Chapter 15

1 Then1161 drew near1448 to him all3956 the publicans5057 and sinners268 for to hear191 him.

2 And the Pharisees5330 and scribes1122 murmured,1234 saying,3004 This3778 man receives4327 sinners,268 and eats4906 with them.

3 And he spoke2036 this5026 parable3850 to them, saying,3004

4 What5101 man444 of you, having2192 an hundred1540 sheep,4263 if he lose622 one1520 of them, does not leave2641 the ninety1768 and nine1768 in the wilderness,2048 and go4198 after1909 that which is lost,622 until2193 he find2147 it?

5 And when he has found2147 it, he lays2007 it on1909 his shoulders,5606 rejoicing.5463

6 And when he comes2064 home,3624 he calls4779 together4779 his friends5384 and neighbors,1069 saying3004 to them, Rejoice4796 with me; for I have found2147 my sheep4263 which3588 was lost.622

7 I say3004 to you, that likewise3779 joy5479 shall be in heaven3772 over1909 one1520 sinner268 that repents,3340 more than2228 over1909 ninety1768 and nine1768 just1342 persons, which3748 need2192 5532 no3756 repentance.3341

8 Either2228 what5101 woman1135 having2192 ten1176 pieces1406 of silver,1406 if1437 she lose622 one3391 piece,1406 does not light681 a candle,3088 and sweep4563 the house,3614 and seek2212 diligently1960 till2193 she find2147 it?

9 And when she has found2147 it, she calls4779 her friends5384 and her neighbors1069 together,4779 saying,3004 Rejoice4796 with me; for I have found2147 the piece1406 which3739 I had lost.622

10 Likewise,3779 I say3004 to you, there is joy5479 in the presence1799 of the angels32 of God2316 over1909 one1520 sinner268 that repents.3340

11 And he said,2036 A certain5100 man444 had2192 two1417 sons:5207

12 And the younger3501 of them said2036 to his father,3962 Father,3962 give1325 me the portion3313 of goods3776 that falls1911 to me. And he divided1244 to them his living.979

13 And not many4183 days2250 after3326 the younger3501 son5207 gathered4863 all537 together,4863 and took589 his journey589 into1519 a far3117 country,5561 and there1563 wasted1287 his substance3776 with riotous811 living.2198

14 And when he had spent1159 all,3956 there arose1096 a mighty2478 famine3042 in that land;5561 and he began756 to be in want.5302

15 And he went4198 and joined2853 himself1438 to a citizen4177 of that country;5561 and he sent3992 him into1519 his fields68 to feed1006 swine.5519

16 And he would fain1937 have filled1072 his belly2836 with the husks2769 that the swine5519 did eat:2068 and no3762 man3762 gave1325 to him.

17 And when he came2064 to himself,1438 he said,2036 How4214 many4214 hired3407 servants3407 of my father's3962 have bread740 enough4052 and to spare,4052 and I perish622 with hunger!3042

18 I will arise450 and go4198 to my father,3962 and will say2046 to him, Father,3962 I have sinned264 against1519 heaven,3772 and before1799 you,

19 And am1510 no3765 more3765 worthy514 to be called2564 your son:5207 make4160 me as one1520 of your hired3407 servants.3407

20 And he arose,450 and came2064 to his father.3962 But when he was yet2089 a great3112 way3112 off,568 his father3962 saw1492 him, and had compassion,4697 and ran,5143 and fell1968 on1909 his neck,5137 and kissed2705 him.

21 And the son5207 said2036 to him, Father,3962 I have sinned264 against1519 heaven,3772 and in your sight,1799 and am1510 no3765 more3765 worthy514 to be called2564 your son.5207

22 But the father3962 said2036 to his servants,1401 Bring1627 forth1627 the best4413 robe,4749 and put1746 it on1746 him; and put1325 a ring1146 on1519 his hand,5495 and shoes5266 on1519 his feet:4228

23 And bring5342 here5602 the fatted4618 calf,3448 and kill2380 it; and let us eat,5315 and be merry:2165

24 For this3778 my son5207 was dead,3498 and is alive326 again;326 he was lost,622 and is found.2147 And they began756 to be merry.2165

25 Now1161 his elder4245 son5207 was in the field:68 and as he came2064 and drew near1448 to the house,3614 he heard191 music4858 and dancing.5525

26 And he called4341 one1520 of the servants,3816 and asked4441 what5101 these5023 things meant.1498

27 And he said2036 to him, Your brother80 is come;2240 and your father3962 has killed2380 the fatted4618 calf,3448 because3754 he has received618 him safe5198 and sound.5198

28 And he was angry,3710 and would2309 not go1525 in: therefore3767 came1831 his father3962 out, and entreated3870 him.

29 And he answering611 said2036 to his father,3962 See,2400 these5118 many5118 years2094 do I serve1398 you, neither3763 transgressed3928 I at3763 any3763 time your commandment:1785 and yet you never3763 gave1325 me a kid,2056 that I might make2165 merry2165 with my friends:5384

30 But as soon3753 as this3778 your son5207 was come,2064 which3588 has devoured2719 your living979 with harlots,4204 you have killed2380 for him the fatted4618 calf.3448

31 And he said2036 to him, Son,5043 you are1488 ever3842 with me, and all3956 that I have1699 is yours.4674

32 It was meet1163 that we should make2165 merry,2165 and be glad:5463 for this3778 your brother80 was dead,3498 and is alive326 again;326 and was lost,622 and is found.2147

Kapitel 15

1 Es naheten aber1161 zu191 ihm846 allerlei3956 Zöllner5057 und2532 Sünder268, daß sie846 ihn höreten.

2 Und2532 die Pharisäer5330 und2532 Schriftgelehrten1122 murreten und2532 sprachen3004: Dieser3778 nimmt4327 die Sünder268 an und isset mit4906 ihnen846.

3 Er846 sagte3004 aber1161 zu4314 ihnen dies5026 Gleichnis3850 und sprach2036:

4 Welcher5101 Mensch444 ist622 unter1537 euch5216, der1520 hundert1540 Schafe4263 hat2192, und2532 so er846 der eines verlieret, der nicht3756 lasse2641 die neunundneunzig1768 in1722 der Wüste2048 und hingehe4198 nach1909 dem verloren622, bis2193 daß er‘s finde2147?

5 Und2532 wenn er‘s funden hat2147, so legt er‘s auf2007 seine1438 Achseln5606 mit1909 Freuden5463.

6 Und2532 wenn er heimkommt, ruft4779 er seine846 Freunde5384 und Nachbarn1069 und spricht3004 zu1519 ihnen: Freuet euch4796 mit mir3427; denn3754 ich habe2147 mein3450 Schaf4263 funden, das3588 verloren622 war2064.

7 Ich sage3004 euch5213: Also3779 wird auch Freude5479 im1722 Himmel3772 sein2071 über1909 einen Sünder268, der1520 Buße3341 tut3340, vor2228 neunundneunzig1768 Gerechten1342, die3754 der1909 Buße nicht3756 bedürfen2192.

8 Oder2228 welch Weib1135 ist622, die5101 zehn1176 Groschen1406 hat2192, so1437 sie der einen verlieret, die nicht3780 ein3391 Licht3088 anzünde681 und2532 kehre4563 das Haus3614 und2532 suche2212 mit Fleiß1960, bis daß sie ihn finde2147?

9 Und2532 wenn sie ihn funden hat2147, rufet sie ihre Freundinnen5384 und Nachbarinnen1069 und spricht3004: Freuet euch4796 mit mir3427; denn3754 ich habe2147 meinen Groschen1406 funden, den3739 ich verloren hatte622.

10 Also3779 auch, sage3004 ich euch5213, wird1096 Freude5479 sein vor1799 den Engeln32 Gottes2316 über1909 einen Sünder268, der1520 Buße tut3340.

11 Und1161 er sprach2036: Ein5100 Mensch444 hatte2192 zwei1417 Söhne.

12 Und2532 der jüngste3501 unter ihnen846 sprach2036 zum Vater3962: Gib1325 mir3427, Vater3962, das Teil3313 der Güter979, das mir gehört1911! Und2532 er846 teilete ihnen das Gut3776.

13 Und2532 nicht3756 lange4183 danach sammelte der jüngste3501 Sohn alles537 zusammen4863 und2532 zog589 ferne3117 über Land5561; und daselbst1563 brachte1287 er sein Gut3776 um1519 mit3326 Prassen811.

14 Da2532 er nun all das1565 Seine846 verzehret hatte1159, ward1096 eine große2478 Teurung durch2596 dasselbige ganze3956 Land5561, und1161 er fing756 an zu darben5302.

15 Und2532 ging hin4198 und2532 hängete sich848 an einen Bürger4177 desselbigen Landes5561, der1520 schickte3992 ihn auf1519 seinen846 Acker68, die1565 Säue5519 zu2853 hüten1006.

16 Und2532 er846 begehrte1937 seinen Bauch2836 zu575 füllen1072 mit Trebern2769, die3739 die Säue5519 aßen2068; und2532 niemand3762 gab1325 sie ihm.

17 Da schlug2064 er in1519 sich1438 und1161 sprach2036: Wieviel4214 Tagelöhner3407 hat mein3450 Vater3962, die Brot740 die Fülle haben4052, und1161 ich1473 verderbe622 im Hunger3042!

18 Ich will mich aufmachen450 und2532 zu4314 meinem3450 Vater3962 gehen4198 und2532 zu1519 ihm846 sagen2046: Vater3962, ich habe gesündiget gegen den Himmel3772 und vor1799 dir4675

19 und2532 bin1510 fort nicht mehr3765 wert514, daß5613 ich dein4675 Sohn heiße2564; mache4160 mich3165 zu einem1520 deiner4675 Tagelöhner3407.

20 Und2532 er846 machte sich1438 auf450 und2532 kam2064 zu4314 seinem Vater3962. Da er846 aber1161 noch2089 ferne3112 von dannen war568, sah1492 ihn846 sein4697 Vater3962, und2532 jammerte ihn, lief5143 und2532 fiel1968 ihm846 um1909 seinen846 Hals5137 und küssete ihn.

21 Der Sohn aber1161 sprach2036 zu1519 ihm846: Vater3962, ich habe gesündiget gegen1799 den Himmel3772 und2532 vor1799 dir4675; ich bin1510 fort nicht2532 mehr3765 wert514, daß ich dein4675 Sohn heiße2564.

22 Aber1161 der Vater3962 sprach2036 zu4314 seinen Knechten1401: Bringet das beste4413 Kleid4749 hervor1627 und2532 tut es ihm an1746; und2532 gebet1325 ihm einen Fingerreif1146 an1519 seine846 Hand5495 und2532 Schuhe5266 an seine846 Füße4228;

23 und2532 bringet ein gemästet4618 Kalb3448 her5342 und2532 schlachtet es: lasset uns essen5315 und fröhlich sein2165!

24 Denn3754 dieser mein3450 Sohn war2258 tot3498 und2532 ist622 wieder lebendig worden2147; er3778 war2258 verloren und2532 ist funden worden. Und fingen an756 fröhlich zu sein2165.

25 Aber1161 der älteste4245 Sohn war2258 auf1722 dem Felde68, und2532 als5613 er846 nahe1448 zum Hause3614 kam2064, hörete er191 das Gesänge4858 und2532 den Reigen5525

26 und2532 rief zu sich4341 der1520 Knechte3816 einen und fragte4441, was5101 das5023 wäre1498.

27 Der aber1161 sagte2036 ihm: Dein4675 Bruder80 ist kommen2240, und2532 dein4675 Vater3962 hat618 ein gemästet4618 Kalb3448 geschlachtet2380, daß3754, er846 ihn gesund5198 wieder hat.

28 Da3767 ward er846 zornig3710 und1161 wollte2309 nicht3756 hineingehen. Da ging1525 sein Vater3962 heraus1831 und2532 bat3870 ihn846.

29 Er antwortete611 aber1161 und2532 sprach2036 zum Vater3962: Siehe2400, so viel5118 Jahre2094 diene1398 ich dir4671 und2532 habe dein4675 Gebot1785 noch nie3763 übertreten3928, und du hast mir1698 nie3763 einen Bock2056 gegeben1325, daß2443 ich mit3326 meinen3450 Freunden5384 fröhlich wäre2165.

30 Nun aber1161 dieser dein4675 Sohn kommen2064 ist, der3778 sein Gut979 mit3326 Huren4204 verschlungen hat2719, hast du3588 ihm846 ein gemästet4618 Kalb3448 geschlachtet2380.

31 Er846 aber1161 sprach2036 zu ihm: Mein1699 Sohn5043, du4771 bist1488 allezeit3842 bei3326 mir1700, und2532 alles, was mein ist2076, das3956 ist dein4674.

32 Du5463 solltest1163 aber1161 fröhlich und2532 gutes Muts sein2165; denn3754 dieser dein4675 Bruder80 war2258 tot3498 und2532 ist622 wieder lebendig326 worden2147; er3778 war2258 verloren und2532 ist2532 wieder funden.
