以西結書

第5章

1 惟爾人子、必取利刃、薙其鬚髮、權衡輕重而分之、

2 待城陷之日、必取髮三分之一、焚於邑中、以三分之一割之以刀、以三分之一散之四方、我亦襲之以刃、

3 爾當以髮少許、半繫於衿、

4 半投之火、焚之務盡、蓋必有火出、焚以色列全家、

5 主耶和華又曰、以上皆指耶路撒冷而言、昔我置其邑民於列國中。

6 我之律例法度、彼不遵從、而反作惡、較列邦尤甚、

7 故主耶和華曰、因爾違逆、不遵我律例、不守我法度、較列邦尤甚、列邦有善政、亦弗恪從、

8 故主耶和華曰、我必攻爾、降災於爾、使列邦目覩、

9 因爾所爲、深堪痛疾、我必降罰、自古迄今、至於後世、未有若此之甚。

10 我降災於爾邑、使父子相食、遺民散於四方。

11 主耶和華又曰、我指己而誓、因爾以可惡之物玷我聖所、故我必使人民減少、不加矜憫。

12 爾民三分之一、必亡於瘟疫饑饉、三分之一、必亡於鋒刃、三分之一、必散於四方、我亦襲之以白刃。

13 怒旣奮發、則雪予忿、使爾知予所言者、因熱中而言之、所行者、因憤烈而行之。

14 我使爾國荒涼、如是之甚、四周列邦及過爾地者、無不駭異、共相姍笑。

15 我怒憤烈、降以重災、使四方之民譏笑侮慢、以爾之事爲可戒可異、我耶和華已言之矣。

16 俾爾饑饉、日漸匱乏、絶爾餱糧、滅爾生命、如亡以毒矢、

17 不第降以饑饉、亦使暴獸攘爾子女、又使瘟疫鋒刃、臨於爾邦、耶和華已言之矣。

1 And thou,859 son1121 of man,120 take3947 thee a sharp2299 knife,2719 take3947 thee a barber's1532 razor,8593 and cause it to pass5674 upon5921 thine head7218 and upon5921 thy beard:2206 then take3947 thee balances3976 to weigh,4948 and divide2505 the hair.

2 Thou shalt burn1197 with fire217 a third part7992 in the midst8432 of the city,5892 when the days3117 of the siege4692 are fulfilled:4390 and thou shalt take3947 853 a third part,7992 and smite5221 about5439 it with a knife:2719 and a third part7992 thou shalt scatter2219 in the wind;7307 and I will draw out7324 a sword2719 after310 them.

3 Thou shalt also take3947 thereof4480 8033 a few4592 in number,4557 and bind6696 them in thy skirts.3671

4 Then take3947 of4480 them again,5750 and cast7993 them into413 the midst8432 of the fire,784 and burn8313 them in the fire;784 for thereof4480 shall a fire784 come forth3318 into413 all3605 the house1004 of Israel.3478

5 Thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 This2063 is Jerusalem:3389 I have set7760 it in the midst8432 of the nations1471 and countries776 that are round about5439 her.

6 And she hath changed4784 853 my judgments4941 into wickedness7564 more than4480 the nations,1471 and my statutes2708 more than4480 the countries776 that834 are round about5439 her: for3588 they have refused3988 my judgments4941 and my statutes,2708 they have not3808 walked1980 in them.

7 Therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Because3282 ye multiplied1995 more than4480 the nations1471 that834 are round about5439 you, and have not3808 walked1980 in my statutes,2708 neither3808 have kept6213 my judgments,4941 neither3808 have done6213 according to the judgments4941 of the nations1471 that834 are round about5439 you;

8 Therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Behold,2009 I, even1571 I,589 am against5921 thee, and will execute6213 judgments4941 in the midst8432 of thee in the sight5869 of the nations.1471

9 And I will do6213 in thee853 that which834 I have not3808 done,6213 and whereunto834 I will not3808 do6213 any more5750 the like,3644 because of3282 all3605 thine abominations.8441

10 Therefore3651 the fathers1 shall eat398 the sons1121 in the midst8432 of thee, and the sons1121 shall eat398 their fathers;1 and I will execute6213 judgments8201 in thee, and853 the whole3605 remnant7611 of thee will I scatter2219 into all3605 the winds.7307

11 Wherefore,3651 as I589 live,2416 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Surely,518 3808 because3282 thou hast defiled2930 853 my sanctuary4720 with all3605 thy detestable things,8251 and with all3605 thine abominations,8441 therefore1571 will I589 also diminish1639 thee; neither3808 shall mine eye5869 spare,2347 neither3808 will I589 have any pity.2550

12 A third part7992 of thee shall die4191 with the pestilence,1698 and with famine7458 shall they be consumed3615 in the midst8432 of thee: and a third part7992 shall fall5307 by the sword2719 round about5439 thee; and I will scatter2219 a third part7992 into all3605 the winds,7307 and I will draw out7324 a sword2719 after310 them.

13 Thus shall mine anger639 be accomplished,3615 and I will cause my fury2534 to rest5117 upon them, and I will be comforted:5162 and they shall know3045 that3588 I589 the LORD3068 have spoken1696 it in my zeal,7068 when I have accomplished3615 my fury2534 in them.

14 Moreover I will make5414 thee waste,2723 and a reproach2781 among the nations1471 that834 are round about5439 thee, in the sight5869 of all3605 that pass by.5674

15 So it shall be1961 a reproach2781 and a taunt,1422 an instruction4148 and an astonishment4923 unto the nations1471 that834 are round about5439 thee, when I shall execute6213 judgments8201 in thee in anger639 and in fury2534 and in furious2534 rebukes.8433 I589 the LORD3068 have spoken1696 it.

16 When I shall send7971 upon them the853 evil7451 arrows2671 of famine,7458 which834 shall be1961 for their destruction,4889 and which834 I will send7971 853 to destroy7843 you: and I will increase3254 the famine7458 upon5921 you, and will break7665 your staff4294 of bread: 3899

17 So will I send7971 upon5921 you famine7458 and evil7451 beasts,2416 and they shall bereave7921 thee; and pestilence1698 and blood1818 shall pass5674 through thee; and I will bring935 the sword2719 upon5921 thee. I589 the LORD3068 have spoken1696 it.

8 故主耶和華曰、我必攻爾、降災於爾、使列邦目覩、

13 怒旣奮發、則雪予忿、使爾知予所言者、因熱中而言之、所行者、因憤烈而行之。

13 Thus shall mine anger639 be accomplished,3615 and I will cause my fury2534 to rest5117 upon them, and I will be comforted:5162 and they shall know3045 that3588 I589 the LORD3068 have spoken1696 it in my zeal,7068 when I have accomplished3615 my fury2534 in them.

14 我使爾國荒涼、如是之甚、四周列邦及過爾地者、無不駭異、共相姍笑。

14 Moreover I will make5414 thee waste,2723 and a reproach2781 among the nations1471 that834 are round about5439 thee, in the sight5869 of all3605 that pass by.5674

15 我怒憤烈、降以重災、使四方之民譏笑侮慢、以爾之事爲可戒可異、我耶和華已言之矣。

15 So it shall be1961 a reproach2781 and a taunt,1422 an instruction4148 and an astonishment4923 unto the nations1471 that834 are round about5439 thee, when I shall execute6213 judgments8201 in thee in anger639 and in fury2534 and in furious2534 rebukes.8433 I589 the LORD3068 have spoken1696 it.
