歌羅西書

第3章

1 所以，你們若真與基督一同復活，就當求在上面的事；那裏有基督坐在神的右邊。

2 你們要愛慕［affection］上面的事，不要戀慕［affection］地上的事。

3 因為你們已經死了，你們的生命與基督一同藏在神裏面。

4 基督是我們的生命，他顯現的時候，你們也要與他一同顯現在榮耀裏。

5 所以，要治死你們在地上的肢體，就如淫亂、污穢、縱［inordinate］情、邪惡的色欲［evil concupiscence］，和貪婪。貪婪就與拜偶像一樣。

6 因這些事，神的忿怒必臨到那叛逆之子［children of disobedience］。

7 當你們在這些事中活著的時候，也曾這樣行過。

8 但現在你們要棄絕這一切的事，以及惱恨、忿怒、惡毒［malice］、褻瀆［blasphemy］，並口中污穢的言語。

9 不要彼此說謊；因你們已經脫去舊人和舊人的行為，

10 穿上了新人。這新人在知識上漸漸更新，正如創造［created］他主的形像。

11 在此並不分希臘人、猶太人，受割禮的、未受割禮的，化外人，西古提人，為奴的、自主的，唯有基督是包括一切，又住在各人之內。

12 所以，你們既是神的選民，聖潔蒙愛的人，就要加上［put on］憐憫、恩慈、謙虛、溫柔、忍耐的心。

13 倘若這人與那人有嫌隙，總要彼此包容，彼此饒恕；基督［Christ］怎樣饒恕了你們，你們也要怎樣饒恕人。

14 在這一切之外，要加上［put on］愛心，愛心就是聯絡全德的。

15 又要叫神［God］的平安在你們心裏作主；你們也為此蒙召，歸為一體；且要存感謝的心。

16 當用各樣的智慧，把基督的教導豐豐富富的存在你們心裏［Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom］，用詩章、頌詞、靈歌，彼此教導，互相勸戒，心被恩感，歌頌主［Lord］。

17 無論作甚麼，或說話或行事，都要奉主耶穌的名，靠［by］著他感謝父神。

18 你們作妻子的，當順服自己的丈夫，這在主裏面是相宜的。

19 你們作丈夫的，要愛你們的妻子，不可苦待她們。

20 你們作兒女的，要凡事聽從父母，因為這是主所喜悅的。

21 你們作父親的，不要惹兒女的氣，恐怕他們失了志氣。

22 你們作僕人的，要凡事聽從你們肉身的主人，不要只在眼前事奉，像是討人喜歡的，總要存心誠實敬畏神［God］。

23 無論作甚麼，都要從心裏作，像是給主作的，不是給人作的，

24 因你們知道從主那裏必得著基業為賞賜；你們所事奉的乃是主基督。

25 那行不義的必受不義的報應；主並不偏待人。

Colossians

Chapter 3

1 IF you then are risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.

2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth,

3 For you are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory.

5 Mortify therefore your earthly members: immorality, uncleanness, intemperate desires, evil lusts, and covetousness, for these are idolatry;

6 And it is because of these things that the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

7 In the past you also lived among these things, and you were perverted by them.

8 But now put off from you all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, foul conversation.

9 Do not lie one to another, but put away the old life with all its practices;

10 And put on the new life which is renewed in knowledge after the pattern in which it was originally created:

11 Where there is neither Jew nor Syrian, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Greek nor barbarian, slave nor freeman; but Christ is all and in all men.

12 Therefore as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on mercy, kindness, gentleness, humbleness of mind, meekness, patience;

13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another; and if any one has a complaint against his fellow man, just as Christ forgave you, so should you also forgive.

14 And with all these things have love, which is the bond of perfection.

15 And let the peace of Christ govern your hearts; for that end, you are called in one body; and be thankful to Christ;

16 And let his word dwell in you abundantly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God.

17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do it in the name of our LORD Jesus Christ, giving thanks through him to God the Father.

18 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as it is appropriate in Christ.

19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter toward them.

20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto our LORD.

21 Parents, do not provoke your children, that they may not be discouraged.

22 Servants, obey your human masters in all things, not with eyeservice, as men pleasers; but with a sincere heart, in fear of the LORD.

23 And whatever you do, do it with your whole soul, as to our LORD and not unto men;

24 Knowing that from the LORD you shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the LORD Christ.

25 But the wrongdoer shall be rewarded according to the wrong which he has done: and there is no respect of persons.

7 當你們在這些事中活著的時候，也曾這樣行過。	7 In the past you also lived among these things, and you were perverted by them.

14 在這一切之外，要加上［put on］愛心，愛心就是聯絡全德的。	14 And with all these things have love, which is the bond of perfection.
