哥林多後書

第13章

1 這是我第三次要到你們那裏去。「憑兩三個人的口作見證，句句都要定準。」

2 我從前說過，如今不在你們那裏又寫信［write］說，正如我第二次見你們的時候所說的一樣，就是對那犯了罪的和其餘的人說：「我若再來，必不寬容。」

3 你們既然尋求基督在我裏面說話的憑據，我必不寬容。因為，基督在你們身上不是軟弱的，在你們裏面是有大能的。

4 他雖［though］因軟弱被釘在十字架上，卻因神的大能仍然活著。我們在他裏面［in him］也是這樣［also are］軟弱，但因神向你們所顯的大能，也必與他同活。

5 你們總要自己省察有信心沒有，也要自己試驗。豈不知你們若不是可棄絕的，就有耶穌基督在你們心裏嗎？

6 我卻相信［trust］你們曉得，我們不是可棄絕的人。

7 我［I］求神，叫你們一件惡事都不作；這不是要顯明我們是蒙悅納的，是要你們行事端正，任憑人看我們是被棄絕的吧。

8 我們凡事不能敵擋真理，只能扶助真理。

9 即使我們軟弱，你們剛強，我們也歡喜；並且我們所願［wish］的，就是你們作完全人。

10 所以，我不在你們那裏的時候，把這些［these］話寫給你們，免得［lest］我見你們的時候，照［according］主所給我的權柄嚴厲的待你們；這權柄原是為造就人，並不是為敗壞人。

11 還有末了的話；願弟兄們都喜樂。要作完全人；要受安慰；要同心合意；要彼此和睦。如此，仁愛和平的神必常與你們同在。

12 你們要以聖潔的親嘴彼此問安［Greet one another with an holy kiss］。

13 眾聖徒都問你們安。

14 願主耶穌基督的恩典［grace］，神的愛［love］，聖靈的相交［communion］，常與你們眾人同在。阿們［Amen］。

2 Corinthians

Chapter 13

1 THIS is the third time I am ready to come to you, for by the mouth of two or three witnesses every charge is sustained.

2 I have told you before, and again I tell you in advance, just as I have told you on my two previous visits; and now even while I am far away I write to those who have sinned, and to all others, that if I come again, I will not spare any one:

3 Since you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, he has never been weak among you, but is mighty in you.

4 For though Jesus was crucified through weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. As we are weak with him, so we are alive with him by the power of God who is among you.

5 Examine yourselves, whether you are in the same faith; heal your souls. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is among you? If this is not so, then you are rejected.

6 But I trust that you shall know that we are not rejected.

7 And I pray to God that our investigation will find nothing wrong with you; but that you may be found doing good things, even though we may appear as though we were rejected.

8 For we cannot do anything against the truth, but for the truth.

9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and you are strong: and this also we pray for, that you may be perfected.

10 Therefore I write these things while I am far away, so that when I come, I need not deal harshly with you, according to the authority which my LORD has given me, which is for your edification and not for your destruction.

11 Henceforth, my brethren, rejoice, be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

12 Greet one another with a holy kiss.

13 All the saints salute you.

14 The peace of our LORD Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen.

5 你們總要自己省察有信心沒有，也要自己試驗。豈不知你們若不是可棄絕的，就有耶穌基督在你們心裏嗎？

5 Examine yourselves, whether you are in the same faith; heal your souls. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is among you? If this is not so, then you are rejected.

6 我卻相信［trust］你們曉得，我們不是可棄絕的人。

6 But I trust that you shall know that we are not rejected.

7 And I pray to God that our investigation will find nothing wrong with you; but that you may be found doing good things, even though we may appear as though we were rejected.

8 For we cannot do anything against the truth, but for the truth.

10 Therefore I write these things while I am far away, so that when I come, I need not deal harshly with you, according to the authority which my LORD has given me, which is for your edification and not for your destruction.
