申命記

第11章

1 「你要愛耶和華─你的神，常守他的吩咐、律例、典章、誡命。

2 你們今日當知道，我本不是和你們的兒女說話；因為他們不知道，也沒有看見耶和華─你們神的管教、他的大能［his greatness］、他［his］大能的手，和伸出來的膀臂，

3 並他在埃及中向埃及王法老和其全地所行的神蹟奇事；

4 也沒有看見他怎樣待埃及的軍兵、車馬，他們追趕你們的時候，耶和華怎樣使紅海的水淹沒他們，將他們滅絕，直到今日，

5 並他在曠野怎樣待你們，以至你們來到這地方；

6 也沒有看見他怎樣待呂便子孫以利押的兒子大坍、亞比蘭，地怎樣在以色列人中間開口，吞了他們和他們的家眷，並帳棚與屬他們的一切產業［all the substance that was in their possession］。

7 唯有你們親眼看見耶和華所作的一切大事。

8 「所以，你們要守我今日所吩咐的一切誡命，使你們膽壯，能以進去，得你們所要得的那地，

9 並使你們的日子在耶和華向你們列祖起誓、應許給他們和他們後裔的地上得以長久；那是流奶與蜜之地。

10 你要進去得為業的那地，本不像你出來的埃及地。你在那裏撒種，用腳澆灌，像澆灌菜園一樣。

11 你們要過去得為業的那地乃是有山有谷、雨水滋潤之地，

12 是耶和華─你神所眷顧的；從歲首到年終，耶和華─你神的眼目時常看顧那地。

13 「你們若留意聽從我今日所吩咐的誡命，愛耶和華─你們的神，盡心盡性事奉他，

14 我［I］必按時降秋雨春雨在你們的地上，使你們可以收藏五穀、新酒和油，

15 也必使你吃得飽足，並使田野為你的牲畜長草。

16 你們要謹慎，免得心中受迷惑，就偏離正路，去事奉敬拜別神；

17 耶和華的怒氣就［then］向你們發作，使天閉塞不下雨，地也不出產；恐怕［lest］你們在耶和華所賜給你們的美地上速速滅亡。

18 「你們要將我這些［these］話存在心內，留在意中，繫在手上為記號，戴在兩眼當中［between your eyes］為額革［frontlets］。

19 也要教訓你們的兒女，無論坐在家裏，行在路上，躺下，起來，都要談論。

20 你［thou］又要寫在你［thine］房屋的門框上，並城門上；

21 使你們和你們子孫的日子在耶和華向你們列祖起誓、應許給他們的地上得以增多，如天覆地的日子那樣多。

22 你們若留意謹守遵行我所吩咐這一切的誡命，愛耶和華─你們的神，行他的道，專靠他，

23 耶和華［LORD］必從你們面前趕出這一切國民，就是比你們更大更強的國民，你們也要得他們的地。

24 凡你們腳掌所踏之地都必歸你們；從曠野和黎巴嫩，並幼發拉底大河，直到西海，都要作你們的境界。

25 必無一人能在你們面前站立得住；耶和華─你們的神必照他所說的，使懼怕驚恐臨到你們所踏之地的居民。

26 「看哪，我今日將祝福與咒詛的話都陳明在你們面前。

27 你們若聽從耶和華─你們神的誡命，就是我今日所吩咐你們的，就必蒙福。

28 你們若不聽從耶和華─你們神的誡命，偏離我今日所吩咐你們的道，去事奉你們素來所不認識的眾別神，就必受咒詛［curse］。

29 及至耶和華─你的神領你進入要去得為業的那地，你就要將祝福的話陳明在基利心山上，將咒詛的話陳明在以巴路山上。

30 這二山豈不是在約旦河那邊，日落之處，在住平原［champaign］的迦南人之地與吉甲相對，靠近摩利平原［plains］嗎？

31 你們要過約旦河，進去得耶和華─你們神所賜你們為業之地，在那地居住。

32 你們要謹守遵行我今日在你們面前所陳明的一切律例典章。

Deuteronomy

Chapter 11

1 THEREFORE you shall love the LORD your God, and keep his precepts, his statutes, his judgments, and his commandments, always.

2 And know this day that I do not speak to your children who have not known and who have not seen the discipline of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his outstretched arm,

3 And his signs, and his deeds, which he did in Egypt to Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and to all his land;

4 And what he did to the army of the Egyptians, to their horses and to their chariots and to their horsemen; how he made the water of the Red Sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD has destroyed them to this day;

5 And what he did to you in the wilderness, until you came into this place;

6 And what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben; how the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up, and their children and their tents and everything which they had, as they stood on their feet in the midst of all Israel;

7 But it is your eyes that have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did.

8 Therefore you shall keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that you may be strong and go in and possess the land which you are going over to possess;

9 And that you may prolong your days in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land that flows with milk and honey.

10 For the land into which you are entering to possess it is not like the land of Egypt, from which you came out, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your feet, like a vegetable garden;

11 But the land which you are going over to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, that drinks water of the rain from heaven;

12 A land which the LORD your God cares for always; the eyes of the LORD your God are upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.

13 And if you shall hearken diligently to the commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

14 He will give you the rain of your land in its due season, the early rain and the latter rain, and you shall gather in your grain and your wine and your oil.

15 And he will make grass to grow in your fields for your cattle, that you shall eat and be full.

16 Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be enticed, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them;

17 And then the LORD'S anger be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain and that the land may not produce its fruit, and that you perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD your God gives you.

18 Therefore you shall lay up these commandments in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hands, that they may be a token between your eyes.

19 And you shall teach them to your children, that they may talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

20 And you shall write them on the doorposts of your houses, and upon your gates;

21 That your days and the days of your children, may be multiplied in the land which the LORD your God swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon earth.

22 For if you shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you this day, and do them, and love the LORD your God, and walk in all his ways, and cleave to him;

23 Then the LORD will destroy all these nations from before you, and you shall possess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.

24 Every place whereon the sole of your foot treads shall be yours; from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the great river Euphrates, to the uttermost sea shall your territory be.

25 There shall no man be able to stand before you; for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that you shall tread, as he has said to you.

26 Behold, I set before you this day blessings and curses;

27 Blessings, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God which I am commanding you this day:

28 And curses, if you will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, and if you turn aside from the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which you have not known.

29 And it shall come to pass, when the LORD your God has brought you into the land whither you are entering to possess it, you shall put the blessings upon mount Gerizim, and the curses upon mount Gebel.

30 Behold, they are on the other side of the Jordan, behind the way, toward the setting of the sun, in the land of the Canaanites, who dwell in the low desert over against Gilgal, towards the house of the oak of Mamre.

31 For you are to cross the Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God gives you, and you shall possess it and dwell therein.

32 And you shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.

1 「你要愛耶和華─你的神，常守他的吩咐、律例、典章、誡命。

1 THEREFORE you shall love the LORD your God, and keep his precepts, his statutes, his judgments, and his commandments, always.

2 你們今日當知道，我本不是和你們的兒女說話；因為他們不知道，也沒有看見耶和華─你們神的管教、他的大能［his greatness］、他［his］大能的手，和伸出來的膀臂，

2 And know this day that I do not speak to your children who have not known and who have not seen the discipline of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his outstretched arm,

3 並他在埃及中向埃及王法老和其全地所行的神蹟奇事；

4 也沒有看見他怎樣待埃及的軍兵、車馬，他們追趕你們的時候，耶和華怎樣使紅海的水淹沒他們，將他們滅絕，直到今日，

5 並他在曠野怎樣待你們，以至你們來到這地方；

5 And what he did to you in the wilderness, until you came into this place;

6 也沒有看見他怎樣待呂便子孫以利押的兒子大坍、亞比蘭，地怎樣在以色列人中間開口，吞了他們和他們的家眷，並帳棚與屬他們的一切產業［all the substance that was in their possession］。

7 唯有你們親眼看見耶和華所作的一切大事。

7 But it is your eyes that have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did.

8 「所以，你們要守我今日所吩咐的一切誡命，使你們膽壯，能以進去，得你們所要得的那地，

8 Therefore you shall keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that you may be strong and go in and possess the land which you are going over to possess;

9 並使你們的日子在耶和華向你們列祖起誓、應許給他們和他們後裔的地上得以長久；那是流奶與蜜之地。

9 And that you may prolong your days in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land that flows with milk and honey.

10 你要進去得為業的那地，本不像你出來的埃及地。你在那裏撒種，用腳澆灌，像澆灌菜園一樣。

10 For the land into which you are entering to possess it is not like the land of Egypt, from which you came out, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your feet, like a vegetable garden;

11 你們要過去得為業的那地乃是有山有谷、雨水滋潤之地，

11 But the land which you are going over to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, that drinks water of the rain from heaven;

12 是耶和華─你神所眷顧的；從歲首到年終，耶和華─你神的眼目時常看顧那地。

12 A land which the LORD your God cares for always; the eyes of the LORD your God are upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.

13 「你們若留意聽從我今日所吩咐的誡命，愛耶和華─你們的神，盡心盡性事奉他，

13 And if you shall hearken diligently to the commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

14 我［I］必按時降秋雨春雨在你們的地上，使你們可以收藏五穀、新酒和油，

14 He will give you the rain of your land in its due season, the early rain and the latter rain, and you shall gather in your grain and your wine and your oil.

15 也必使你吃得飽足，並使田野為你的牲畜長草。

15 And he will make grass to grow in your fields for your cattle, that you shall eat and be full.

16 你們要謹慎，免得心中受迷惑，就偏離正路，去事奉敬拜別神；

16 Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be enticed, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them;

17 耶和華的怒氣就［then］向你們發作，使天閉塞不下雨，地也不出產；恐怕［lest］你們在耶和華所賜給你們的美地上速速滅亡。

17 And then the LORD'S anger be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain and that the land may not produce its fruit, and that you perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD your God gives you.

18 「你們要將我這些［these］話存在心內，留在意中，繫在手上為記號，戴在兩眼當中［between your eyes］為額革［frontlets］。

18 Therefore you shall lay up these commandments in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hands, that they may be a token between your eyes.

19 也要教訓你們的兒女，無論坐在家裏，行在路上，躺下，起來，都要談論。

19 And you shall teach them to your children, that they may talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

20 你［thou］又要寫在你［thine］房屋的門框上，並城門上；

20 And you shall write them on the doorposts of your houses, and upon your gates;

21 使你們和你們子孫的日子在耶和華向你們列祖起誓、應許給他們的地上得以增多，如天覆地的日子那樣多。

21 That your days and the days of your children, may be multiplied in the land which the LORD your God swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon earth.

22 你們若留意謹守遵行我所吩咐這一切的誡命，愛耶和華─你們的神，行他的道，專靠他，

22 For if you shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you this day, and do them, and love the LORD your God, and walk in all his ways, and cleave to him;

23 耶和華［LORD］必從你們面前趕出這一切國民，就是比你們更大更強的國民，你們也要得他們的地。

23 Then the LORD will destroy all these nations from before you, and you shall possess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.

24 凡你們腳掌所踏之地都必歸你們；從曠野和黎巴嫩，並幼發拉底大河，直到西海，都要作你們的境界。

24 Every place whereon the sole of your foot treads shall be yours; from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the great river Euphrates, to the uttermost sea shall your territory be.

25 必無一人能在你們面前站立得住；耶和華─你們的神必照他所說的，使懼怕驚恐臨到你們所踏之地的居民。

25 There shall no man be able to stand before you; for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that you shall tread, as he has said to you.

26 「看哪，我今日將祝福與咒詛的話都陳明在你們面前。

26 Behold, I set before you this day blessings and curses;

27 你們若聽從耶和華─你們神的誡命，就是我今日所吩咐你們的，就必蒙福。

27 Blessings, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God which I am commanding you this day:

28 你們若不聽從耶和華─你們神的誡命，偏離我今日所吩咐你們的道，去事奉你們素來所不認識的眾別神，就必受咒詛［curse］。

28 And curses, if you will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, and if you turn aside from the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which you have not known.

29 及至耶和華─你的神領你進入要去得為業的那地，你就要將祝福的話陳明在基利心山上，將咒詛的話陳明在以巴路山上。
