045 judgment?4941

2 Who hate8130 the good,2896 and love157 the evil;7451 who pluck1497 off their skin5785 from off them, and their flesh7607 from off5921 their bones;6106

3 Who834 also eat398 the flesh7607 of my people,5971 and flay6584 their skin5785 from off5921 them; and they break6476 their bones,6106 and chop6566 them in pieces, as for the pot,5518 and as flesh1320 within8432 the caldron.7037

4 Then227 shall they cry2199 to the LORD,3068 but he will not hear6030 them: he will even hide5641 his face6440 from them at that time,6256 as they have behaved7489 themselves ill7489 in their doings.4611

5 Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 concerning5921 the prophets5030 that make my people5971 err,8582 that bite5391 with their teeth,8127 and cry,7121 Peace;7965 and he that puts5414 not into5921 their mouths,6310 they even prepare6942 war4421 against5921 him.

6 Therefore3651 night3915 shall be to you, that you shall not have a vision;2377 and it shall be dark2821 to you, that you shall not divine;7080 and the sun8121 shall go935 down over5921 the prophets,5030 and the day3117 shall be dark6937 over5921 them.

7 Then shall the seers2374 be ashamed,954 and the diviners7080 confounded:2659 yes, they shall all3605 cover5844 their lips;8222 for there is no369 answer4617 of God.430

8 But truly199 I am full4390 of power3581 by the spirit7307 of the LORD,3068 and of judgment,4941 and of might,1369 to declare5046 to Jacob3290 his transgression,6588 and to Israel3478 his sin.2403

9 Hear8085 this,2063 I pray4994 you, you heads7218 of the house1004 of Jacob,3290 and princes7101 of the house1004 of Israel,3478 that abhor8581 judgment,4941 and pervert6140 all3605 equity.3477

10 They build1129 up Zion6726 with blood,1818 and Jerusalem3389 with iniquity.5766

11 The heads7218 thereof judge8199 for reward,7810 and the priests3548 thereof teach3384 for hire,4242 and the prophets5030 thereof divine7080 for money:3701 yet will they lean8172 on the LORD,3068 and say,559 Is not the LORD3068 among7130 us? none3808 evil7451 can come935 on us.

12 Therefore3651 shall Zion6726 for your sake1558 be plowed2790 as a field,7704 and Jerusalem3389 shall become1961 heaps,5856 and the mountain2022 of the house1004 as the high1116 places of the forest.3293
