第41篇

1 （大衛的詩，交與伶長。）眷顧貧窮的有福了。他遭難的日子，耶和華必搭救他。

2 耶和華必保全他，使他存活；他必在地上享福。你也不把［wilt not］他交給仇敵，達其所願［unto the will］。

3 他病重在床［bed］，耶和華必堅固［strengthen］他；他在病中，你必給他鋪床。

4 我曾說：耶和華啊，求你憐恤我，醫治我。因為我得罪了你。

5 我的仇敵用惡言議論我說：他幾時死，他的名才滅亡呢？

6 他來看我就說假話；他心存奸惡，走到外邊才說出來。

7 一切恨我的，都竊竊私語地［whisper］議論我；他們設計要害我。

8 他們說：有怪病貼在他身上；他已躺臥，必不能再起來。

9 連我密友［familiar friend］，我所倚靠、吃過我餅［bread］的也用腳踢我。

10 至於你─［But thou］耶和華啊，求你憐恤我，使我起來，好報復他們。

11 因我的仇敵不得向我誇勝，我從此便知道你喜愛我。

12 至於我［And as for me］，你因我純正就扶持我，使我永遠站在你的面前。

13 耶和華─以色列的神是應當稱頌的，從恆古［everlasting］直到永遠。阿們。阿們。

Psalm 41

1 BLESSED is he who looks after the poor; the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

2 The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, and he shall bless him upon the earth; he will not deliver him into the hands of his enemies.

3 The LORD will strengthen him upon his sick bed; he will wholly recover from his illness.

4 I have said, Thou art my LORD, be merciful unto me and heal my soul, for I have sinned against thee.

5 Mine enemies speak evil of me: When shall he die, and his name perish?

6 When they come to see me, they speak falsely and their hearts devise evil; they go out into the street and gossip about me.

7 All that hate me whisper together about me; they devise evil against me.

8 They conceive unjust accusations against me; they say, Now that he lies sick in his bed, he shall rise up no more.

9 Yea, even the man who visits me, in whom I trust, who eats my bread and whom I trust, betrays me.

10 But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me and heal me, that I may repay them.

11 By this I know that thou art pleased with me, because mine enemy doth not irk me.

12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.

13 Blessed is the LORD God of Israel from everlasting and to everlasting! Amen and Amen.
