1 上帝兮、聽予祈求、聆余禱告兮、

2 敵人攻余、余喪厥膽、流離遠方、籲呼於爾、

3 爾置予於難陟之巉巖、若鞏固之臺、棲息之所兮。

4 余將恒居爾室、爾覆翼予、猶鳥伏雛兮、

5 予曾許願、爾其垂聽、俾予得業、不亞於敬爾之人、

6 俾我爲王、永享遐齡、我之子孫、世襲厥位兮。

7 恒在爾前、沐爾仁慈、保我綏安、踐爾前言兮、

8 予日償我願、頌美爾靡已兮。

1 HEAR my cry, O God; attend to my prayer.

2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed; for thou hast led me upon a rock and hast comforted me.

3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from my enemies,

4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever; I will make my refuge the shadow of thy wings.

5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows; thou hast given an inheritance to them that revere thy name.

6 Thou hast added days to the days of the king, and his years as many generations.

7 He shall be established before God for ever; mercy and justice shall preserve him.

8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, when daily I fulfil my vows.
