帖撒羅尼迦後書

第3章

1 最後［Finally］，弟兄們［brethren］，請你們為我們禱告，好叫主的道理自由傳開［free course］，得著榮耀，正如在你們中間一樣。

2 也叫我們脫離無理之惡人的手，因為人不都是信實的［faith］。

3 但主是信實的，要堅固你們，保護你們脫離兇惡［evil］。

4 我們靠主深信，你們現在是遵行我們所吩咐的，後來也必要遵行。

5 願主引導你們的心，叫你們愛神並忍耐等候基督［patient waiting for Christ］。

6 弟兄們，如今［Now］我們奉我們［our］主耶穌基督的名吩咐你們，凡有兄弟［brother］不按規矩而行，不遵守從我們所受的遺傳［tradition］，就當遠離他。

7 你們自己原知道應當怎樣效法我們。因為我們在你們中間，未嘗不按規矩而行，

8 也未嘗白吃人的餅［bread］，倒是辛苦勞碌，晝夜作工，免得叫你們一人耗費［chargeable］。

9 這並不是因我們沒有權柄，乃是要給你們作榜樣，叫你們效法我們。

10 我們在你們那裏的時候，曾吩咐你們說，若有人不肯作工，就不可用餐［eat］。

11 因我們聽說，在你們中間有人不按規矩而行，甚麼工都不作，反倒專管閒事。

12 我們靠我們的［our］主耶穌基督吩咐、勸戒這樣的人，要安靜作工，吃自己的餅［bread］。

13 弟兄們，你們行善不可困倦［weary］。

14 若有人不聽從我們這信上的話，要記下他，不和他交往，叫他自覺羞愧。

15 但不要以他為仇人，要勸他如兄弟［brother］。

16 如今［Now］賜平安的主必［by all means］親自給你們平安。主必［The Lord be］常與你們眾人同在。

17 我保羅親筆問你們安。凡我的信都以此為記，我的筆跡就是這樣。

18 願我們主耶穌基督的恩，常與你們眾人同在。阿們［Amen］。

Chapter 3

2 And2532 that2443 we may be delivered4506 from575 unreasonable824 and2532 wicked4190 men:444 for1063 all3956 men have not3756 faith.4102

3 But1161 the3588 Lord2962 is2076 faithful,4103 who3739 shall establish4741 you,5209 and2532 keep5442 you from575 evil.4190

4 And1161 we have confidence3982 in1722 the Lord2962 touching1909 you,5209 that3754 ye both2532 do4160 and2532 will do4160 the things which3739 we command3853 you.5213

5 And1161 the3588 Lord2962 direct2720 your5216 hearts2588 into1519 the3588 love26 of God,2316 and2532 into1519 the3588 patient waiting5281 for Christ.5547

7 For1063 yourselves846 know1492 how4459 ye ought1163 to follow3401 us:2248 for3754 we behaved not ourselves disorderly812 3756 among1722 you;5213

8 Neither3761 did we eat5315 any3844 man's5100 bread740 for naught;1432 but235 wrought2038 with1722 labor2873 and2532 travail3449 night3571 and2532 day,2250 that we might not3361 be chargable1912 to any5100 of you: 5216

9 Not3756 because3754 we have2192 not3756 power,1849 but235 to2443 make1325 ourselves1438 an example5179 unto you5213 to follow3401 us.2248

10 For1063 even2532 when3753 we were2258 with4314 you,5209 this5124 we commanded3853 you,5213 that3754 if any1536 would2309 not3756 work,2038 neither3366 should he eat.2068

11 For1063 we hear191 that there are some5100 which walk4043 among1722 you5213 disorderly,814 working2038 not at all,3367 but235 are busybodies.4020

12 Now1161 them that are such5108 we command3853 and2532 exhort3870 by1223 our2257 Lord2962 Jesus2424 Christ,5547 that2443 with3326 quietness2271 they work,2038 and eat2068 their own1438 bread.740

13 But1161 ye,5210 brethren,80 be not weary1573 3361 in well doing.2569

14 And1161 if1487 any man5100 obey5219 not3756 our2257 word3056 by1223 this epistle,1992 note4593 that man,5126 and2532 have no company4874 3361 with him,846 that2443 he may be ashamed.1788

15 Yet2532 count2233 him not3361 as5613 an enemy,2190 but235 admonish3560 him as5613 a brother.80
