第75篇

1 （亞薩的詩或［or］歌，交與伶長。用休要毀壞調。）神啊，我們稱謝你，我們稱謝你。因為你的名相近，人都述說你奇妙的作為。

2 我到了所定的日期，必按正直施行審判。

3 地和其上的居民都消沒［dissolved］了；我曾立了地的柱子。細拉。

4 我對愚昧人［fools］說：不要行事愚昧［foolishly］。又對［and to］惡人說：不要舉角。

5 不要把你們的角高舉；不要硬［stiff］著頸項說話。

6 因為高舉非從東，非從西，也非從南而來。

7 唯有神斷定；他使這人降卑，使那人升高。

8 耶和華手裏有杯，其中的酒紅潤［red］，杯內滿了調和［mixture］的酒；他倒出在杯內的［the same］，唯沒有倒出渣滓［but dregs thereof］；地上的惡人必都擠這酒的渣滓［wring them out］，而且喝盡。

9 但我要宣揚，直到永遠。我要歌頌雅各的神。

10 惡人一切的角，我要砍斷；唯有義人的角必被高舉。

Psalm 75

1 UNTO thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks and call upon thy name.

2 We will declare all thy wondrous works; then the time will come when I will judge uprightly.

3 Then the earth and all the inhabitants thereof shall be humbled; thou hast ordained the people thereof.

4 Thou saidst to the fools, Deal not foolishly, and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn;

5 Lift not up your horn on high; speak not with a stiff neck.

6 For defence comes neither from the west nor from the east nor from the desert mountains.

7 But God is the judge; he puts clown one, and sets up another.

8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, full of a mixture of the dregs of wine; and he passes it from one to another; surely all the wicked of the earth shall drink the dregs thereof.

9 But I will live for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
