箴言

第6章

1 爾小子、如爾爲人中保、已有成言、自貽伊戚、

3 人執爾言以藉口、則必曲意以求之、勿復稍緩、猶可累不及己。

4 於斯時也、不遑假寐、不暇合膜、

5 惟以自救爲急務、如麀如禽、欲脫網罟。

6 怠惰者流、盍觀螻蟻、而法其智、

7 彼無俟長者之命、

8 夏時備糧、穡時斂物、

9 惟爾懈怠思寢、何時得巫。

10 爾束手而寢、言欲少寐、俄頃卽起、

11 不知貧乏之至、速於行旅、迅如武士。

12 匪類惡徒、言行忤逆、

13 以目示意、手足指點、

14 中心頑嚚、恒謀不軌、使人爭競、

15 故必遇災、猝然敗亡、無人援手、

16 六惡七罪、耶和華所疾、

17 目所視則傲慢、口所言則詭譎、手殺無辜、

18 心謀不軌、足趨惡途、

19 作妄證以誣人民、搆釁隙以間兄弟。

20 爾小子宜守父命、毋違母儀。

21 謹佩於心、繫之於項。

22 行時則導爾、寢時則保爾、寤時則語爾。

23 是父母之命、照爾若輝光之燭、責善之言、導爾入生命之途。

24 不惑於淫婦、不聽其諂媚。

25 勿爲色所誘、勿爲目所迷。

26 饅首一角、卽可招妓、淫人之妻、則喪生命。

27 豈有抱火而衣不焚、

28 豈有履炭而足不爇。

29 淫人妻者亦若是、凡捫之者、咸有罪愆。

30 竊物充飢、尚治其罪、

31 被人所執、償之七倍、償之不足、盡出所有。

32 淫人妻者必無智慧、己之生命、因以喪亡。

33 受毀傷、加凌辱、終不能洗其耻矣。

34 其夫知之、不勝憤怒、欲報厥怨、必不寬宥。

35 不許金贖、不受厚禮、終懷深憾。

21 Bind7194 them continually8548 on your heart,3820 and tie6029 them about5921 your neck.1621

22 When you go,1980 it shall lead5148 you; when you sleep,7901 it shall keep8104 you; and when you wake,6974 it shall talk7878 with you.
