人若遇見賊在挖[breaking up],把賊打了,以至於死,就不能以他為流人血的[blood be shed for him]

若太陽已經出來,就以他為流人血的[blood be shed for him]。

若找不到賊,那家主就要被領到審判官那裏[shall be brought unto the judges],要看看他拿了他鄰居[his neighbour's]的物件沒有。

牲畜若從看守的那裏被偷去,他就要賠還本主;

「人若向鄰居借甚麼,所借的或受傷,或死,本主沒有同在一處,借的人總要賠還;

你即或拿鄰居的衣服作抵押,必在日落以先歸還他;

你要將[Thou shalt]你初熟的果子和你的酒漿[first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors]拿來獻上,不可遲延;你要將頭生的兒子歸給我。
