馬可福音

第10章

1 耶穌從那裏起身，沿約旦河邊僻遠［by the farther side of Jordan］，來到猶太的境界。百姓［people］又聚集到他那裏；他又照常教訓他們。

2 有法利賽人來問他說：「人休妻可以不可以？」意思要試探他。

3 耶穌回答他們［them］說：「摩西吩咐你們的是甚麼？」

4 他們說：「摩西許人寫了休書便可以休妻。」

5 耶穌回答［answered］他們［them］說：「摩西因為你們的心硬，所以寫這條例給你們。

6 但從起初創造的時候，神造人是造男造女。

7 因此，人要離開父母，與妻子連合；［cleave to his wife］

8 夫妻二人成為一體［And they twain shall be one flesh］。既然如此，夫妻不再是兩個人，乃是一體的了。

9 所以神配合的，人不可分開。」

10 到了屋裏，他的［his］門徒又［again］問他這事。

11 耶穌對他們說：「凡休妻另娶的，就是犯姦淫，辜負他的妻子。

12 婦女［woman］若離棄丈夫另嫁，也是犯姦淫了。」

13 有人帶著小孩子來見耶穌，要耶穌摸他們；他［his］門徒便責備那些帶小孩子來的人［those that brought them］。

14 但［But］耶穌看見，就甚不喜悅［much displeased］，對門徒說：「讓小孩子到我這裏來，不要禁止他們；因為在神國的，正是這樣的人。

15 我實在告訴你們：『凡要承受神國的，若不像小孩子，必［shall］不能進去。』」

16 耶穌［he］於是抱起［up］小孩子，給他們按手，為他們祝福。

17 耶穌出來行路的時候，有一個人跑來，跪在他面前，問他說：「良善的夫子，我當作甚麼事才可以承受永生？」

18 耶穌對他說：「你為甚麼稱我是良善的？除了神一位之外，再沒有良善的。

19 誡命你是曉得的：『不可姦淫［Do not commit adultery］』、『不可殺人［Do not kill］』、『不可偷盜』、『不可作假見證』、『不可虧負人』、『當孝敬父母。』」

20 他回答［answered］耶穌說：「夫子，這一切我從小都遵守了。」

21 耶穌就［Then］看著他，愛他［beholding him loved him］，對他說：「你還缺少一件；你［thou］去變賣你所有的，分給窮人，就必有財寶在天上；你還要背起十字架［take up the cross］來跟從我。」

22 他聽見那［that］話就愁悶［sad］，憂憂愁愁的走了；因為他的產業很多。

23 耶穌周圍一看，對他的［his］門徒說：「有錢財的人進神的國是何等的難哪。」

24 門徒希奇他的話。只是［But］耶穌又回答［answereth again］，對［unto］他們說：「小子，倚靠錢財的人［them that trust in riches］進神的國，是何等的難哪。

25 駱駝穿過針的眼，比財主進神的國還容易呢。」

26 門徒就分外希奇，彼此［among themselves］說：「這樣誰能得救呢？」

27 耶穌看著他們，說：「在人是不能，在神卻不然；因為神凡事都能。」

28 彼得就對他說：「看哪，我們已經撇下所有的跟從你了。」

29 耶穌回答［answered］說：「我實在告訴你們：『人為我和福音撇下房屋，或是弟兄、姐妹、父母、妻子［wife］、兒女、田地，

30 沒有不在今時［time］反［But］得百倍的，就是房屋、弟兄、姊妹、母親、兒女、田地，並且要受逼迫；在來世必得永生。』

31 然而，有許多在前的，將要在後；在後的，將要在前。」

32 他們行路上耶路撒冷去；耶穌在前頭走。他們［they］就希奇；跟從的時候［as they followed］，他們［they］也害怕。耶穌又叫過十二個門徒來，就告訴他們自己將要遭遇的是甚麼事［and began to tell them what things should happen unto him］，

33 說［Saying］：「看哪，我們上耶路撒冷去；人子將要被交給祭司長和文士；他們要定他死罪，交給外邦人。

34 他們要戲弄他，鞭打他［scourge him］，吐唾沫在他臉上［spit upon him］，殺害他。到第三天［and the third day］，他要復活。」

35 西庇太的兒子雅各、約翰來見耶穌［come unto him］，說［saying］：「夫子，我們無論求［desire］甚麼，願你給我們作。」

36 耶穌對他們［unto them］說：「要我給你們作甚麼？」

37 他們對他［unto him］說：「賜我們在你的榮耀裏，一個坐在你右邊，一個坐在你左邊。」

38 耶穌卻［But］對他們［unto them］說：「你們不知道所求的是甚麼；我所喝的杯，你們能喝嗎？我所受的浸，你們能受嗎？」

39 他們對耶穌［unto him］說：「我們能。」耶穌對他們［unto them］說：「我所喝的杯，你們必［indeed］要喝；我所受的浸，你們必要受。

40 只是坐在我的左右，不是我可以賜的；乃是為誰預備的，就必［shall be］賜給誰。」

41 那十個門徒聽見，就甚不喜悅［much displeased］雅各、約翰。

42 耶穌卻［But］叫他們來，對他們說：「你們知道，外邦人有尊為君王的，治理他們；有大臣操權管束他們。

43 只是在你們中間，不可［shall it not be］這樣；你們中間，誰願為大，倒［but］必作伺侯你們的［your minister］；

44 在你們中間，誰願為首，就必作眾人的僕人。

45 因為人子來，並不是要受人的服事，乃是要服事人，並且要捨命作多人的贖價。」

46 他們［they］到了耶利哥；耶穌同他［his］門徒並數目許多的人［great number of people］出耶利哥的時候，有一個瞎子［blind］，是底買的兒子巴底買，坐在路旁乞討［begging］。

47 他聽見是拿撒勒的耶穌，就喊著說：「你這［thou］大衛的子孫耶穌啊，可憐我吧。」

48 有許多人責備他，不許他作聲；他卻越發大聲喊著說：「你這［thou］大衛的子孫哪，可憐我吧。」

49 耶穌就站住，吩咐人［commanded］叫過他來。他們就叫那瞎子，對他說：「放心，起來；他叫你啦。」

50 瞎子就丟下衣服，起來到［rose and came］耶穌那裏。

51 耶穌回答［answered］他［him］說：「要我為你作甚麼？」瞎子對他［unto him］說：「主［Lord］，我要能看見。」

52 耶穌對他［unto him］說：「你去吧；你的信使你痊癒［made thee whole］了。」瞎子立刻看見了，就在路上跟隨耶穌。

Chapter 10

1 AND he departed from thence, and came to the border of Judaea, at the crossing of the Jordan; and a great many people went to him there, and he taught them again, as he was accustomed to do.

2 And the Pharisees came up to him, tempting him and asking, Is it lawful for a man to desert his wife?

3 He said to them, What did Moses command you?

4 They said, Moses gave us permission to write a letter of separation, and then to divorce.

5 Jesus answered and said to them, It was because of the hardness of your heart, that he wrote for you this particular law.

6 But from the very beginning God made them male and female.

7 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and follow his wife.

8 And both shall be one flesh; henceforth they are not two, but one flesh.

9 What therefore God has joined, let no man separate.

10 And his disciples again asked him about this in the house.

11 And he said to them, Whoever divorces his wife and marries another, commits adultery.

12 And if a woman divorces her husband, and marries another, she commits adultery.

13 And they brought little boys to him, that he might touch them; but his disciples rebuked those who brought them.

14 But when Jesus saw it, he was displeased, and he said to them, Allow the little boys to come to me, and do not forbid them; for the kingdom of God is for such as these.

15 Truly I say to you, Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a little boy shall not enter it.

16 Then he took them in his arms, and put his hand on them, and blessed them.

17 While he was on the way, a man came ran up and fell on his knees and he asked him, saying, O good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit life eternal?

18 Jesus said to him, Why do you call me good? There is no one who is good, except the one God.

19 You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not murder, Do not bear false witness, Do not oppress, Honor your father and mother.

20 But he answered and said to him, Teacher, all of these I have obeyed from my boyhood.

21 Then Jesus looked at him and loved him, and he said to him, You lack one thing; go, sell everything you have, and give it to the poor, and you shall have a treasure in heaven; and take up your cross and follow me.

22 But he felt sad because of this saying, and he went away depressed; for he had great wealth.

23 Then Jesus looked at his disciples and said to them, How hard it is for those who have wealth, to enter into the kingdom of God!

24 But the disciples were surprised at his words. And Jesus answered again and said to them, My sons, how hard it is for those who trust in their wealth, to enter into the kingdom of God!

25 It is easier for a rope to enter through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

26 But they were the more surprised, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?

27 Jesus looked at them, and said to them, With men this is impossible, but not with God; for everything is possible with God.

28 Then Peter began to say, Behold, we have left everything and followed you.

29 Jesus answered and said, Truly I say to you, There is no man who leaves houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or fields, for my sake and for the sake of my gospel,

30 Who shall not receive now, in this time, an hundredfold, houses, and brothers and sisters, and maidservants, and children, and fields, and other worldly pursuits, and in the world to come life everlasting.

31 Many who are first shall be last, and the last first.

32 While they were going up on their way to Jerusalem, Jesus was ahead of them; and they were amazed; and they followed him with fear. And he took his twelve aside, and began to tell them what was surely to happen to him.

33 Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man will be delivered to the high priests and the scribes, and they will condemn him to death, and deliver him to the Gentiles.

34 And they will mock him, and scourge him, and spit in his face, and kill him; and on the third day he will rise up.

35 And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came up to him and said to him, Teacher, we wish you would do for us whatever we ask.

36 He said to them, What do you wish me to do for you?

37 They said to him, Grant us to sit, one at your right and one at your left, in your glory.

38 He said to them, You do not know what you are asking; can you drink the cup which I drink? and be baptized with the baptism with which I am to be baptized?

39 They said to him, We can. Jesus said to them, The cup which I shall drink, you will drink too; and with the baptism with which I am baptized, you will be baptized too;

40 But to sit at my right and at my left, that is not mine to give; except to those for whom it is prepared.

41 When the ten heard it, they began to murmur at James and John.

42 Jesus called them and said to them, You know that those who consider themselves princes of the people, are their owners too; and their officials rule over them.

43 Let not this be so among you; but he who wishes to be great among you, let him be a minister to you.

44 And anyone of you who wishes to be first, let him be a servant of every man.

45 For also the Son of man did not come to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life as a salvation for the sake of many.

46 And they came to Jericho; and when Jesus went out of Jericho with his disciples and a large crowd, a blind man, Timaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the roadside begging.

47 When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry aloud and say, O son of David, have mercy on me.

48 And many rebuked him to keep quiet, but he cried out the more, saying, O son of David, have mercy on me.

49 Then Jesus stopped and commanded to call him. So they called the blind man, and said to him, Have courage, rise; he is calling you.

50 And the blind man threw off his robe, and he got up, and went to Jesus.

51 Jesus said to him, What do you wish me to do for you? The blind man said to him, Master, that I may see.

52 And Jesus said to him, See; your faith has healed you. And immediately he saw, and went on the way.

11 耶穌對他們說：「凡休妻另娶的，就是犯姦淫，辜負他的妻子。	11 And he said to them, Whoever divorces his wife and marries another, commits adultery.
12 婦女［woman］若離棄丈夫另嫁，也是犯姦淫了。」	12 And if a woman divorces her husband, and marries another, she commits adultery.
13 有人帶著小孩子來見耶穌，要耶穌摸他們；他［his］門徒便責備那些帶小孩子來的人［those that brought them］。	13 And they brought little boys to him, that he might touch them; but his disciples rebuked those who brought them.
14 但［But］耶穌看見，就甚不喜悅［much displeased］，對門徒說：「讓小孩子到我這裏來，不要禁止他們；因為在神國的，正是這樣的人。	14 But when Jesus saw it, he was displeased, and he said to them, Allow the little boys to come to me, and do not forbid them; for the kingdom of God is for such as these.
15 我實在告訴你們：『凡要承受神國的，若不像小孩子，必［shall］不能進去。』」	15 Truly I say to you, Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a little boy shall not enter it.
16 耶穌［he］於是抱起［up］小孩子，給他們按手，為他們祝福。	16 Then he took them in his arms, and put his hand on them, and blessed them.
17 耶穌出來行路的時候，有一個人跑來，跪在他面前，問他說：「良善的夫子，我當作甚麼事才可以承受永生？」	17 While he was on the way, a man came ran up and fell on his knees and he asked him, saying, O good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit life eternal?
18 耶穌對他說：「你為甚麼稱我是良善的？除了神一位之外，再沒有良善的。	18 Jesus said to him, Why do you call me good? There is no one who is good, except the one God.
19 誡命你是曉得的：『不可姦淫［Do not commit adultery］』、『不可殺人［Do not kill］』、『不可偷盜』、『不可作假見證』、『不可虧負人』、『當孝敬父母。』」	19 You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not murder, Do not bear false witness, Do not oppress, Honor your father and mother.
20 他回答［answered］耶穌說：「夫子，這一切我從小都遵守了。」	20 But he answered and said to him, Teacher, all of these I have obeyed from my boyhood.

24 門徒希奇他的話。只是［But］耶穌又回答［answereth again］，對［unto］他們說：「小子，倚靠錢財的人［them that trust in riches］進神的國，是何等的難哪。	24 But the disciples were surprised at his words. And Jesus answered again and said to them, My sons, how hard it is for those who trust in their wealth, to enter into the kingdom of God!
25 駱駝穿過針的眼，比財主進神的國還容易呢。」	25 It is easier for a rope to enter through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26 門徒就分外希奇，彼此［among themselves］說：「這樣誰能得救呢？」	26 But they were the more surprised, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
27 耶穌看著他們，說：「在人是不能，在神卻不然；因為神凡事都能。」	27 Jesus looked at them, and said to them, With men this is impossible, but not with God; for everything is possible with God.
28 彼得就對他說：「看哪，我們已經撇下所有的跟從你了。」	28 Then Peter began to say, Behold, we have left everything and followed you.
29 耶穌回答［answered］說：「我實在告訴你們：『人為我和福音撇下房屋，或是弟兄、姐妹、父母、妻子［wife］、兒女、田地，	29 Jesus answered and said, Truly I say to you, There is no man who leaves houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or fields, for my sake and for the sake of my gospel,
30 沒有不在今時［time］反［But］得百倍的，就是房屋、弟兄、姊妹、母親、兒女、田地，並且要受逼迫；在來世必得永生。』	30 Who shall not receive now, in this time, an hundredfold, houses, and brothers and sisters, and maidservants, and children, and fields, and other worldly pursuits, and in the world to come life everlasting.
31 然而，有許多在前的，將要在後；在後的，將要在前。」	31 Many who are first shall be last, and the last first.

38 耶穌卻［But］對他們［unto them］說：「你們不知道所求的是甚麼；我所喝的杯，你們能喝嗎？我所受的浸，你們能受嗎？」	38 He said to them, You do not know what you are asking; can you drink the cup which I drink? and be baptized with the baptism with which I am to be baptized?
39 他們對耶穌［unto him］說：「我們能。」耶穌對他們［unto them］說：「我所喝的杯，你們必［indeed］要喝；我所受的浸，你們必要受。	39 They said to him, We can. Jesus said to them, The cup which I shall drink, you will drink too; and with the baptism with which I am baptized, you will be baptized too;

49 耶穌就站住，吩咐人［commanded］叫過他來。他們就叫那瞎子，對他說：「放心，起來；他叫你啦。」	49 Then Jesus stopped and commanded to call him. So they called the blind man, and said to him, Have courage, rise; he is calling you.
50 瞎子就丟下衣服，起來到［rose and came］耶穌那裏。	50 And the blind man threw off his robe, and he got up, and went to Jesus.
51 耶穌回答［answered］他［him］說：「要我為你作甚麼？」瞎子對他［unto him］說：「主［Lord］，我要能看見。」	51 Jesus said to him, What do you wish me to do for you? The blind man said to him, Master, that I may see.
