2 諒必你們曾聽見神賜恩給我，將關切你們的職分託付我，

3 他［he］用啟示使我知道福音的奧秘；（正如我以前略略寫過的。

|
4 你們念了，就能曉得我深知基督的奧秘。）
|

|
5 這奧秘在以前的世代沒有叫人知道，像如今藉著靈［Spirit］啟示他的聖使徒和先知一樣。

|
6 這奧秘就是外邦人在基督［Christ］裏，藉著福音，得以同為後嗣，同為一體，同蒙應許。
|
6 That the3588 Gentiles1484 should be1511 fellow heirs,4789 and2532 of the same body,4954 and2532 partakers4830 of his846 promise1860 in1722 Christ5547 by1223 the3588 gospel: 2098

|
7 我作了這福音的執事，是照神的恩所賜［gift of the grace］，這恩賜是照他運行的大能賜給我的。
|
7 Whereof3739 I was made1096 a minister,1249 according2596 to the3588 gift1431 of the3588 grace5485 of God2316 given1325 unto me3427 by2596 the3588 effectual working1753 of his846 power.1411
|
|
8 我本來比眾聖徒中最小的還小，然而他還賜我這恩典，叫我把基督那測不透的豐富傳於外邦人中間［preach among the Gentiles］；

|
9 又使眾人都明白，這從世界的起頭［beginning of the world］以來隱藏在藉著耶穌基督［by Jesus Christ］創造一切［all things］之神裏的奧秘，是如何安排的。

|
10 為要藉著教會使天上執政的、掌權的，現在得知神百般的智慧。
|
10 To the intent that2443 now3568 unto the3588 principalities746 and2532 powers1849 in1722 heavenly2032 places might be known1107 by1223 the3588 church1577 the3588 manifold4182 wisdom4678 of God,2316
|
|
11 這是照他［he］在我們主［our Lord］基督耶穌裏所定永遠的［eternal］旨意。
|

|
|
12 我們因信耶穌，就在他裏面放膽無懼，篤信不疑的來到神面前。
|

|
13 所以，我求你們不要因我為你們所受的患難喪膽，這原是你們的榮耀。
|

|
|
14 因此，我在我們主耶穌基督的［of our Lord Jesus Christ］父面前屈膝。
|
14 For this cause5484 5127 I bow2578 my3450 knees1119 unto4314 the3588 Father3962 of our2257 Lord2962 Jesus2424 Christ,5547
|
|
15 天上地上的全家［the whole family］，都是從他得名。
|
15 Of1537 whom3739 the whole3956 family3965 in1722 heaven3772 and2532 earth1093 is named,3687
|
|
16 求他按著他豐盛的榮耀，以［by］他的靈［Spirit］，叫你們內裏的人［inner man］剛強起來；
|
16 That2443 he would grant1325 you,5213 according2596 to the3588 riches4149 of his848 glory,1391 to be strengthened2901 with might1411 by1223 his848 Spirit4151 in1519 the3588 inner2080 man;444
|
|
17 使基督因你們的信，住在你們心裏，叫你們的愛心有根有基，
|
17 That Christ5547 may dwell2730 in1722 your5216 hearts2588 by1223 faith;4102 that2443 ye, being rooted4492 and2532 grounded2311 in1722 love,26
|
|
18 能以和眾聖徒一同明白基督的愛是何等長闊高深，
|
18 May be able1840 to comprehend2638 with4862 all3956 saints40 what5101 is the3588 breadth,4114 and2532 length,3372 and2532 depth,899 and2532 height;5311
|
|
19 並知道基督的［of Christ］愛是過於人所能測度的，便叫神一切所充滿的，充滿了你們。
|
19 And5037 to know1097 the3588 love26 of Christ,5547 which passeth5235 knowledge,1108 that2443 ye might be filled4137 with1519 all3956 the3588 fullness4138 of God.2316
|
|
20 神能照著運行在我們心裏的大力充充足足的成就一切，超過我們所求所想的。
|
20 Now1161 unto him that is able1410 to do4160 exceeding abundantly5228 1537 4053 above5228 all3956 that3739 we ask154 or2228 think,3539 according2596 to the3588 power1411 that worketh1754 in1722 us,2254
|
|
21 但願他在教會中，並在基督耶穌裏，得著榮耀，直到世世代代，永世無盡［world withour end］。阿們。
|
