羅馬書

第15章

1 如此［then］，我們堅固的人應該擔代不堅固人的軟弱，不求自己的喜悅。

2 我們各人務要叫鄰居喜悅，使他得益處，被造就［edification］。

3 因為基督也不求自己的喜悅，如經上所記：「辱罵你人的辱罵都落在我身上。」

4 從前所寫的聖經都是為叫我們學習［for our learning］所寫的，叫我們因聖經所生的忍耐和安慰可以得著盼望。

5 但願賜忍耐安慰的神叫你們彼此同心，效法基督耶穌，

6 一心一口榮耀神─我們主耶穌基督的父。

7 所以，你們要彼此接納，如同基督接納我們［us］一樣，使榮耀歸與神。

8 我說，耶穌［Jesus］基督是為神真理作了受割禮人的執事，要證實所應許列祖的話。

9 並叫外邦人因他的憐憫榮耀神。如經上所記：因此，我要在外邦中承認［confess］你，歌頌你的名；

10 又說：「你們外邦人當與主的百姓一同歡樂。」

11 又說：「外邦啊，你們當讚美主。眾民哪，你們都當頌讚他。」

12 又有以賽亞說：「將來有耶西的根，就是那興起來要治理外邦的；外邦人要信靠［trust］他。」

13 但願使人有盼望的神，因信將諸般的喜樂、平安充滿你們的心，使你們藉著聖靈的能力大有盼望。

14 弟兄們，我自己也深信你們是滿有良善，充足了諸般的知識，也能彼此勸戒。

15 但我稍微放膽寫信給你們，是要提醒你們的記性，特因神所給我的恩典，

16 使我為外邦人作耶穌基督［Jesus Christ］的僕役，作神福音的職事［ministering］，叫所獻上的外邦人，因著聖靈成為聖潔，可蒙悅納。

17 所以論到神的事，我因耶穌基督［through Jesus Christ］有可誇的。

18 除了基督藉我作的那些事，我甚麼都不敢提。只提他藉我言語作為，使外邦人順服。

19 用神蹟奇事的能力［Through mighty signs and wonders］，並神［of God］之靈的能力［by the power of the Spirit］。甚至我從耶路撒冷，直轉到以利哩古，到處傳了基督的福音。

20 我立了志向，不在基督的名被稱過的地方傳福音，免得建造在別人的根基上。

21 就如經上所記：未曾聞知他信息的，將要看見；未曾聽過的，將要明白。

22 我因這緣故［For which cause］多次被攔阻，總不得到你們那裏去。

23 但如今，在這裏再沒有可傳的地方，而且這好幾年，我切心想望到西班牙去的時候，可以到你們那裏，

24 相信［trust］從你們那裏經過，得見你們，先與你們彼此交往，心裏稍微滿足，然後蒙你們送行。

25 但現在，我往耶路撒冷去供給聖徒。

26 因為馬其頓和亞該亞人樂意湊出捐項給耶路撒冷聖徒中的窮人。

27 這固然是他們樂意的，其實也算是所欠的債；因外邦人既然在他們屬靈的好處上有分，就當把養身之物供給他們。

28 所以［therefore］，等我辦完了這事，把這善果向他們交付明白，我就要路過你們那裏，往西班牙去。

29 我也確知［sure］去的時候，必帶著基督福音［gospel of Christ］豐盛的恩典而去。

30 弟兄們，我為［for］我們主耶穌基督的緣故［sake］，又為［for］靈［Spirit］的愛，現在［now］勸你們與我一同竭力，為我祈求神，

31 叫我脫離在猶太不信［do not believe］的人，也叫我為耶路撒冷所辦的捐項可蒙聖徒悅納，

32 並叫我順著神的旨意，歡歡喜喜的到你們那裏，與你們同得暢快［refreshed］。

33 願賜平安的神常和你們眾人同在。阿們。

Romans

Chapter 15

1 WE then who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not seek to please ourselves.

2 Let every one of us please his neighbor in good and constructive ways.

3 For even Christ pleased not himself: but as it is written, The reproaches of those who reproached you have fallen on me.

4 For whatever things were written of old were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to regard one another to be equally worthy through the example of Jesus Christ;

6 That you may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our LORD Jesus Christ.

7 Therefore be close and bear one another's burdens, just as Christ also brought you close to the glory of God.

8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision, for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers:

9 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercies which were poured upon them; as it is written, Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles, and sing unto your name.

10 And again he says, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

11 And again, he says, Praise the LORD, all ye Gentiles; and praise him, all ye nations.

12 And again Isaiah said, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise will be a prince to the Gentiles; and in him shall the Gentiles trust.

13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace so that by faith you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

14 And I myself am persuaded concerning you, my brethren, that you also are filled with the same goodness, and made perfect with all knowledge, able also to admonish others.

15 Nevertheless, my brethren, I have written rather boldly to you, in order to remind you of the grace which is given to me by God,

16 That I may become a minister of Jesus Christ among the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable and sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

17 I am proud therefore to glory in Jesus Christ before God.

18 For I can scarcely speak of anything which Christ has not wrought by me for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,

19 Through mighty miracles and wonders, and by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem I went round about as far as Il-lyr'i-cum, and I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

20 And I have strived to preach the gospel, not at any place where Christ's name had already been preached, because I did not want to build on another's foundation:

21 But as it is written, Those to whom he was never mentioned, they shall see him: and those who have not heard of him, they shall be made obedient.

22 This is the reason why I have been many times prevented from coming to you.

23 But now since I have no place in these countries, and as I have been desirous for many years past to come to you,

24 When I leave for Spain, I hope to come to see you: and I hope that you will escort me thence after I have more or less fully enjoyed my visit.

25 But now I am going to Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.

26 For the brethren in Mac-e-do'ni-a and A-cha'ia have been pleased to take part in helping the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.

27 They have been eager to do it, because they are indebted to them, for if the Gentiles have been made partakers with them, of their spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them in material things.

28 When, therefore, I have accomplished this and have finished distributing to them this kind of help, I will cross over toward you on my way to Spain.

29 I know that, when I come to you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

30 Now, I beseech you, my brethren, by our LORD Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that you should strive together with me in your prayer to God for me;

31 That I may be delivered from those who are disobedient in Judµa; and that the assistance which I carry to the saints in Jerusalem may be well accepted.

32 So that I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.

33 Now may the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to regard one another to be equally worthy through the example of Jesus Christ;

6 一心一口榮耀神─我們主耶穌基督的父。

6 That you may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our LORD Jesus Christ.

7 所以，你們要彼此接納，如同基督接納我們［us］一樣，使榮耀歸與神。

7 Therefore be close and bear one another's burdens, just as Christ also brought you close to the glory of God.

11 And again, he says, Praise the LORD, all ye Gentiles; and praise him, all ye nations.

12 又有以賽亞說：「將來有耶西的根，就是那興起來要治理外邦的；外邦人要信靠［trust］他。」

12 And again Isaiah said, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise will be a prince to the Gentiles; and in him shall the Gentiles trust.

13 但願使人有盼望的神，因信將諸般的喜樂、平安充滿你們的心，使你們藉著聖靈的能力大有盼望。

13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace so that by faith you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

14 弟兄們，我自己也深信你們是滿有良善，充足了諸般的知識，也能彼此勸戒。

14 And I myself am persuaded concerning you, my brethren, that you also are filled with the same goodness, and made perfect with all knowledge, able also to admonish others.

15 但我稍微放膽寫信給你們，是要提醒你們的記性，特因神所給我的恩典，

15 Nevertheless, my brethren, I have written rather boldly to you, in order to remind you of the grace which is given to me by God,

16 使我為外邦人作耶穌基督［Jesus Christ］的僕役，作神福音的職事［ministering］，叫所獻上的外邦人，因著聖靈成為聖潔，可蒙悅納。

16 That I may become a minister of Jesus Christ among the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable and sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

17 所以論到神的事，我因耶穌基督［through Jesus Christ］有可誇的。

17 I am proud therefore to glory in Jesus Christ before God.

18 除了基督藉我作的那些事，我甚麼都不敢提。只提他藉我言語作為，使外邦人順服。

18 For I can scarcely speak of anything which Christ has not wrought by me for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,

19 用神蹟奇事的能力［Through mighty signs and wonders］，並神［of God］之靈的能力［by the power of the Spirit］。甚至我從耶路撒冷，直轉到以利哩古，到處傳了基督的福音。

19 Through mighty miracles and wonders, and by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem I went round about as far as Il-lyr'i-cum, and I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

20 我立了志向，不在基督的名被稱過的地方傳福音，免得建造在別人的根基上。

20 And I have strived to preach the gospel, not at any place where Christ's name had already been preached, because I did not want to build on another's foundation:

21 就如經上所記：未曾聞知他信息的，將要看見；未曾聽過的，將要明白。

21 But as it is written, Those to whom he was never mentioned, they shall see him: and those who have not heard of him, they shall be made obedient.

22 我因這緣故［For which cause］多次被攔阻，總不得到你們那裏去。

22 This is the reason why I have been many times prevented from coming to you.

23 但如今，在這裏再沒有可傳的地方，而且這好幾年，我切心想望到西班牙去的時候，可以到你們那裏，

23 But now since I have no place in these countries, and as I have been desirous for many years past to come to you,

24 相信［trust］從你們那裏經過，得見你們，先與你們彼此交往，心裏稍微滿足，然後蒙你們送行。

24 When I leave for Spain, I hope to come to see you: and I hope that you will escort me thence after I have more or less fully enjoyed my visit.

25 但現在，我往耶路撒冷去供給聖徒。

25 But now I am going to Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.

26 因為馬其頓和亞該亞人樂意湊出捐項給耶路撒冷聖徒中的窮人。

26 For the brethren in Mac-e-do'ni-a and A-cha'ia have been pleased to take part in helping the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.

27 這固然是他們樂意的，其實也算是所欠的債；因外邦人既然在他們屬靈的好處上有分，就當把養身之物供給他們。

27 They have been eager to do it, because they are indebted to them, for if the Gentiles have been made partakers with them, of their spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them in material things.

28 所以［therefore］，等我辦完了這事，把這善果向他們交付明白，我就要路過你們那裏，往西班牙去。

28 When, therefore, I have accomplished this and have finished distributing to them this kind of help, I will cross over toward you on my way to Spain.

29 我也確知［sure］去的時候，必帶著基督福音［gospel of Christ］豐盛的恩典而去。

29 I know that, when I come to you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

30 弟兄們，我為［for］我們主耶穌基督的緣故［sake］，又為［for］靈［Spirit］的愛，現在［now］勸你們與我一同竭力，為我祈求神，

30 Now, I beseech you, my brethren, by our LORD Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that you should strive together with me in your prayer to God for me;

31 叫我脫離在猶太不信［do not believe］的人，也叫我為耶路撒冷所辦的捐項可蒙聖徒悅納，

31 That I may be delivered from those who are disobedient in Judµa; and that the assistance which I carry to the saints in Jerusalem may be well accepted.

32 並叫我順著神的旨意，歡歡喜喜的到你們那裏，與你們同得暢快［refreshed］。

32 So that I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.

33 願賜平安的神常和你們眾人同在。阿們。
