1 （上行［degrees］之詩。）我在急難中呼求［cried］耶和華，他就聽允［heard］我。

2 耶和華啊，求你救我性命［soul］脫離說謊的嘴唇，和詭詐的舌頭。

3 詭詐的舌頭啊，要給你甚麼呢？要拿甚麼加給你呢？

4 就是勇士的利箭和羅騰木的炭火。

5 我寄居在米設，住在基達帳棚之中，有禍了。

6 我與那恨惡和睦的人許久同住。

7 我願和睦，但我發言，他們就要爭戰。

1 IN my distress I cried to the LORD, and he heard me.

2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lips of the ungodly and from deceitful tongues.

3 What shall be given to you? or what shall be added to you, you deceitful tongues?

4 The arrows of the mighty are sharp; they are as hot coals of oak.

5 Woe is me, that my sojourn is prolonged, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

6 My soul has long dwelt with him that hates peace.

7 I am for peace; but when I speak they fight with me.
