[Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days]

[They cause the naked to lodge without clothing]以致他們[that they]天氣寒冷毫無遮蓋。

使人赤身無衣而去[to go]又從飢餓的人中奪去禾捆[and they take away the sheaf from the hungry]

[Men groan from out of the city],受傷的人哀號;神卻不將愚妄加在他們身上[yet God layeth not folly to them]

[In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime];並不認識光明。

他們看早晨如死蔭[shadow of death]若有人認出他們[if one know them]他們就在死蔭的驚駭中[they are in the shadow of death]

他們所得的分在世上被咒詛;他們不得見葡萄園的路[beholdeth not the way of the vineyards]

惡待不育而不懷孕的[evil entreateth the barren that beareth not]婦人,不善待寡婦。

然而神用能力保全有勢力的人;他興起,人的性命難保[he riseth up, and no man is sure of life]
