第34章

1 列國啊，要近前來聽；眾民哪，要側耳而聽。地和一切在其上的［all that is therein］，世界和其中一切所出的都應當聽。

2 因為耶和華向列國發忿恨，向他們的全軍發烈怒；他已［he hath］將他們滅盡，交出他們受殺戮。

3 他們［Their］被殺的必然拋棄，其臭氣從屍首上騰［their stink shall come up out of their carcases］，諸山被他們的血融化。

4 一切天象［all the host of heaven］都要消沒，諸天［heavens］被捲起，好像書卷；其上的天象要墜落［host shall fall down］，像葉子從葡萄樹下落［leaf falleth off from the vine］，又像無花果從無花果樹墜落［falling fig from the fig tree］一樣。

5 因為我的刀必泡浸在天［shall be bathed in heaven］；看哪［Behold］，這刀必臨到以東和我所咒詛的民，要施行審判。

6 耶和華的刀滿了血，用脂油和綿羊羔［lambs］、公山羊的血，並公綿羊腰子的脂油滋潤的；因為耶和華在波斯拉有獻祭的事，在以東地大行殺戮。

7 獨角獸［unicorns］、牛犢，和公牛要一同下來；他們的地必為血泡浸［shall be soaked with blood］，他們的塵土因脂油肥潤。

8 因這是耶和華報仇之日［it is the day of the LORD'S vengeance］，為錫安爭辯的報應之年［and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion］。

9 以東的河水要變為瀝青［pitch］，塵埃要變為硫磺；地土成為燒著的瀝青［pitch］，

10 晝夜總不熄滅；煙氣永遠上騰。必世世代代成為荒廢；永永遠遠無人經過。

11 鸕鶿［cormorant］、葦鳽［bittern］卻要得為業；貓頭鷹、烏鴉要住在其中［in it］。耶和華必將空虛的準繩，混沌的線鉈，拉在其上。

12 以東人要召貴族來治國，那裏卻無一個，她的［her］首領也都歸於無有。

13 她［her］的宮殿要長荊棘，保障要長蒺藜和刺草；要作龍［dragons］的住處，貓頭鷹［owls］的居所。

14 荒漠［desert］的走獸也必［shall also］和海島的走獸［wild beasts of the island］相遇，山羊人［satyr］要與伴偶對叫；尖叫的貓頭鷹［screech owl］必在那裏棲身，自找安歇之處。

15 貓頭鷹［great owl］要在那裏作窩，下蛋，孵蛋［hatch］，聚子在其影下；鷂鷹也［also］要［shall］各與伴偶聚集在那裏。

16 你們要查找［seek］宣讀耶和華的書；這都無一有誤［fail］，無一沒有伴偶；因為我的口已經吩咐，他的靈將牠們聚集。

17 他也為牠們擲籤［cast the lot］，又親手用準繩給牠們分地；牠們必永得為業，世世代代住在其間。

Chapter 34

1 Come7126 near,7126 you nations,1471 to hear;8085 and listen,7181 you people:3816 let the earth776 hear,8085 and all4393 that is therein;4393 the world,8398 and all3605 things that come6631 forth6631 of it.

2 For the indignation7110 of the LORD3068 is on all3605 nations,1471 and his fury2534 on all3605 their armies:6635 he has utterly destroyed2763 them, he has delivered5414 them to the slaughter.2874

3 Their slain2491 also shall be cast7993 out, and their stink889 shall come5927 up out of their carcasses,6297 and the mountains2022 shall be melted4549 with their blood.1818

4 And all3605 the host6635 of heaven8064 shall be dissolved,4743 and the heavens8064 shall be rolled1556 together as a scroll:5612 and all3605 their host6635 shall fall5034 down, as the leaf5929 falls5034 off from the vine,1612 and as a falling5034 fig8384 from the fig8384 tree.

5 For my sword2719 shall be bathed7301 in heaven:8064 behold,2009 it shall come3381 down3381 on Idumea,123 and on the people5971 of my curse,2764 to judgment.4941

6 The sword2719 of the LORD3068 is filled4390 with blood,1818 it is made fat1878 with fatness,2459 and with the blood1818 of lambs3733 and goats,6260 with the fat2459 of the kidneys3629 of rams:352 for the LORD3068 has a sacrifice2077 in Bozrah,1224 and a great1419 slaughter2874 in the land776 of Idumea.123

7 And the unicorns7214 shall come3381 down3381 with them, and the bullocks6499 with the bulls;47 and their land776 shall be soaked7301 with blood,1818 and their dust6083 made fat1878 with fatness.2459

8 For it is the day3117 of the LORD's3068 vengeance,5359 and the year8141 of recompenses7966 for the controversy7379 of Zion.6726

9 And the streams5158 thereof shall be turned2015 into pitch,2203 and the dust6083 thereof into brimstone,1614 and the land776 thereof shall become1961 burning1197 pitch.2203

10 It shall not be quenched3518 night3915 nor day;3119 the smoke6227 thereof shall go5927 up for ever:5769 from generation1755 to generation1755 it shall lie waste;2717 none369 shall pass5674 through it for ever5331 and ever.

11 But the cormorant6893 and the bittern7090 shall possess3423 it; the owl3244 also and the raven6158 shall dwell7931 in it: and he shall stretch5186 out on it the line6957 of confusion,8414 and the stones68 of emptiness.922

12 They shall call7121 the nobles2715 thereof to the kingdom,4410 but none369 shall be there,8033 and all3605 her princes8269 shall be nothing.657

13 And thorns5518 shall come5927 up in her palaces,759 nettles7057 and brambles2336 in the fortresses4013 thereof: and it shall be an habitation5116 of dragons,8577 and a court2681 for owls.1323 3284

14 The wild6728 beasts6728 of the desert6728 shall also meet6298 with the wild338 beasts338 of the island,338 and the satyr8163 shall cry7121 to his fellow;7453 the screech3917 owl3917 also389 shall rest7280 there,8033 and find4672 for herself a place of rest.4494

15 There8033 shall the great7091 owl7091 make her nest,7077 and lay,4422 and hatch,1234 and gather1716 under her shadow:6738 there8033 shall the vultures1772 also389 be gathered,6908 every802 one with her mate.7468

16 Seek1875 you out of the book5612 of the LORD,3068 and read:7121 no3808 one259 of these2007 shall fail,5737 none802 3808 shall want6485 her mate:7468 for my mouth6310 it has commanded,6680 and his spirit7307 it has gathered6908 them.

17 And he has cast5307 the lot1486 for them, and his hand3027 has divided2505 it to them by line:6957 they shall possess3423 it for ever,5769 from generation1755 to generation1755 shall they dwell7931 therein.

1 Come7126 near,7126 you nations,1471 to hear;8085 and listen,7181 you people:3816 let the earth776 hear,8085 and all4393 that is therein;4393 the world,8398 and all3605 things that come6631 forth6631 of it.

2 因為耶和華向列國發忿恨，向他們的全軍發烈怒；他已［he hath］將他們滅盡，交出他們受殺戮。

2 For the indignation7110 of the LORD3068 is on all3605 nations,1471 and his fury2534 on all3605 their armies:6635 he has utterly destroyed2763 them, he has delivered5414 them to the slaughter.2874

5 因為我的刀必泡浸在天［shall be bathed in heaven］；看哪［Behold］，這刀必臨到以東和我所咒詛的民，要施行審判。

5 For my sword2719 shall be bathed7301 in heaven:8064 behold,2009 it shall come3381 down3381 on Idumea,123 and on the people5971 of my curse,2764 to judgment.4941

11 But the cormorant6893 and the bittern7090 shall possess3423 it; the owl3244 also and the raven6158 shall dwell7931 in it: and he shall stretch5186 out on it the line6957 of confusion,8414 and the stones68 of emptiness.922

12 以東人要召貴族來治國，那裏卻無一個，她的［her］首領也都歸於無有。

12 They shall call7121 the nobles2715 thereof to the kingdom,4410 but none369 shall be there,8033 and all3605 her princes8269 shall be nothing.657

13 她［her］的宮殿要長荊棘，保障要長蒺藜和刺草；要作龍［dragons］的住處，貓頭鷹［owls］的居所。

13 And thorns5518 shall come5927 up in her palaces,759 nettles7057 and brambles2336 in the fortresses4013 thereof: and it shall be an habitation5116 of dragons,8577 and a court2681 for owls.1323 3284

14 荒漠［desert］的走獸也必［shall also］和海島的走獸［wild beasts of the island］相遇，山羊人［satyr］要與伴偶對叫；尖叫的貓頭鷹［screech owl］必在那裏棲身，自找安歇之處。

14 The wild6728 beasts6728 of the desert6728 shall also meet6298 with the wild338 beasts338 of the island,338 and the satyr8163 shall cry7121 to his fellow;7453 the screech3917 owl3917 also389 shall rest7280 there,8033 and find4672 for herself a place of rest.4494

15 貓頭鷹［great owl］要在那裏作窩，下蛋，孵蛋［hatch］，聚子在其影下；鷂鷹也［also］要［shall］各與伴偶聚集在那裏。

15 There8033 shall the great7091 owl7091 make her nest,7077 and lay,4422 and hatch,1234 and gather1716 under her shadow:6738 there8033 shall the vultures1772 also389 be gathered,6908 every802 one with her mate.7468

16 你們要查找［seek］宣讀耶和華的書；這都無一有誤［fail］，無一沒有伴偶；因為我的口已經吩咐，他的靈將牠們聚集。

16 Seek1875 you out of the book5612 of the LORD,3068 and read:7121 no3808 one259 of these2007 shall fail,5737 none802 3808 shall want6485 her mate:7468 for my mouth6310 it has commanded,6680 and his spirit7307 it has gathered6908 them.
