1 二使徒在以哥念、同入猶太人會堂、傳道、猶太及希利尼人、信者甚衆、

2 不信之猶太人、唆異邦人、憾衆兄弟、

3 二人居彼日久、毅然傳主道、主俾行異蹟奇事、以證其恩施、

4 邑衆羣分、有從猶太人者、有從二使徒者、

5 異邦人猶太人、及其有司、蜂擁二人欲凌辱石擊之、

6 二人知此、逃呂高尼之路士得、特庇二邑、

7 徧四方傳福音、〇

8 路士得有弱足人、生而跛、不能行、

9 聽保羅言、保羅注目視之、見其有信可愈、

10 乃大聲曰、正立、其人踊且行、

11 衆見保羅所爲、以呂高尼方言、揚聲曰、諸上帝藉人形臨我矣、

12 乃稱巴拿巴爲丟士、以保羅善說辭、稱爲希耳米、

13 邑外丟士廟祭司、牽犢、奉花冠、至門、合衆欲祭巴拿巴保羅、

14 二使徒聞之、裂衣、躍入衆中、

15 呼曰、爾曹何爲如此、我儕亦人、與爾同情、特傳福音與爾、使去此虛妄、歸造天地海萬物之永生上帝也、

16 先世、上帝容諸民自爲其所爲、

17 然上帝善視人、雨降自天、果生以時、賜我贏糧、喜溢於心、如是、證己爲上帝矣、

18 二人言此、僅使衆不祭而已、〇

19 有數猶太人、來自安提阿以哥念、唆衆石擊保羅、意其已死、曳出城外、

20 門徒環之、保羅起入城、明日、同巴拿巴往特庇、

21 傳福音、招多人爲徒、反路士得、以哥念、安提阿、

22 堅門徒心、勸之恒信、又言我儕欲入上帝國、必歷多難、

23 二人於各會、擇立長老、禁食祈禱、薦於其所信之主、

24 於是徑行彼西底至旁非利亞、

25 傳道於別加、遂往亞大利、

26 航海、至安提阿、昔在安提阿二人、爲衆所薦、托上帝恩、以盡厥職、

27 旣至、集會、以上帝用己行事告之、闢信門、來異邦人、

28 是後、二人與門徒、在安提阿久居焉、

Acts

Chapter 14

1 And it came1096 to pass in Iconium,2430 that they went1525 both together2596 into1519 the synagogue4864 of the Jews,2453 and so3779 spoke,2980 that a great4183 multitude4128 both5037 of the Jews2453 and also2532 of the Greeks1672 believed.4100

2 But the unbelieving544 Jews2453 stirred1892 up the Gentiles,1484 and made2559 their minds5590 evil2559 affected2559 against2596 the brothers.80

3 Long2425 time5550 therefore3767 stayed1304 they speaking boldly3955 in the Lord,2962 which3588 gave3140 testimony3140 to the word3056 of his grace,5485 and granted1325 signs4592 and wonders5059 to be done1096 by their hands.5495

4 But the multitude4128 of the city4172 was divided:4977 and part held2258 with the Jews,2453 and part with the apostles.652

5 And when5613 there was an assault3730 made1096 both5037 of the Gentiles,1484 and also of the Jews2453 with their rulers,758 to use5195 them spitefully,5195 and to stone3036 them,

6 They were ware4894 of it, and fled2703 to Lystra3082 and Derbe,1191 cities4172 of Lycaonia,3071 and to the region4066 that lies2192 round4066 about:4066

7 And there1563 they preached2097 the gospel.2097

8 And there sat2521 a certain5100 man435 at1722 Lystra,3082 weak102 in his feet,4228 being5225 a cripple5560 from his mother's3384 womb,2836 who3739 never3763 had walked:4043

9 The same3778 heard191 Paul3972 speak:2980 who3739 steadfastly816 beholding816 him, and perceiving1492 that he had2192 faith4102 to be healed,4982

10 Said2036 with a loud3173 voice,5456 Stand450 upright3717 on1909 your feet.4228 And he leaped242 and walked.4043

11 And when the people3793 saw1492 what3739 Paul3972 had done,4160 they lifted1869 up their voices,5456 saying3004 in the speech3072 of Lycaonia,3071 The gods2316 are come2597 down2597 to us in the likeness3666 of men.444

12 And they called2564 Barnabas,921 Jupiter;2203 and Paul,3972 Mercurius,2060 because1894 he was the chief2233 speaker.3056

13 Then1161 the priest2409 of Jupiter,2203 which3588 was before4253 their city,4172 brought5342 oxen5022 and garlands4725 to the gates,4440 and would2309 have done sacrifice2380 with the people.3793

14 Which when the apostles,652 Barnabas921 and Paul,3972 heard191 of, they rent1284 their clothes,2440 and ran1530 in among1519 the people,3793 crying2896 out,

15 And saying,3004 Sirs,435 why5101 do4160 you these5130 things? We also2532 are men444 of like3663 passions3663 with you, and preach2097 to you that you should turn1994 from these5023 vanities3152 to the living2198 God,2316 which3739 made4160 heaven,3772 and earth,1093 and the sea,2281 and all3956 things that are therein:1722

16 Who3739 in times1074 past3944 suffered1439 all3956 nations1484 to walk4198 in their own848 ways.3598

17 Nevertheless2544 he left863 not himself1438 without267 witness,267 in that he did15 good,15 and gave1325 us rain5205 from heaven,3771 and fruitful2593 seasons,2540 filling1705 our hearts2588 with food5160 and gladness.2167

18 And with these5023 sayings3004 scarce3433 restrained2664 they the people,3793 that they had not done sacrifice2380 to them.

19 And there came1904 thither1904 certain Jews2453 from Antioch490 and Iconium,2430 who persuaded3982 the people,3793 and having stoned3034 Paul,3972 drew4951 him out of the city,4172 supposing3543 he had been dead.2348

20 However,, as the disciples3101 stood2944 round2944 about2944 him, he rose450 up, and came1525 into1519 the city:4172 and the next1887 day1887 he departed1831 with Barnabas921 to Derbe.1191

21 And when they had preached2097 the gospel2097 to that city,4172 and had taught3100 many,2425 they returned5290 again5290 to Lystra,3082 and to Iconium,2430 and Antioch,490

22 Confirming1991 the souls5590 of the disciples,3101 and exhorting3870 them to continue1696 in the faith,4102 and that we must1163 through1223 much4183 tribulation2347 enter1525 into1519 the kingdom932 of God.2316

23 And when they had ordained5500 them elders4245 in every2596 church,1577 and had prayed4336 with fasting,3521 they commended3908 them to the Lord,2962 on1519 whom3739 they believed.4100

24 And after they had passed1330 throughout1330 Pisidia,4099 they came2064 to Pamphylia.3828

25 And when they had preached2980 the word3056 in Perga,4011 they went2597 down2597 into1519 Attalia:825

26 And there1564 sailed636 to Antioch,490 from where3606 they had been recommended3860 to the grace5485 of God2316 for the work2041 which3739 they fulfilled.4137

27 And when they were come,3854 and had gathered4863 the church1577 together,4863 they rehearsed312 all3745 that God2316 had done4160 with them, and how he had opened455 the door2374 of faith4102 to the Gentiles.1484

9 聽保羅言、保羅注目視之、見其有信可愈、

9 The same3778 heard191 Paul3972 speak:2980 who3739 steadfastly816 beholding816 him, and perceiving1492 that he had2192 faith4102 to be healed,4982

10 乃大聲曰、正立、其人踊且行、

11 衆見保羅所爲、以呂高尼方言、揚聲曰、諸上帝藉人形臨我矣、

14 二使徒聞之、裂衣、躍入衆中、

14 Which when the apostles,652 Barnabas921 and Paul,3972 heard191 of, they rent1284 their clothes,2440 and ran1530 in among1519 the people,3793 crying2896 out,

15 呼曰、爾曹何爲如此、我儕亦人、與爾同情、特傳福音與爾、使去此虛妄、歸造天地海萬物之永生上帝也、

15 And saying,3004 Sirs,435 why5101 do4160 you these5130 things? We also2532 are men444 of like3663 passions3663 with you, and preach2097 to you that you should turn1994 from these5023 vanities3152 to the living2198 God,2316 which3739 made4160 heaven,3772 and earth,1093 and the sea,2281 and all3956 things that are therein:1722

16 先世、上帝容諸民自爲其所爲、

16 Who3739 in times1074 past3944 suffered1439 all3956 nations1484 to walk4198 in their own848 ways.3598

17 然上帝善視人、雨降自天、果生以時、賜我贏糧、喜溢於心、如是、證己爲上帝矣、

17 Nevertheless2544 he left863 not himself1438 without267 witness,267 in that he did15 good,15 and gave1325 us rain5205 from heaven,3771 and fruitful2593 seasons,2540 filling1705 our hearts2588 with food5160 and gladness.2167

18 二人言此、僅使衆不祭而已、〇

18 And with these5023 sayings3004 scarce3433 restrained2664 they the people,3793 that they had not done sacrifice2380 to them.

19 有數猶太人、來自安提阿以哥念、唆衆石擊保羅、意其已死、曳出城外、

19 And there came1904 thither1904 certain Jews2453 from Antioch490 and Iconium,2430 who persuaded3982 the people,3793 and having stoned3034 Paul,3972 drew4951 him out of the city,4172 supposing3543 he had been dead.2348

20 門徒環之、保羅起入城、明日、同巴拿巴往特庇、

20 However,, as the disciples3101 stood2944 round2944 about2944 him, he rose450 up, and came1525 into1519 the city:4172 and the next1887 day1887 he departed1831 with Barnabas921 to Derbe.1191

21 傳福音、招多人爲徒、反路士得、以哥念、安提阿、

21 And when they had preached2097 the gospel2097 to that city,4172 and had taught3100 many,2425 they returned5290 again5290 to Lystra,3082 and to Iconium,2430 and Antioch,490

22 堅門徒心、勸之恒信、又言我儕欲入上帝國、必歷多難、

22 Confirming1991 the souls5590 of the disciples,3101 and exhorting3870 them to continue1696 in the faith,4102 and that we must1163 through1223 much4183 tribulation2347 enter1525 into1519 the kingdom932 of God.2316

23 二人於各會、擇立長老、禁食祈禱、薦於其所信之主、

23 And when they had ordained5500 them elders4245 in every2596 church,1577 and had prayed4336 with fasting,3521 they commended3908 them to the Lord,2962 on1519 whom3739 they believed.4100
