1 （大衛的詩，交與伶長。）我是投靠耶和華的；你們怎麼對我說：「你當像鳥逃往［Flee］你們［your］的山去」呢？

2 看哪，惡人彎弓，把箭搭在弦上，要在暗中射那心裏正直的人。

3 根基若毀壞，義人還能作甚麼呢？

4 耶和華在他的聖殿裏；耶和華的寶座在天上；他的眼目觀看，他的眼皮鑒察［his eyes behold, his eyelids try］世人。

5 耶和華試驗義人；唯有惡人和喜愛強暴的人，他心裏恨惡。

6 他要向惡人密布網羅；有烈火、硫磺、可怕的暴風［an horrible tempest］，作他們杯中的分。

7 因為耶和華是公義的，他喜愛公義；正直人必得見他的面。

Psalm 11

1 IN the LORD put I my trust; how say you to me, Flee as a bird to the mountains?

2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow; they make ready their arrow upon the string to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart.

3 For if they have destroyed the foundations which the LORD has prepared, what can the righteous do?

4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven; his eyes behold, his eyelids examine, the children of men.

5 The LORD tries the righteous and the wicked; but his soul hates him that loves violence.

6 Snares have come down upon the wicked like rain; fire and brimstone and a destructive tempest shall be the portion of their cup.

7 For the LORD is righteous, and he loves righteousness; his countenance beholds the upright.
