2 And, behold,2400 there was a certain5100 man444 before1715 him which had the dropsy.5203

2 Und2532 siehe2400, da war2258 ein5100 Mensch444 vor1715 ihm846 der war wassersüchtig5203.

3 And Jesus2424 answering611 spoke2036 to the lawyers3544 and Pharisees,5330 saying,3004 Is it lawful1832 to heal2323 on the sabbath4521 day?

3 Und2532 JEsus2424 antwortete611 und2532 sagte3004 zu4314 den Schriftgelehrten3544 und Pharisäern5330 und sprach2036: Ist‘s auch1487 recht1832, auf den Sabbat4521 heilen2323?

4 And they held2270 their peace.2270 And he took1949 him, and healed2323 him, and let him go;630

4 Sie aber1161 schwiegen2270 stille. Und2532 er846 griff1949 ihn an und2532 heilete ihn und ließ630 ihn gehen.

5 And answered611 them, saying,2036 Which5101 of you shall have an ass3688 or2228 an ox1016 fallen1706 into1519 a pit,5421 and will not straightway2112 pull385 him out on1722 the sabbath4521 day?2250

5 Und2532 antwortete611 und2532 sprach2036 zu1722 ihnen846: Welcher5101 ist unter euch5216, dem sein Ochse1016 oder2228 Esel3688 in1519 den Brunnen5421 fällt1706, und er846 nicht3756 alsbald2112 ihn herauszieht385 am Sabbattage4521?

6 And they could2480 not answer470 him again470 to these5023 things.

6 Und2532 sie846 konnten2480 ihm darauf4314 nicht3756 wieder Antwort geben470.

7 And he put3004 forth3004 a parable3850 to those3588 which were bidden,2564 when he marked1907 how4459 they chose1586 out the chief4411 rooms;4411 saying3004 to them.

7 Er846 sagte3004 aber1161 ein Gleichnis3850 zu4314 den Gästen2564, da, er merkte1907, wie4459 sie erwähleten, obenan zu4314 sitzen4411, und sprach3004 zu ihnen:

8 When3752 you are bidden2564 of any5100 man444 to a wedding,1062 sit2625 not down2625 in the highest4411 room;4411 lest3379 a more honorable1784 man444 than you be bidden2564 of him;

8 Wenn3752 du4675 von5259 jemand5100 geladen wirst2564 zur1519 Hochzeit1062, so setze dich2625 nicht3361 obenan, daß1519 nicht3379 etwa ein Ehrlicherer denn du von5259 ihm846 geladen sei2564,

9 And he that bade2564 you and him come2064 and say2046 to you, Give1325 this5129 man444 place;5117 and you begin756 with shame152 to take2722 the lowest2078 room.5117

9 und2532 so dann5119 kommt2064, der dich4571 und2532 ihn geladen hat2564, spreche2046 zu dir4671: Weiche1325 diesem5129! und du müssest2722 dann mit3326 Scham152 untenan2078 sitzen.

10 But when3752 you are bidden,2564 go4198 and sit377 down377 in the lowest2078 room;5117 that when3752 he that bade2564 you comes,2064 he may say2036 to you, Friend,5384 go4320 up higher:511 then5119 shall you have2071 worship1391 in the presence1799 of them that sit4873 at4873 meat with you.

10 Sondern235 wenn3752 du2071 geladen wirst2564, so gehe hin4198 und setze dich377 untenan2078, auf1519 daß2443, wenn3752 da5119 kommt2064, der dich4571 geladen hat, spreche2036 zu dir4671: Freund5384, rücke4320 hinauf511! Dann wirst2564 du4671 Ehre1391 haben vor1799 denen4873, die mit dir4671 zu Tische sitzen.

11 For whoever3956 3588 exalts5312 himself1438 shall be abased;5013 and he that humbles5013 himself1438 shall be exalted.5312

11 Denn3754 wer3956 sich selbst1438 erhöhet, der soll erniedriget werden5312; und2532 wer sich selbst1438 erniedriget, der soll erhöhet werden5013.
|
|
12 Then1161 said3004 he also2532 to him that bade2564 him, When3752 you make4160 a dinner712 or2228 a supper,1173 call5455 not your friends,5384 nor3364 your brothers,80 neither3366 your kinsmen,4773 nor3364 your rich4145 neighbors;1069 lest3379 they also2532 bid479 you again,479 and a recompense468 be made1096 you.

12 Er846 sprach3004 auch2532 zu dem, der ihn geladen hatte2564: Wenn3752 du4671 ein Mittags -oder712 Abendmahl1173 machest4160, so2532 lade5455 nicht3361 deine4675 Freunde5384 noch2228 deine4675 Brüder80 noch3366 deine Gefreundeten4773 noch3366 deine Nachbarn1069, die da2532 reich4145 sind, auf daß sie846 dich4571 nicht3366 etwa wieder laden479, und1161 dir4675 vergolten468 werde1096.

13 But when3752 you make4160 a feast,1403 call2564 the poor,4434 the maimed,376 the lame,5560 the blind:5185

13 Sondern235 wenn3752 du ein Mahl1403 machest4160, lade2564 die Armen4434, die Krüppel5560, die Lahmen376, die Blinden5185,

14 And you shall be blessed;3107 for they cannot3756 2192 recompense467 you: for you shall be recompensed467 at1722 the resurrection386 of the just.1342

14 so2532 bist du selig3107; denn3754 sie haben‘s2192 dir4671 nicht zu vergelten467; es wird dir4671 aber1063 vergolten werden2071 in1722 der Auferstehung386 der Gerechten1342.
|

15 And when one5100 of them that sat4873 at4873 meat with him heard191 these5023 things, he said2036 to him, Blessed3107 is he that shall eat5315 bread740 in the kingdom932 of God.2316

15 Da aber1161 solches5023 hörete einer5100, der mit zu191 Tisch saß4873, sprach2036 er846 zu1722 ihm: Selig3107 ist, der das3739 Brot740 isset5315 im Reich932 Gottes2316.

16 Then1161 said2036 he to him, A certain5100 man444 made4160 a great3173 supper,1173 and bade2564 many:4183

16 Er846 aber1161 sprach2036 zu ihm: Es war ein5100 Mensch444, der machte4160 ein groß3173 Abendmahl1173 und2532 lud2564 viele4183 dazu.

17 And sent649 his servant1401 at supper1173 time5610 to say2036 to them that were bidden,2564 Come;2064 for all3956 things are now2235 ready.2092

17 Und2532 sandte649 seinen Knecht1401 aus zur Stunde5610 des Abendmahls1173, zu sagen2036 den Geladenen2564: Kommt2064, denn3754 es ist2076 alles3956 bereit2092!
|
|
18 And they all3956 with one3391 consent began756 to make3868 excuse.3868 The first4413 said2036 to him, I have bought59 a piece of ground,68 and I must2192 needs318 go1831 and see1492 it: I pray2065 you have2192 me excused.3868

18 Und2532 sie846 fingen an575 alle3956 nacheinander, sich2192 zu entschuldigen3868. Der erste4413 sprach2036 zu ihm846: Ich habe2192 einen3391 Acker68 gekauft59 und2532 muß318 hinausgehen1831 und2532 ihn besehen1492; ich bitte2065 dich4571, entschuldige mich3165.

19 And another2087 said,2036 I have bought59 five4002 yoke2201 of oxen,1016 and I go4198 to prove1381 them: I pray2065 you have2192 me excused.3868

19 Und2532 der andere2087 sprach2036: Ich habe2192 fünf4002 Joch2201 Ochsen1016 gekauft59, und2532 ich gehe jetzt hin4198, sie846 zu besehen1381; ich bitte2065 dich4571, entschuldige mich3165.

20 And another2087 said,2036 I have married1060 a wife,1135 and therefore122 5124 I cannot3756 1410 come.2064

20 Und2532 der dritte2087 sprach2036: Ich5124 habe ein Weib1135 genommen1060, darum kann1410 ich nicht2532 kommen2064.
|
|
21 So2532 that servant1401 came,3854 and showed518 his lord2962 these5023 things. Then5119 the master3617 of the house3617 being angry3710 said2036 to his servant,1401 Go1831 out quickly5030 into1519 the streets4113 and lanes4505 of the city,4172 and bring1521 in here5602 the poor,4434 and the maimed,376 and the halt,5560 and the blind.5185

21 Und2532 der1565 Knecht1401 kam3854 und2532 sagte das5023 seinem Herrn2962 wieder518. Da5119 ward der Hausherr3617 zornig3710 und2532 sprach2036 zu seinem Knechte1401: Gehe aus1831 bald5030 auf1519 die Straßen und2532 Gassen4113 der Stadt4172 und2532 führe die Armen4434 und2532 Krüppel5560 und Lahmen376 und Blinden5185 herein5602.

22 And the servant1401 said,2036 Lord,2962 it is done1096 as you have commanded,2004 and yet2089 there is room.5117

22 Und2532 der Knecht1401 sprach2036: Herr2962, es5117 ist2532 geschehen1096, was du befohlen hast2004; es ist2076 aber noch2089 Raum da5613.

23 And the lord2962 said2036 to the servant,1401 Go1831 out into1519 the highways1327 3598 and hedges,5418 and compel315 them to come1525 in, that my house3624 may be filled.1072

23 Und2532 der Herr2962 sprach2036 zu4314 dem Knechte1401: Gehe1525 aus1831 auf1519 die Landstraßen3598 und2532 an die Zäune5418 und2532 nötige315 sie hereinzukommen, auf daß2443 mein3450 Haus3624 voll werde1072.

24 For I say3004 to you, That none3762 of those1565 men435 which3588 were bidden2564 shall taste1089 of my supper.1173

24 Ich sage3004 euch5213 aber1063, daß3754 der1565 Männer435 keiner3762; die3588 geladen sind; mein3450 Abendmahl1173 schmecken1089 wird.

|
25 And there went4848 great4183 multitudes3793 with him: and he turned,4762 and said2036 to them,

25 Es ging4848 aber1161 viel4183 Volks3793 mit ihm846. Und2532 er846 wandte sich4762 und sprach2036 zu4314 ihnen:

|
26 If1487 any1536 man come2064 to me, and hate3404 not his father,3962 and mother,3384 and wife,1135 and children,5043 and brothers,80 and sisters,79 yes,2089 and his own1438 life5590 also,2532 he cannot3756 1410 be my disciple.3101
|
26 So2532 jemand1536 zu4314 mir3165 kommt2064 und2532 hasset3404 nicht3756 seinen1438 Vater3962, Mutter3384, Weib1135, Kinder5043, Brüder80, Schwestern79, auch2532 dazu2532 sein1511 eigen1438 Leben5590, der2532 kann1410 nicht2532 mein3450 Jünger3101 sein.

27 And whoever3748 does not bear941 his cross,4716 and come2064 after3694 me, cannot3756 1410 be my disciple.3101

27 Und2532 wer nicht3756 sein2064 Kreuz4716 trägt941 und2532 mir3694 nachfolget, der3748 kann1410 nicht mein3450 Jünger3101 sein1511.

28 For which5101 of you, intending2309 to build3618 a tower,4444 sits2523 not down2523 first,4412 and counts5585 the cost,1160 whether1487 he have2192 sufficient to finish535 it?
|
28 Wer5101 ist aber1487 unter1537 euch5216, der einen Turm4444 bauen3618 will2309 und1063 sitzt2523 nicht3780 zuvor und4412 überschlägt5585 die Kosten1160, ob er‘s habe2192 hinauszuführen4314?
|
|
29 Lest2443 3361 haply,3379 after he has laid5087 the foundation,2310 and is not able2480 to finish1615 it, all3956 that behold2334 it begin756 to mock1702 him,

29 auf daß3363 nicht3379, wo er846 den Grund2310 gelegt5087 hat und2532 kann‘s nicht3361 hinausführen1615, alle3956, die es846 sehen, fangen an756 sein zu2334 spotten1702

30 Saying,3004 This3778 man444 began756 to build,3618 and was not able2480 to finish.1615

30 und2532 sagen3004: Dieser3778 Mensch444 hub an756 zu bauen3618 und kann‘s nicht3756 hinausführen1615!

31 Or2228 what5101 king,935 going4198 to make4820 war4171 against another2087 king,935 sits2523 not down2523 first,4412 and consults1011 whether1487 he be able1415 with ten1176 thousand5505 to meet528 him that comes2064 against1909 him with twenty1501 thousand?5505

31 Oder2228 welcher5101 König935 will sich2523 begeben4198 in1519 einen Streit4171 wider einen andern2087 König935 und4412 sitzt2523 nicht3780 zuvor und3326 ratschlagt1011, ob1487 er2076 könnte mit4820 zehntausend1176 begegnen528 dem, der über1909 ihn846 kommt2064 mit1722 zwanzigtausend1501?

32 Or1161 else,1490 while the other846 is yet2089 a great4183 way4206 off,631 he sends649 an ambassador,4242 and desires2065 conditions4314 of peace.1515

32 Wo nicht1490, so schickt er846 Botschaft4242, wenn jener noch2089 ferne4206 ist5607, und bittet2065 um4314 Frieden1515.

33 So3767 likewise,3779 whoever3956 he be of you that forsakes657 not all3956 that he has,5224 he cannot3756 1410 be my disciple.3101

33 Also3779 auch ein jeglicher3956 unter1537 euch5216, der3739 nicht3756 absagt657 allem3956, was3767 er1438 hat5224, kann1410 nicht mein3450 Jünger3101 sein1511.

34 Salt217 is good:2570 but if1437 the salt217 have lost3471 his flavor,3471 with which1722 5101 shall it be seasoned?741

34 Das Salz217 ist ein gut2570 Ding; wo1437 aber1161 das Salz217 dumm wird3471, womit wird man würzen741?
|
|
35 It is neither3777 fit2111 for the land,1095 nor3777 yet for the dunghill;2874 but men cast906 it out. He that has2192 ears3775 to hear,191 let him hear.191
|
35 Es846 ist2076 weder3777 auf1519 das Land1093 noch3777 in1519 den Mist2874 nütze2111, sondern man wird‘s wegwerfen906. Wer Ohren3775 hat2192 zu hören191, der höre191!
